My colleagues wait the verification email for new account for over 1week. And checked it in the inbox and junk, but still don’t receive it

We have a note comment component which uses the dropdown icon component inside. The dropdown icon has the following actions: Edit & Clear. When i choose edit i want to link the note comment variant - default to the variant edit. But for as now I think it is not possible to link an option from another component to a new variant for the note comment component.  

Hi there!I'm a bit stuck and could use some help. I'm trying to demonstrate the focus state for accessibility purposes using the Tab key, so developers can see how focus behaves when users navigate with the keyboard.The issue I'm facing is that the element doesn't reset when moving on to the next one. I've tried using it both with and without "reset component state," but it just doesn't work as expected.Do you have any idea what might be causing this?Here's an example:  

I followed a YouTube tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6L2xdX-TXc) on how to create a carousel slider, but the only difference is that my version contains text only. Once I applied the “SMALL” property to the “Frame 60” and chose the "2" variants, the text scaling didn’t work like I thought. I tried auto layout and set the constraints to scale, but it didn’t work. Please excuse my choppy explanation; I can't find the solution anywhere.

I want to create a variable for a font style that is italic and has a defined font weight (eg. 450). Is it possible to create a variable to handle this case?

I am trying to apply for the educational plan. However, when I click on https://www.figma.com/education/apply, it shows me “you’re in” and “go to Figma” instead of application also the plan doesn’t change. I emailed support@figma.com, and they replied by stating that I should ask here in the community forum. Please help me out. For your reference I have attached the screen.

Hello, I have 2 questions:first, if I need to create an interaction to a particular destination page, it won’t let me until I do create ‘create component’ for an object and choose it. Is there a way that I can make the destination is the whole page?second, the prototype doesn’t show the whole screen for my design and doesn’t allow roaming between the  interactions I created freely . Am I doing something wrong?I included what I mean in the 2 screenshots below. Thank you in advance.

Hi there. I try to explain what the problem with the prototype is: I have build a prototype with a slide menu, meaning when you press the burger symbol, a side navigation pops up, where i have implemented an image at the bottom. That’s working fine, when I open and close the menu.Now the problem occurs when I use the second navigation option (the bottom navigation bar) on the home screen. This image, that I implemented in the side navigation, apears as a ghost image for some milliseconds on the next screen in presentation mode, while tabbing from “Home” to “Favorites”, from “Home” to “Cart” and from “Home” to “Profile”. I used smart animate to have smooth transitions, and everything works fine, beside that bottom nav bar with the ghost img appearing on the next interaction.I also want to keep that smart animation for that bottom nav bar, but the image only dissapers on the next frame (favorites, cart, profile) if i set it to instant, which is not i was looking for, because there is no

Hi everyone👋 I’m just starting out in UI/UX design and I have a question. I often notice that the sizes of my elements are not whole numbers. For example, instead of a square being 14px, it’s 14.67px. The spacing is also often uneven—like 25px on one side and 25.34px on the other. How can I fix this so that I always have whole values?

It was a setting in the type settings where you could automatically set the size of your type box to perfectly fit your existing type. its gone now. its slowing me down beyond belief. where is it????

I’m struggling with the topic of variants vs. booleans in relation to memory usage of hidden layers with the latter solution. The best answer on the most detailed thread I found about this being almost 3 years old, I wonder if there have been any news about this. I’m currently designing several products that heavily rely on tables. These tables are built using different sizes (sm, md, lg) of table cells. Each cell contains a “Content” nested component, with variants for a dozen content types (text, icon, button, ranking stars, etc.). Some of these content types rely on base components with dozens of variants (e.g., a Text element with configurations such as Title, Title + Subtitle, Title + Subtitle + Icon, Body, Body + Subtitle, etc.). The reason I’m using such a deep nesting of components is to allow for easier updates across all tables in the future. It’s driving me crazy. I just can’t find where “Constraints” is. I’ve seen countless of threads and youtube videos. Everyone says that it’s here: But there is just nothing for me. What’s happening?

I have many frames (hundreds) that this is affecting. The angle of the gradient isn’t correctly reflected until I change it to radial then back to linear. There’s also a third handle that I don’t think should be showing up in the linear form. I’m assuming this is a bug. Is there a better solution to fixing this rather than going through hundreds of frames by hand?

Hello, I’m looking for advice as when I export maps from Figjam into PDF, this then impacts it’s accessibility when using a screen reader as the readers treat the map as an image. Figjam is my preferred tool, however I need to ensure this is accessible when shared with 3rd parties. Does anyone have any experience or advice with how I can overcome this problem?

Hi I want to scroll images horizontally, but I dont want them to slide through, I want them to stabilise briefly prior to the next image but I dont know how to create this, any help much appreciated. 

Self explanatory title. I am currently working on a spec-sheet (non-figma based) and need to share the anatomy of the design library component. when showcasing color styles it often showcase the entire pagination, without explicitly showing the last item in the pagination, which to be honest is the most important one??. Is there a way to remove/tweak this?

I’m sending you this ticket because since the last update of Figma, I can’t use the desktop application on my macOS with Mojave operating system, and I don’t want to update it to the next version. Since I’ve been paying my subscription for years, I believe I have the right to have a desktop version of Figma that I can use from my work computer. I’m not sure what the feature is but i’ve attached an image. Our developer said they enabled it in Dev Mode (not as a plugin) and now the lines show both in and out of dev mode all over the designed screen. It does not let me select and delete them, only drag them around. Please helpEdit: - Deleting the Frame gets rid of them- Copy / Pasting the frame brings them back trying to avoid having to recreate all the frames it sits on top of. They don’t show up in the layers of the frame.

Hi all, I am building a plugin and having trouble rendering an HTML.Currently, I am trying to take a string html, render it to an image and take a screenshot of that image to display on Figma. I’ve tried it with a screenshot, base64, uint8array, but have found no success so far.My current process looks like this:Input: HTML string Server-side Processing: The HTML string is sent to server endpoint The HTML is rendered using puppeteer The screenshot is converted to either base64 string, png, or uint8array (Tried all three) The the image data is received in Figma A new image is created in Figma using figma.createImageAsync()  I am getting errors on step 2, and the error seems to be that puppeteer is not working properly in Figma plugin’s sandboxed environment. Has anyone had any luck generating screenshots from raw HTML string? Thank you!
