Hi,The addition of annotations and measurements to Design mode is such a great decision. However this is rendered almost useless if the annotations and measurements can’t be made visible to View Seat users.Often annotations are used for communication with a range of stakeholders, not just designers and developers. It’s not viable to upgrade every stakeholder to a Full or Dev seat to engage with this content.

It seems there is no plugin API feature for changing the order of component variants. There is some plugin that does it, but I was not able to find the trick how it is done. Can someone help with this? Manual sorting of 100+ options is a disaster.

Reference image attached: A shape, a frame and an auto-layout frame.Same style applied to all three objects, but the auto-layout frame behaves differently: the inner shadow effect overlays on top of the stroke. (I have tried using Outside-stroke as well, doesn’t change anything.)

Hi,I am trying to reorder collections so I don’t see the primitives I never use directly each time I want to map a variable. Is there a way currently to reorder them? From what I see, this was once an option has been removed

I've uploaded three fonts -- Galano Grotesque SemiBold, Medium, and Regular to my shared team-admin font uploads, but team members aren't able to use them without uploading the same fonts locally. What is the issue here and how do we resolve?

I am writing to request a manual review for the Figma Education plan. I am a teacher at Sundarammal School in India, but the automated verification system is blocking my application. My school does not provide official email addresses or custom domains to its teaching staff. Consequently, I must register using my personal email address: [redacted by moderator to remove personal information].To verify my active status, I have attached a clear photograph of my official, physical School ID Card for the current 2026–2027 academic year. It displays my full professional name, Arun Krishnan R, along with the institutional stamp. Please manually review my attached credentials so I can unlock Figma Professional features for my classroom setup.Thank you for your time and assistance.Best regards,Arun Krishnan R[attachment redacted by moderator to remove personal information]

When i use figma on web at tablet breakpoint on Safari in iPad  the left side panel’s nav item text color are blue, this is also inconsistently rendered on the UI. Not impacting usability but reporting just in case

Hi team,We've been with Figma for many years and truly value the partnership, so we're hoping you can help us get this sorted quickly.  We have sent 3 other tickets this last week attempting to resolve this with no response.  Our account is currently locked for non-payment, and we have an issue with the invoice. There is an added charge of $120 for 10,000 AI credits that we never signed up for and haven't used. We'd like that removed before we settle up.Here's what we're asking:1. Please remove the $120 AI credits charge, since it wasn't something we opted into or used.  Please remove for the future as well.  2. Please unlock our account today so our team can keep working.3. If possible, we'd appreciate a short grace period (about a week) to submit the corrected payment. We can have it resolved later this week, and no later than next Wednesday. As soon as that AI credits charge is off the invoice, we're ready to pay soon.  We'd appreciate a reply today so we can close this out together.

Hello Figma Support,I am the owner of two Figma Design files, but both files are stuck in View only mode. The "View only" button is greyed out.My account appears as "owner" in the Share dialog.Affected files:- ProDesign. Обучение- Фирма "Уровень"The issue happens in both Figma Desktop and Chrome.I have already reset Figma and restarted the app.My Starter team has 1 folder, there is no "Locked" label or warning banner, and the Team folder contains only 2 files. The affected files appear in Recents but are not in Drafts or in the visible Team folder.Figma AI Support suggested that my editing seat or the underlying file location may be the problem.Could you please check my account's editing seat and the actual location of these files and restore my editing access?Thank you.

Hello,I have a problem with verifying my education plan. I have send al the correct information towards SheerID. The first time they denied it so I sent in even more proof of me being a student, but they never send me an email after that.Today I received an email from Figma that my education plan will expire in 3 days, meanwhile I still didn't receive anything from SheerID regarding the matter.I then decided to do the verification protocol all over again, but again I have not received anything from SheerID after submitting my proof, so I am a bit lost. I would really like to be able to still use my figma account, since it has a lot of inportant files on it and I am a grad student in the creative sector so I will be needing it a lot! Hope this can be fixed in time :)

Hello,We are trying to use a Figma Make prototype for user testing. Unfortunately, it is asking the folks we are testing with to create an account and sign in to view and use the prototype. This is too much friction for a testing session. Is there any way to share Figma Make prototypes with others without the need for them to log in?We’ve set share settings to “Anyone with password”, but they get an error screen after entering the password, unless they log into Figma.

Similar issues have been happening for a long time. Basically I start to randomly see things like a frame that was set to hug width suddenly become wider, or the content inside a layer suddenly shift.Sometimes it goes back to normal when I click into the layer. Sometimes clicking into it doesn’t help. Sometimes undo/redo fixes it, and sometimes even that doesn’t work. And I need to manually change it back. I never reported it before because I couldn’t figure out how to reliably reproduce the bug. But today I saw something even weirder, so I recorded a video. link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i2jXOSnPS3bkQPkFjjswPSZFPGhGpcov/view?usp=sharing My guess is this might be a regression from lots of recent feature releases. But honestly, when this keeps happening, it makes Figma feel less and less trustworthy. I really hope the team can look into it and fix them soon.

Hi Figma Team,I believe this rejection may have been applied to the wrong plugin or build. The feedback says that PDF Export Compressor | Free asks users to provide an OpenRouter API key and uses a BYOK AI flow. However, this plugin does not contain any AI functionality, OpenRouter integration, API-key input, or BYOK flow. The plugin exports the user's selected Figma content to PDF and performs PDF/image compression locally in the plugin using bundled libraries. Selected design content is not sent to OpenRouter or any AI provider.Plugin: PDF Export Compressor | FreePlugin ID: 1683483530315268529Could you please re-check the actual submitted plugin bundle/version and confirm whether this feedback was intended for this plugin?Thank you.

It is impossible to annotate a parent frame that has multiple frames in Figma. If an auto-layout frame is made up of 3 nested frames, we can press “Y” and annotate only the nested frames. We can’t click on the parent frame to annotate the entire frame. See attached screen recording for reference.Annotations are an important feature for the dev mode that Figma charges a bomb for. This simple annoyance ruins the user experience. Does anyone know an easy way to annotate the parent frame?

So normally in Figma Design its easy enough to sort but for whatever reason in Figma Sites I just can’t figure out why content scrolls over the sticky header. I’m really just playing around for a small website for a friend but I’ve now rebuilt it 3 times :D

This is a weird one…I have a component in a library that has variants for sizes, in order from smallest to biggest:Component: variant property order When I insert the component instance in a different Figma file, the order is screwed up, and the smallest option appears at the end: Instance: variant property orderFun part: This only happens if the instance is inserted in a different Figma file. If I insert the component instant (via the Assets tab) in the actual library it is in, this doesn’t happen. And yes, this is the published version of the component. We only found out because a designer asked us to fix the order, but on our side it looked good...

I give prompt and  i didn’t get ouput /preview. But my credit also get lose. what will do

I've always used the web version on my iPad. But after uploading my own font from my computer, I couldn't change the font at all on my iPad. I can't even access basic Google fonts anymore. I enter text, click on a font, but nothing happens. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Dear Figma Support Team, I am writing to inquire about the current support for color fonts in Figma. As a designer, I greatly appreciate the versatility and creative possibilities that color fonts bring to my work. I have recently been experimenting with various color font formats, such as OpenType-SVG and COLR/CPAL, which allow for intricate multi-colored typography. However, I have encountered some challenges when attempting to utilize these fonts within Figma’s design environment. It appears that Figma currently lacks full support for color fonts, as I have experienced difficulties with the proper rendering and editing of these fonts within the platform. It would be immensely beneficial if Figma could extend its capabilities to fully embrace color fonts, enabling designers like myself to fully explore the potential they offer. Color fonts have become increasingly popular, allowing for more expressive and engaging designs across various mediums. With their ability to incorporate vibr

Hi, I’m an admin on our organization account and I’m trying to get Code Connect UI working. I’ve gone through the steps to connect to our GitHub organization and the admins there have confirmed that Figma is authorized and we select a specific repository. But every time I select Connect components to code, the window shows the green (or blue) Connect to Github button. I’ve been through that process several times. It seems as if Figma is not recognizing the Github connection. I had another admin user (also file owner) of our Figma team try as well, and they had the same experience.

I cant download make file after my ai credits are gone. I took 20 dollar subscription and generated the code with credits, no i cant just download it. This is very unfair. The credits got exhausted in a day with just 5 screens I have created, wtf is this, how can you guys charge this much. The results were very poor, had to iterate many times to get results and i exhausted my ai credits along the way.Now let me fckin download whatever i have built atleast

I would like to know why Figma has not implemented thew ability to add auto layout to sections. There are a LOT of previous requests for this (Including from me). It would add so many benefits to file organization: drag to organize screens and journeys, margin controls, hug to fit (Vertically and horizontally), and more!Figma Admins: Please let us know why this functionality hasn't been added and when it will be!

In design mode the layers sidebar just shows all information and allows for fluid horizontal and vertical scrolling. In dev mode, it all of a sudden just cuts off everything above a certain width.
