we have a client that wants us to transfer an entire project including all versions / libraries / comment threads over to their account. seems easy to do within an organisation - less so between organisations.

exporting the file and re-opening it and saving it on their side is not an option at this point.

any help greatly appreciated.

You definitely can transfer a project to a different organization, but it does require a few more steps. 


There are three steps to transfer a project:

  1. The recipient chooses a location for the project
  2. The sender makes a transfer request
  3. The recipient accepts the transfer request
     

The client will actually be the one to choose a location for it and initiate a transfer request. As the recipient of the transfer request, you’ll just need to accept. Full details on how to accomplish this is linked in each step above, but please let me know if you have any further questions.
