Hello, I have been trying to make this feature work with my custom template, but it seems that no matter what I do and what changes I make to the template, it still comes out wrong. Here are the main issues: every result is different, even when using same materials (texts) and template AI converts random slides to dark mode where it is not supposed to be in dark mode AI uses the Agenda slide as a section header or presentation cover Section header slides are inconsistent, always different AI makes its text + image slide on its own (not from template) AI resizes font sizes of slides it does use from template I tried:Renaming layers, auto layouts, frames, etc. to their intended purposes Detaching instances from main components (from a different file) Putting all content of a slide into a (renamed) frame to show its purpose Organizing slides based on intention (cover first, then agenda, section slide, etc.) Taking the texts out of auto layoutNone of these really worked, there have been so

Hi everyone,I’ve been noticing something weird with my site lately and can’t really figure out what’s causing it. Sometimes it loads fine, but other times it’s either really slow or just doesn’t open on the first try. Hi, I’m new to Figma and I’m trying to bring an existing Angular project into Figma for design and editing purposes.My project is already implemented in Angular (HTML, CSS/SCSS, components), and I’d like to know: Is there a way to import an existing Angular project (UI + styles) into Figma? Can Figma automatically convert HTML/CSS into editable frames/components? Are there any recommended tools or plugins to achieve this (e.g., HTML → Figma)? What is the best workflow to sync or recreate an existing frontend project inside Figma? No image loaded when publishing 

Hello Figma Community and Support Team,I am reaching out here as a last resort. I have submitted the contact form multiple times over the past [Time Period, e.g., two weeks] regarding a persistent issue, but I have yet to receive a resolution or a definitive follow-up. I understand the team is busy, but this is currently blocking my workflow/business procurement. If a community manager or support representative could please look into this or escalate my previous tickets, I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you for your time and help.

  I'm using Figma's Simple Design System (SDS). I added a new Mode to the Typography Primitives collection so I can switch to a different font.When I tested it directly in the SDS project file itself, I can easily select the mode and change to a different font without any issues.However, after I publish the SDS library and add it to another project file to use, I can no longer select or switch the mode to change the font.Does anyone know why this is happening? Please help me out. Thank you!  

Hi, I want to ask, I wonder if we can remove the color from On This Page section? Or I need to make specific library color for each project? 

How do I get to see colors defined in extended collections in the ‘Fill’ section?For example- I wanted to add a color from ‘RF Colors’, but the only ones I can see are from the ‘1 Semantic Colors’ section. 

Is there a way to copy Design files and paste it in another project folder, or a option to copy to <Folder Name> just like we have Move to..?

I’m working on a prototype of a website to purchase tickets for events, and I have the checkout process set up like this:Go to ‘Schedule’,Select the show (in this case, the show for ‘Mello Quake’),Select ‘Add To Cart’, which redirects you to your cart.Note: When adding to cart, this toggles a “Cart” variable to be set to “True”, which will change the ‘Add to Cart’ button to a variant that reads “View in Cart”. Both buttons have an animated hover state.From there, you are able to empty the cart by making the counter in the cart go to ‘0’. A pop up will appear as a warning, letting you know that this will empty the cart, and ask the user if that’s what they want to do. When testing this, I have been hitting “Yes” to empty the cart. Doing this will set the “Cart” variable to “False”. Ideally, when the “Cart” variable is set back to false, the button on the show page will change back to the “Add to Cart” variant. When iterating with UI changes with Figma Make, I have to constantly copy either the zip file over to my IDE or manually copy the code changes.Is there anyway I can have my account connected on Cursor and prompt Figma via Cursor chat so it can directly make changes to my codebase.Thanks!

I’m not alone in this confusion. Let me lay out what I’ve found and where the contradictions lie. 🔒 1. Official documentation (as of now) says the Community Seller program is closedFrom the official documentation on selling Community resources:“Note: We are not approving new creators to sell paid files on Community at this time.”This implies that unless you were already approved long ago, you can’t use the built-in Stripe-based seller infrastructure at all—meaning you cannot charge for your plugin through Figma in any official way. 🌐 2. Hello Brains Trust, I am stuck.I am trying to get a navigation bar's scroll position to stay at the top of a frame (a prototype website) as one scrolls down. I want the nav bar to be visible at all times, even when scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page - but it just won't. I have done every step recommended:Select the navigation bar instance in the Home frame. In the Prototype tab, select Sticky from the Position menu. Open the Auto layout settings, and make sure Canvas stacking is set to First on top. It is at the highest layer order within the frame It is fully inside the frame, with all appropriate properties enabled I have tried every configuration of ‘Overflow Behaviour’ and nothing works (none, horizontal, vertical, both directs etc.) Yes, it is in a frame, not a group. If I disable auto layout, the problem persists. I have applied the ‘First on top’ to the Main component. On one frame is kinda half works but flickers over and under layers. I am being invited to view a file, but when I click accept, it says it is restricted. This has happened with three different files for one of my co-workers. An outside organization is sending us access to view, but when we click accept in our email, it still says restricted. I have clicked " ask to be added,” and I have asked the other organization, but they are not getting emails that I am doing this. My email is correct, and I have cleared my cache. I have double checked that they have sent view access and they have done all the same steps for my manager and he has no issuing accessing the files. But me and my co-worker do, we have done everything on our part but there is clearly a Figma issue. This has been going on for 2 weeks.

Figma said i had to have a business account to add more credits, so i added my business account but i can't access the project now even though I have crdits on my business account and Figma... what a mess.

Hi all,I’m currently updating and simplifying my button library. At the moment, the leading and trailing icons are set up as separate variants of the button, which means I have to manage them across all states (default, hover, active, disabled).To improve this, I’m trying to use the new slots update so I can combine everything into a single component - using one slot that includes two icons and a text element - rather than relying on multiple icon variants.However, I’m running into an issue:When I edit the button layout (for example, moving or removing an icon) and then switch the button to a different state, the colours of the icons and text don’t update - they stay the same.I’ve set up variables to handle global colour changes across the buttons, but these don’t seem to apply correctly to elements inside the slots when switching between states (default, hover, active, disabled).Does anyone know how I can ensure the colours of elements within slots update correctly when changing varia

My bottom navbar disappears in prototype view mode whenever I set it to “Fixed(Stay in place)”. I want the navbar visible during scrolling.

Hi everyone.I’m new to Figma and UI/UX design. I’m trying to make a feature table for a product. I made the table which consists of 2 columns and 8 rows and it’s an Autolayout. When I set the width of the cells to “fixed”, the table is responsive to resizing but when adding text to the cell, parts of the text appear out of the frame. Setting the width to “hug content” fixes this issue but this pushes the cells out of the frame and also the table is no longer responsive to resize. Please help :’) 

Was hoping for some clarity in regards to how credit consumption works with an initial prototype design prompt (20 credits) vs an iteration prompt to refine the result? Similarly, how does the credit consumption work with multi-faceted refinement/iteration prompts vs single task based refinements?Thanks 

Hi everyone,I’m facing a confusing issue. A colleague and I are working on the same Figma file, but our Layers Panels look different.As you can see in the attached screenshot, my colleague can see actual image thumbnails (visual previews) next to the layer names in the panel. On my side, I only see the standard generic icons (like the hashtag for frames or the square for rectangles).We are both using the same file, but I cannot find a way to enable this visual preview. Is there a way to turn this on? Could it be related to the Figma version (Desktop app vs. Browser)? Does it require a specific plugin that I might be missing? It would be very helpful to have this visual guide for organization. Any ideas on why this is happening?Thank you!
