Figma just hit me with surprise charges and won't refund - anyone else?Ugh, I'm so frustrated right now. Figma basically scammed me out of $33.87 and their support is being useless about it.What went down: We're a tiny team, only need 2 seats. But somehow our June bill had these random "new seat costs" for $33.87 that I never asked for. Like... what?The breakdown:2 Full seats (what we actually use): $40 ✓ Mystery charges: $33.87 ❌Figma's excuse: "Oh you approved it!" - umm no I didn't? When?? Where's the proof?Apparently when you change seat types, they hit you with "prorated charges" on your NEXT bill. Who tf knows what that even means? They never explained it when it happened.Support has been trash:First person: gave me a wall of text that explained nothing Second person: basically said "tough luck, you used the seats" Third person: "no refund because reasons"The most annoying part: They keep saying I "approved" these upgrades but can't show me where/when I did that. I am trying to design something where when I click one chip it becomes active and every other chip becomes inactive. I cannot achieve this no matter what I try. AI is telling me to write an expression in design mode; i cannot do this. This is for potentially hundreds of chips, I can’t make a variable for each one.Ideally I would like to do the following:In PROTOTYPE: When a chip is clicked, set a variable to that name. In DESIGN: In the instance, set its state to a condition, ie “if chipName == [this chip], make this active. Otherwise inactive:I cannot find any way to do this. Someone please help me. AI says that there should be a f(x) button in the assign variable dropdown in design mode but it’s not there, despite me being on a pro plan. 

I have the integration working from Figma to Slack - comments appear in my slack channel but when I reply to them in a thread, the replies do not appear in the figma file. 

Hello,I am currently unable to activate my Figma Education plan, even though my education status has already been approved by SheerID.During my first verification attempt, there was a technical issue and I deleted my Figma account because I thought restarting the process would solve it.My team is already on an Education plan, and everyone in the team except me currently has full edit access. On my side, Figma still displays a message saying that I need to verify my education status, and that my edit access will soon be restricted.SheerID has confirmed that my verification was approved and provided me with the related verification details.The issue is that when I try to verify again, I receive an error saying that I have exceeded the number of verification attempts for this email. SheerID says they cannot reset anything because, on their side, the verification is already approved. I have a plugin to find accessibility issues. We fetch images, traverse the tree and do all sorts of operations but ever since migrating to the new documentAccess: ‘dynamic-page’, the plugin has become slower.

Hi team,I submitted my plugin “Site Palette” for review about two weeks ago, and it’s still showing as private with the message: “This page is private for now. Only you can see it while your plugin is in review.”The plugin connects to a palette.site account and imports saved website color palettes as Figma local variables. It passed submission without any errors, and I haven’t received any feedback or approval email since.Could someone please check the status and flag it internally? I’d really appreciate any update.Thanks!

I submitted my plugin for review on March 8th, and as of today (March 27th) I still haven't received any feedback from the Figma team. No approval, rejection, or requests for changes.That's over 20 days of waiting, while the submission form indicated a turnaround of 5-10 business days.Could anyone share how long the review process is currently taking? Is this wait time normal right now, or should I follow up somewhere specific?

Here’s my setup:I have a full website frame called “Desktop - 1”. Inside this frame, there is a transparent header/navbar placed over the hero image. The navbar contains: logo search icon navigation items (“Destinos”, “Experiências”, “Sobre”) burger menu login icon CTA button Originally, I built the navbar separately as isolated components and the hover animations worked perfectly.What I’m trying to achieve:When hovering “Destinos”, a green selector line appears underneath it. Same behavior for “Experiências” and “Sobre”. Smooth hover transition using Smart Animate.My current structure:“Desktop - 1” → full page/frame with hero section and transparent navbar. Separate component called “Component 4” → isolated navbar version with the green selector line under “Destinos”.The problem:When I integrate everything into the full desktop frame, the hover animation starts flickering/glitching.It looks like Figma is transitioning between:the full desktop frame and the isolated navbar compone

My dropdown is rendering underneath the rest of the content in Preview mode (see attached image).The dropdown frame/component is already at the top of the layer hierarchy, so I don’t think it’s a simple layer order issue. I’ve also checked the parent frames and, as far as I can tell, there’s no clipping/“Clip content” configuration causing it.This only happens in Preview mode. Inside the editor everything looks correct.Has anyone experienced something similar with overlays/dropdowns being rendered behind other elements in Prototype/Preview? Could this be related to nested frames, absolute positioning, auto layout, or some prototype rendering limitation/bug?Would really appreciate any insight 🙏  

I am the admin on my team’s account, and my dashboard is showing that the account is free, and I am no longer able to access any of the files, see the team, or access the admin panel. My team, however, are still able to access the files, and they still see the 7MC team that I created.The chat bot keeps telling me that support tickets are handled Monday-Friday. However, I submitted my support ticket two days ago and no one has responded. I have a few urgent things that need to be done, and this is starting to impact the business. I need it resolved quickly.

HeyyyI Cannot Publish Plugin update after enabling MFA . How can i fix that ? 

My plugin is currently in review. The private Community page says: “Only you can see it while your plugin is in review.”I’m the plugin author and I can see the page, but when I click “Open in...”, Figma opens a file and the plugin keeps loading forever.Local development version works, and local dist/manifest.json import also works.Is the “Open in...” button expected to work for authors before approval? Or is the private listing only for previewing the Community page while the plugin is under review?

I have a personal Pro Plan (Work as a freelancer) and wanted to change ownership of the file to one of my clients who do not have the Pro Plan. I tried to change the ownership and now I’mm only able to edit and now theres a “!” icon next to Owner and their name but is still in a limbo.What can I do or who do I need to talk to?

I have been trying to pay our Figma invoice but have gotten no response from the billing team when I respond to the emails as I am told to do.I am on an organization account switching from a CC to invoice payment method and need a W9 to process the invoice. How/where do I got to get a response?

I’m doing a project with a map interaction. I wanted to magnify e section of a map using one overlay, then when the magnified version pops up, i want to interact with icons who are present in the magnified version. The problem is that when i try to open another overlay over the first one, the first overlay shuts off because I used the property “when mouse leave”. Any solution if I need to put multiple overlays on top of each other without closing them?

It’s is showing black screen without any error message. I tried to uninstall and clear all the files in file manager and reinstalled it again but still it's not opening I tried All the method listed below : 1. Clear Figma cache2. Run Figma with disabled GPU acceleration3. Update your graphics drivers4. Reset/Reinstall with full cleanup Please Help me in this !!! 

I use a Lenovo tablet with Android OS, and I use figma with de chrome app, when i hover onto the workstation of figma my cursor suddenly changes size and i can’t find a way to change it. Had enyone have this problem before? 

Hi! I'm working on a prototype for an e-commerce site, and I've added some information inside dropdowns. However, I'm not sure how to make the screen adjust dynamically when I open or close those dropdowns.Right now, I want the dropdowns to start closed, and only open when the user clicks on them. I have each dropdown set up with Auto Layout, and it works well if I keep the screen frame at a large height — as if all dropdowns were already open. But when I close them while the frame still has that large height, the prototype ends up with extra empty scrolling space.How can I make the screen size adapt automatically when dropdowns are opened or closed? I tried putting the whole screen in Auto Layout, but then scrolling stops working. I'm kind of lost. Let me know if something i wrote its not understandable. Has any one tried using Claude Cowork with Figma yet, and how did it work for you? Have you had issues with it making changes where it shouldn’t, and any ideas on how to mitigate that? Any experience to share is appreciated - thank you! 

Hi, I’m trying to import some .fig files and am getting an “Internal error during import” message whenever I try to import them. I tried importing on both the desktop app and the browser version and get the same error each time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, our team have a similiar problem as this topic where hundreds and hundreds of item are suddenly modified without clarity about what being changed.But whats worse is, just by today morning, my lead told me that yesterday i published a whole library without his approval. complete with my name on the version history.The thing is I never done it. we suspect that it might caused by some shortcut. but even the alt+3 shortcut is not auto publishing it all, it still brings up the publishing window and for sure i did not touch alt+3 for any use whatsoever, that is because usually i don’t remember the shortcuts and prefer the ctrl slash anyway. and at the time of the log I was not opening Figma in the foreground at all.I feel like I’m going crazy. Espescially because its my name on the line. What may have caused this?
