I accidentally deleted my Figma account

I'd like to recover it, but when I try to use the deleted account to create a new one with the same email address, I get a "request failed". I deleted my account 6 hours ago. Do I have to wait longer to create it again? I've already tried a different browser and incognito mode, but it doesn't work. Thanks for your help.

Just to clarify — do you want to restore the previous account linked to your email, or were you trying to delete that account so you could create a new one from scratch? You mentioned at the beginning “I’d like to recover it” so I want to be sure.

When an account is deleted, this includes all files that they owned and their drafts. This is a permanent action that unfortunately cannot be undone.
