Request to downgrade Organization plan and apply subscription value as account credit

Hello, Figma Support!

I recently upgraded from the Professional plan to the Organization plan and prepaid for an annual subscription. After spending some time with the billing documentation, I realized I had misunderstood how the Organization plan billing model works compared to the Professional plan.

Unfortunately, the Organization plan is more expensive than I can realistically afford, so I'd like to ask whether it's possible to downgrade back to the Professional plan.

More specifically, I'm hoping there may be a way to apply the value of my Organization subscription toward a Professional subscription.

Here's my current billing situation:

I prepaid for 3 Full seats for one year, totaling $2,158.20 (including tax). Since then, I've added 5 additional Full seats. According to the Organization billing model, these will be billed on my next quarterly invoice (October 14) as prorated charges through the end of the current annual term, for a projected amount of $3,110.15.

If possible, I'd like to know whether the total value of this Organization subscription (both the prepaid amount and the upcoming prorated invoice), minus the portion already used on the Organization plan from July 14 through today, could be converted into account credit and applied toward a Professional plan subscription.

At this stage, I would only like to confirm whether this kind of adjustment is possible. If it is, I would like to take some time to make the necessary preparations before the downgrade and then coordinate the downgrade with your team.

I haven’t received a response from Sales support by email and haven’t managed to get through the chatbot.

I appreciate any help you can provide with escalating this sensitive request.

Hey @Ladislav Belic ,  thanks for checking, and just to clarify, [fxxxa@rxxxx-xs.xu] is currently set as the primary email address on your account, which is why the Support team's reply for case #2051096 was sent there.

Please check the inbox associated with that email address, including your spam/junk folder.

If you no longer have access to that inbox and would like the response sent to [sxxxxxe@rxxxs.axxxxy] instead, please let me know. I can inform the Support team and ask them to resend their message to the correct email address.

Hope this clears things up!

Update: Saw and resolved via DM. I’ll go ahead and close the topic here, thank you!

Hi, @Celine_ ! Thank you for the quick reply! One thing I’d like to clarify: the email you mentioned - fxxxa@rxxxx-xs.xu, is it the email a Figma Team’s representative will contact me from? I mean, I should expect a letter on the email tied to my figma account sxxxxxe@rxxxs.axxxxy, right?
