 Hello everyone,I'm trying to create a sticky navbar for my portfolio. I have a main frame with Auto layout set to a vertical direction. I've placed my navbar frame inside this main frame and set its position to Absolute position.I also went to the Prototype tab and enabled Fixed position when scrolling for the navbar.The problem is that the navbar sticks to the top-left corner, but it does not stretch to the full width of the page. It's leaving a blank space on the right side.I know that Absolute position takes a layer out of the Auto layout flow, and I've tried to set the navbar's constraints to Left & Right, but it's still not stretching as expected.My main frame is 1440pxwide, and I need the navbar to always fill that width while remaining sticky.Has anyone encountered this issue or found a working solution? Any help would be appreciat

Hi dear community, I have no idea how to catch those panel.After create a auto layout and choose the , those panels should appear sometimes will appear and sometimes I can find it no where, I don’t know in what case the panels will be show? 

Hi all, I created some designs that I exported as PDF. I have two problems with the result: The text is not selectable (I tried Mac’s Preview and Safari). The files are rather large (1MB for an A4 size design, no images or vectors, just a few text bozes. Any ideas how to overcome this? (I would try to avoid bringing it back my design to Sketch.

This auto-layout frame is a child/inside a basic frame that I should be able to move things around in.  How the heck do I turn this off when I hover over to click and drag. all I want to do is drag the group/autolayout over a bit manually and arrows in this small space are producing too large of a move. this comes up for me a ton and it’s insanely annoying. I can’t click and drag without it also changing the auto layout spacing.  if I want to change that I will go to the tool sidebar and do it myself.  I don’t need this pink stuff trying to do it for me just because i’ve hovered over it.Also, FYI - I couldn’t even screengrab it through the OS, because this literally happens on hover, so I snapped it with my phone - hence the bad photo, apologies.

It was going well but I didn’t like the last change made and asked for a revert, but didn’t revert the last changes properly, only some of them. is there any way to work like versions? so i could revert a change quickly without losing anything?Thanks in advance

I received the message 'We have successfully verified your education status!', but I didn’t get the 'Welcome to the Figma Education Plan' email, and nothing has changed in Figma (I still don’t see the Education Plan features after verification).

My goal is to download a design image from Jira and use it with another tool to compare it against a screenshot of the built feature.Here’s the issue: My agent seems able to fetch the image (I can see it being used in the chat context), but I can’t get it to actually save the file locally. We’re experiencing a random problem with component overrides in our design system which consists of multiple library files. Our components use an atomic structure, where small individual components are combined (sometimes with overrides) to create larger components. The problem we’re facing We’re using some components in a design file and they have overrides applied to them. When a new library update is published, taking the new updates in the design file breaks our overrides. The component properties/variant selection is intact, even the value of the overrides are intact, however the instance would either loose border radius, or have its alignment changed or the layer name resets to the original name from the atomic component. This happens to some specific components, and not others. And this also happens randomly, sometimes some components break, while others don’t. Hi everyone How can I costumise the caracters in keyboard to be the same as the caracters I want to be written. 

My marketing agency has a proprietary content creation platform (we control all aspects of the backend, etc.).  After written content is created, we typically copy and paste the content to a Figma design template. Via an API connection, is it possible to create my written content and simultaneously have it populate in a Figma template? Or even populate as comments? Currently we use the batch import functionality in Figma Buzz but now I'm interested in directly connecting a Figma template to our platform. Is this API connection possible? Thanks!

my icon set looks ok only in figma app interface LIGHT mode. But, when I switch via CMD+K “use DARK mode”, my icons are the same color (kind of black) as figma app interface bg color! I could make them gray, but this is silly. there must be a better solution i guess?

Hi! I’m following a video by BYOL right now, and he’s done such a great job explaining things. But I’m a teeny bit (very) confused about something:What I’ve got / what I’ve done: I have a main component which is a set of icon components combined to form a single component (I’ve called it Nav - Lower (NL)). I’ve taken three instances of NL and used them in three other frames. What I want: To make sure that the main component is responsive, so I changed its constraints to Left + Right and Bottom. I want to be able to change the main component and see those changes reflected in its instances. What I don’t want, but is happening right now: Screen-recording: 

I want to create a prototype where the header hides when scrolling down and becomes visible again when scrolling up. However, I couldn’t find any feature or tutorial explaining how to achieve this. I did find an old video, but it didn’t work for me. Is there any way to make this work?

When my student and I leave some of my files, they zoom way out. Even when I select to zoom in for the selected content, it zooms out each time I leave. Is it possible to zoom in and have it stay zoomed in on the content when I leave then return? In most cases, the pieces I want to zoom in on are the only content on the page.

Hello. Trying to preview an app I created in Figma Make on the iPad but I can only preview in the browser mode, which breaks the prototype because of all the extra browser panels and whatnot.The Figma app, however, does not even see the Make files.Is there a way to make Figma see Figma Make so that Figma can see what Figma created?

Hello!I have heard that you are about to update your bootcamp verification process starting September 23th.  Starting September 23, self-verification of bootcamps will no longer be available, and an administrator will need to confirm the bootcamp and then grant access to students and instructors. I have the following questions:1. If my company uses Figma as an online course rather than a bootcamp, do these updates apply to me? 2. Hi all, When i’m exporting to a JPG with a dark background, the export is adding 1px to its original size which then creates a thin white line top and bottom

I am creating coloring pages for my students and I made one with over 1200 squares to color in. I now want to separate it into different pages, but I can’t seem to unlock all of the squares to separate them into separate pages. I tried the unlock/lock stuff, but it only unlocks one at time. I tried to highlight the entire area and unlock them, but it didn’t work. It seems like I have to unlock the individual squares one at a time. I really don’t want to click through 1200 squares. Is there a way to unlock all in design?Or is there a way to highlight multiple objects or layers and unlock all of those?

I have run into an issue where all of my figma slides have a pink hue overlay. The center of the slide is a darker pink while the border of the slide have a light pink color.  This appears regardless of the slide format or template I use.  The color is even present on new slide files.  However, the color is not there when in presentation mode.  Please see attached file for an example.  Seems like there should be a simple solution.  I am using figma in the safari browser.  Never seen this problem before.  Thanks for the help.  

Hey all! Our design team needs to learn Figma on the fly and are looking for recommendations for the best current foundational course. They are experienced designers who have primarily worked out of Adobe CC and are new to Figma. They’re looking to learn all the Figma basics (excluding prototyping), with a focus on design system creation/maintenance. For background, I took Mizko’s Ultimate Figma Masterclass and found it very helpful, but also outdated. I’m looking to find a similar course that includes hands-on practice, but am hoping there’s one that is more up to date with the latest Figma UI. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
