I’ve got a library that uses a couple of other libraries to make components. The Assets panel is telling me that I’ve also got another library being used in the file that isn’t linked: But when I click in to find out what’s being used… There’s nothing - no styles, no components. But I don’t have the option to remove it.Anyone else have this happen and know how to get rid of the unwanted library please?

I’m using Material Theme Builder to create a color palette. I’ve checked that it creates the same output as the Material Theme Builder Figma plugin. In this example, shouldn’t be the picked secondary color equal as the secondary color generated in the palette. For example, I use the following colors in the Material Theme Builder plugin: Primary: 00687C Secondary: 4B6269 Tertiary: 585C7E Error: BA1A1A Neutral: F8F9FB Neutral variant: 8C9294 After creating the theme I get the following palette: Which is totally not the palette that should be generated. Take for example a look at the secondary color for the light theme, which should be S-40, but instead it is #00687A, which differs a lot from S-40 which is #4B6269. Is the Material Theme Builder broken or am I missing something?

I’m designing against the Fluent 2 component library which uses Segoe UI as the base font. It’s a very full featured library and has many variables. The base font is defined in a variable group “Topography”, then “Font-family”, then “Base”.If you don’t change this variable, all text in the entire file is rendered uneditable and I fought the good fight for a combined five hours. There was no error here and it seemed that even trying to change the variable would fail.It *seems* that logging out and back in again has fixed it (I also upgraded my account between logins) but this was immensely frustrating during the three sessions I spent trying to make it work.Is someone able to replicate this? Can it be fixed or at least an error message presented to prompt how to fix it? At first I thought I had to upgrade from Professional ($15/mo) to Enterprise ($75/mo) because of some errors while importing the component library.As a very new user, this was a pretty sour experience.

Im working on a document exporting several frames to pdf and all of a sudden one frame got exported as a blank page even tho i have exported it before without issue, if i exported as a different type of file like svg i get no problems but as a pdf it always comes as a blank file, really weird.i tried taking out elements and pasting them again but to no avail, i also made sure everything is inside the frame so i dont know what the issue could be.

Smart Animate is a great feature for designer but how is it translated when Dev receives this? I am able to find the following code for an on/off toggle component: // On click // Change to: "State=On"; // Animate: Smart animate; animation-timing-function: cubic-bezier(0.45, 1.45, 0.8, 1); animation-duration: 300ms; // On click // Change to: "State=Off"; // Animate: Smart animate; animation-timing-function: cubic-bezier(0.45, 1.45, 0.8, 1); animation-duration: 300ms; When developer see the line “Animate: Smart animate;”, will this make sense for them when they write in code?

I added a new property for the component Menüpunkte named Text. At Text the ! says:“Not used within properties” When I click on a variant, e.g. the first Über mich, I can only choose the Status Property. Why and how can I solve this issue? Why does the variant does not have the property text from the component, which I added before? Best regards, Oliver

We are experiencing a weird issue in Figma where library “Text Styles” applied to text layers or component instances get detached on random. Our fix is to use a semi-automated way of selecting all text layers on a screen and then perform the “Reset text style” action. The issue is persistent and seems to happen at random - anyone experienced something similar before? There is a closed topic on what seems like the same issue, with no resolution provided - Text Styles randomly get detached from original file

This is my parent component, and I need to reuse specific content in certain frames. I created two variants and renamed the text for each frame, but when previewing, the frame component reverts to its parent content. This is the outcome I want to achieve, but in preview, it doesn't reflect the renamed text. Currently experiencing a major performance slow down (borderline crash) when switching solid strokes to dash on 3 frames.

After clicking this Publish button, it leads to the next image attached, which does not have Publish button.What does this mean for publishing Library?This file is part of education Team and is also part of a project folder.

I started learning UIUX a year ago through YouTube and experimentation. I have good experience and I know some famous plugins, but can someone gather for me the names of the basic plugins that you use and their function? It is preferable that they be free.  

I'm new to Figma and have spent a few days now getting to know the program. Why don't I see what seems to appear like a default viewport setting with the component shortcut icon at the top of the workspace? What I’m currently seeing my viewportvs what I’d like to see (with the component icon top-center) 

Hello! I am trying to make a functional prototype by changing the path a user progresses to depending on which multiple choice option they select. The problem is, how do I make the function action on “continue” but check to see which option is selected to route them to the correct place? Example, on click of Continue, if user selected option 1, take them to page A. But if they click continue with option 2 selected, send them to page B. Thank you!  

There is a plugin that we’ve used in our designs which was monetized recently. Now, it has reached its free limit and we’re considering to buy it. But it is not clear how it can be used in organizations. Are purchased plugins linked to a specific account, a project, etc? If we buy one, can other team members use it in our Figma? If it is linked to a person, what happens if the person leaves the company? Thanks!

Trying to change your email just the worst user experience ever! After deactivating Google SSO and updating the email in settings, then confirming the email address by clicking on the link in the mail it creates a brand new account on that email!!?? I’m at a loss for words and had to give up the process.

Hi everybody, I need help to create a section that has a sidebar menu with the works of my client on the left and then an image that represent each work in the center. I don’t know how to explain it exactly so i’m gonna put a screenshot so that is more clear but basically I want the images of each work to slide in on the viewport when I click on a specific work on the sidebar. Hi Figmanauts, quick question in case anyone has seen a cool workaround.I’d like to see if there is a clever way to make a bunch of components that share a parent element automatically all be the same size.I can’t set them to “fill” because I want the size of the parent element to be determined by the width of the largest child element (ie: the parent element is set to Hug).I don’t want to set the child elements to “fixed” because I want the design to be flexible, and be based on the width of the text inside each button.Manually what I’d do is I’d look at the collection of child elements, choose the one with the longest text and set it to Hug, and then set all the others to Fill. That will meet my requirements, except…. if the text changes, then the “widest” element may be a different element and then I have to go and switch which one has Hug and which one has Fill.Here’s an example:Imagine an autolayout frame containing a number of elements. I’m trying to use @aws-sdk/client-s3 in my Figma Plugin to upload an exported page as a PNG, but I’m receiving a “Unexpected token .” in the console when running the plugin. I think this happens when trying to instantiate the S3 client. I assumed because this package can be included in the browser, it would be possible to import this into my Figma plugin, but maybe my assumption is wrong. I have made a component with 2 variants that has an animation between the 2 variants, but if i place it in the main parent frame of my website layout with giving it position fixed, it will disappear from the prototype preview. also, what i really need is a way to make this component sticky, but relative to the bottom of the viewport - i dont know of any way to do this, theres a setting to make it stick to the top of the viewport, but not for what i need. are there any solutions for these issues?

I have built a prototype out and when I play it on desktop it works fine. This prototype has a video background. When I play it on the mobile app, the videos are lagging on load causing a flashing effect. This makes the transition pretty janky. I have confirmed I’m on the latest update of app and OS, layers are named the same and in the same order. How can I fix the flashing videos on transitions?
