Hi, Figmates?Just wanted to check in with everyone. Has anyone heard any news or teasers of what’s coming next to Figma Sites or CMS?I feel the need to be excited, as I am working heavily on my website and want to understand what I will be able to do next and how.

Hey i hope anyone has some tips for me.I’ve been working with the windows app since january and experienced cache issues when making changes in the library and publishing to working files.Recently i split the components library up into 2 files, 1 for variables and 1 for components. We are running a multibrand design system and it was starting to get unweildy with just one library file. All ok there.So the structure is:variable library components library pulling in variables consuming working file linking to both libraries All of our components are built using atoms and nesting. But even just placing a button in the consuming file doesnt show eg the updated font colour.Now our freelancer who uses a mac has also started experiencing caching issues in the working files. We regularly delete cache. But changes do not show. Its starting to get a real problem  😭😭😭😭

Hi everyone.I’m currently working on a multi-brand design system  and I’ve separated everything into two files: A Foundations file containing all Variables and Styles A Components file where those Variables and Styles are imported and used The idea behind this setup was scalability. If additional digital products need to connect to the foundations layer in the future, they could independently consume and publish the shared foundations without being tied directly to the component library.However, I’m running into a few practical issues.Because the system is large and multi-brand, I spend a huge amount of time publishing updates in the Foundations file and then importing those updates again into the Components file. When hundreds of variables change at once, this becomes a lot of repetitive back-and-forth work.In addition, I sometimes encounter a bug where a variable appears to be set correctly, but the component does not visually update automatically. I’m running into a weird issue with interactive components in Figma and I’m not sure if this is a bug or just a limitation of how hover states work.I have a menu button component with 3 variants:Default Hovered ExpandedInteractions:Default → Mouse enter → Hovered Hovered → Mouse leave → Default Hovered → On click → Expanded Expanded → On click → DefaultThe Expanded variant contains a dropdown slot with submenu buttons.Problem:When I click the button, the Expanded state appears for a split second and immediately switches back to Hovered. Then, when I move the cursor away, Expanded appears again and gets “stuck”.It feels like the hover interaction is overriding the clicked state, even though I’m not using “While hovering” anymore.Things I already checked:No hidden interactions on variants No Smart Animate (using Instant) Expanded variant does not have a larger bounding box Dropdown is placed in a slot below the button No nested interactive components with conflicting triggersHas anyone e

Hello,I noticed an unexpected charge on my credit card on May 14, 2026. My monthly subscription plan is supposed to be for 1 seat ($20/month), but I was charged $57.20 because extra seats were automatically added without my explicit consent.I have already changed my seat approval settings to "Approve seats manually" so this won't happen again. Hi, I’m a student who’s working on a ad for Figma Draw as a school project. I need to find the brush cursor that you can see when taking the brush tool in Figma Draw mode. I tried to search for it : nothing. I tried to take a screenshot and vectorize with the AI, didn’t work so well. I would need the “official” one to continue the animation ! I even tried to look at it in the code but didn’t find it :/ If someone knows how to get it, I would appreciate it!

 Hi- I was working at an organization that was acquired. Instead of acquiring the old Figma, we created a new account. This got very confusing as some files were saved to the old account, etc. We just ran into this issue- does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

How to inject HTML video embed in Figma Sites CMS ?

I can’t seem to figure it out. Is this referring to an auto-layout setting? Or something to do with preferred instances?  

The transparency used for uncertain items is not very clear at first glance when zoomed out. Could this be improved, maybe by  use of a different colour for transparent items for greater contrast?

Hi, I’m trying to build a skill which traces the Figma prototype for all the interactions I have wire in my Figma file. The Figma MCP is unable to return any substantial value and unable trace the prototype. Any recommendations on how can I better solve this?

In Figma, my dropdown component is set up as a frame with a white fill at 100% opacity and normal blend mode. However, underlying layers are still visible through it, even though the dropdown is positioned above other elements in the layer hierarchy. I also tried toggling “Clip content” on and off, but nothing changed. What could be causing this issue?Additionally, could anyone recommend videos or online courses that explain how to create a proper dropdown menu in Figma? I’m really struggling with building one and getting a bit frustrated with it. Thanks a lot. 

Is the design system (variables, components, text styles) created inside a Figma Sites file publishable for other Figma Design or Site files to use?I’m trying to recreate a site in Figma Sites, and wondering if I should build DS inside the Site file or if I should build in an external Figma Design file, publish, and connect to the Figma Site file to use.(Optional Question)What’s the compatibility between Figma Design & Figma Sites in terms of library sharing, and what are the pros, cons, best practices?

im a beginner on figma and i was tryna create the fade in animation for the web page im making. the animation works as, when user scrolls through the page the elements slowly fade in. n this is supposed to work like in a sequence. ive tried following tutorials and even used ai for help but the results i get were either it wont work or everything wd fade in althogether which isnt what i actually want. so idk how to make it work.

Hi figma support. We'll be traveling from Argentina and we already bought hotel and plane tickets to be in San Francisco during Config's dates as this was part of our organization approval process. It was approved today morning and we realized the tickets are sold out, we're so sad since this was something we started planning two months ago and our organization time for approving these requests is long. Hey, I’ve got a problem. I want to publish my website in Figma Make, but it says the file is under review, and because of that I can’t publish my project to a Figma domain.How can I fix this?

Hello,  I recently submitted my public OAuth app for review, and have included a testing URL and detailed instructions for the team to test with, but I had a fundamental question about testing - if the app is not approved, that means the OAuth flow will only work for my own account (i.e. the same account that submitted the app). For the OAuth flow to work for any other Figma login, the app has to be published in public mode. If that is the case, how will the review team be able to test the app before it is approved? What am I missing here?
