Feedback 1: since Figma Desktop App version 126.1.2 text styles picker always shows libraries of styles in collapsed state. It’s super annoying, since search doesn’t work until you un-collapse it.Feedback 2: please fix up/down arrow behavior on styles. Example: the text span has style “Body/Emphasized” → I press arrow up expecting it to switch to “Body/Emphasized” → instead Figma selects “Headline/Regular” (the style that just happened to be below the search box). I papercut myself on this multiple times every day for the past couple of months now, at least.Figma’s a great product, I love it, but bugs like these are a big let down for me. I believe basic features like text styles should be dogfooded more to remain best in class.

Hi, and apologies for posting a new question – it may well have been asked before. To be honest, I can’t be bothered to look it up. Besides, the more questions on a single topic, the better the chances of success.I’m not really sure how or what to write here, so I’ll just set out my ideas and suggestions – things I keep coming back to whilst working in Figma. Feature request: Linked Component StatesIt would be useful to have a simple way to link the states of different component instances.Currently, if several components need to react to the same interaction, this can require variables, multiple actions, conditions, or additional prototype logic.I would like to be able to connect one component instance to another and define how the second component should react when the state of the first one changes. For example:DropdownDefault → Opencould automatically trigger:BackdropHidden → Visibleand:HeaderDefault → Dropdown ActiveThe relationship could work as a simple dependency:When Component A

Auto Layout handles resizing well, but sometimes resizing is not enough — the component itself needs to change. For example: Width > 1200px → Desktop Navigation Width 768–1200px → Tablet Navigation Width < 768px → Mobile Navigation Ideally, we could define breakpoint rules d

I’m trying to publish a Figma plugin using my account.During the publishing process, Figma asked me to enable two-factor authentication. I have already enabled 2FA, logged out, logged back into the Figma desktop app, and completed the 2FA verification successfully. However, the plugin publishing page still shows this message:“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”I emailed support@figma.com, but received an automatic reply saying Starter and Education accounts should post in the Support Forum.Could a Figma Support Specialist please help verify my account and unblock plugin publishing?

I'm using Apple emoji that's been flattened in Figma. Normally, when exported as PNG/JPEG, it shows up fine in the output. Why isn't it working now? The emoji does appear in the preview window, but once I export it, it's gone. Please help fix this issue, thank you.

Hello Figma team,I'm an admin of the organization "Webugol". Our other admin submitted a support request (ticket #2148737) to downgrade our organization from the Organization plan to the Professional plan. This is time-sensitive: our annual renewal invoice was issued on September 23 and is still unpaid. We'd like it to be voided and replaced with a Professional plan subscription. We also paid a smaller invoice for prorated Organization seats and asked for that amount to be applied as credit toward the Professional plan.We haven't received a reply yet. Could a moderator please add a note to our ticket so a billing agent can pick it up as soon as possible? Please don't remove our organization or files until the migration is confirmed.Thank you!

Feature Request: Batch Individual Auto LayoutApply Auto Layout to multiple selected items as individual frames rather than grouping them into a single parent frame. Current Format: Pressing Shift + A or selecting "Add Auto Layout" with multiple items selected automatically nests all items into one new Auto Layout frame. Proposed Enhancement: Introduce a modifier key (e.g., Shift + Alt + A) or a toggle in the Auto Layout panel that allows users to "Apply individually." This would wrap each selected layer in its own independent Auto Layout frame simultaneously. Benefits: Massively speeds up workflow: Eliminates the need to manually wrap 10+ items one by one. Maintains Layer Hierarchy: Prevents accidental nesting and unnecessary "Frame 1, Frame 2" group structures. Consistency: Makes it easier to apply uniform padding and alignment settings across different UI elements at once.

When will you finally add Russian to the Figma interface? It’s been more than 5 years since I started using your product, and I’d like to see all the menus translated into Russian. Why can’t you simply create a translation in the same DeepSeek and add a separate option in the menu to select Russian? Constantly having to keep English in your head is, well, honestly not a great pleasure—just like forcing Americans to speak Chinese, even though for some reason it [Chinese] is present in the interface. Finally add Russian. Are you Russophobes or something? Well, then we’ll go to Pixso and work there, since you simply don’t value the Russian community.

A bit meta, but found a bug in the Forum here 😅The emoji picker gets overlapped with the reply input:...also, it would be a nice-to-have feature to have a search in the picker.

My team mate is having an issue where the Figma prototype link is showing as black or flashing black and white when they open the link. Other team mates do not have this issue. Can someone help us figure out why?

This started happening for our team around the time folders were rolled out in Figma. Despite knowing that a file exists, it will not pull up when searched. Once a team member manually finds the file, it will show up in the search.

Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with Figma Motion Beta on iPhone. The exact same prototype and shared link were working normally on my iPhone yesterday, but today the Motion animations no longer work on iPhone. The prototype still works correctly on desktop.I have already tested Safari, Private/Incognito mode, and another simple Motion Beta prototype. The same issue occurs with all of them on iPhone, while they work correctly on desktop.I haven’t changed anything in the prototype since it was working yesterday.

Instances cannot be dragged, normal elements work like i show using the text field. However Instances needs to be manually inputted through the inspector panel to the right. Very frustrating.Attachment is a recording showing the bug.Tried restarting, updating. Nothing works, this started happening around Juli/August.

The Figma Education plan no longer allows uploading fonts, but fonts that are already uploaded stay present. Even if we can’t upload new ones, we are no longer able to manage our previous ones.

FigJam issue. When adding a next step in a flow chart, using the arrow buttons, the next step is not created properly. The text is invisible and the box is not showing on the screen after clicking on the canvas. The new box is not behind the section either. It does not happen every time, but when it starts it persists for that arrown on that box.

Over the past few days, changes made to components in my primary Design System file are no longer syncing correctly to my separate Product Design file. When I update a component in the design system library and accept/publish the changes, the instances in my main design file either fail to render the updates or show visual glitches.Since this workflow worked fine previously, I suspect this might be a recent bug with library synchronization. Could you please help investigate or suggest a fix?

Hello!Managing component documentation in Figma can be a very manual and repetitive process, this becomes a pain when components evolve and libraries scale. So I built Compdoc, a Figma plugin that makes it easier to add and manage documentation for your components, including usage, accessibility, content, and AI guidance. Why it matters: Structured fields make docs actually useful  Export/import your docs as JSON Page-level filtering so you're not loading 500 components when you just want to document 20 As a bonus, better component context means AI tools can actually use your design system effectively I tested it on our design systems at work and it saved a ton of time. Would love to hear what other design system folks on what's missing. Here's the link: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1683800404228272079/compdoc

Hi Figma community,I’m working on a public date conversion tool at dateconvertersa.com that helps Arabic-speaking users switch between Hijri and Gregorian dates. The logic is handled in code, but the UI/UX side is what I’m trying to get right in Figma.I’m designing a date picker component that needs to: Support both Hijri and Gregorian calendars Work in RTL Arabic and LTR English Handle mobile viewports cleanly Show clear month/year navigation without clutter Optionally allow a quick toggle between the two calendars I’m struggling with how to structure the component set and variants in Figma. Should I use separate components for each calendar, or one component with variants? How do you handle RTL mirroring for date pickers? Any tips for keeping the layout clean when the two calendar systems have different month lengths and names?Would love to see examples or component structures from anyone who has designed for bilingual or RTL date inputs. Thanks!

I have an enquiry would like to know for this case. Lets say i have 10 design projects in my figma account. but developer wants to use claude or codex to access the one of the projects and requested me for permission. but i am not sure if im wrong, from what i know i cannot give them my personal token access since they can see all 10 files in my account.and i cannot give them my login access. is there any other way around this to let them access a particular file safely in professional plan or do i need to upgrade to org plan to do this.  if you could explain the process it would be great for clarification.

Hi Figma Team,I am writing to suggest adding Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) as one of the supported interface languages in Figma.Indonesia has a rapidly growing design community, with thousands of UI/UX designers, students, and professionals relying on Figma daily. Design and digital arts (such as DKV - Visual Communication Design) are now widely taught across vocational schools and universities, where UI/UX design is a core part of the curriculum. With a population of over 270 million people and a booming tech ecosystem, providing Indonesian language support would significantly reduce the barrier to entry for local students, educators, and emerging talent. This small change could have a massive impact on empowering the next generation of Indonesian creators and integrating them into the global design industry. We would love to see Bahasa Indonesia supported in Figma! Thank you for your hard work and for continuously listening to the community.Best regards,

Hi Figma Team,I am a UI/UX designer based in Chongqing, China, and a dedicated Figma user. I am writing to share some feedback regarding the component workflow, specifically concerning icon replacement. The Current Challenge:For example, when I create a button component containing an icon, replacing that icon requires me to first set up an entire icon library, and then swap the instance from that library. While functional, this process adds unnecessary friction and steps to a very common task.My Suggestion:I suggest keeping the existing swap method, but adding an alternative: allowing users to directly paste an external SVG (e.g., from the clipboard) into a component instance to replace the icon. This would significantly streamline the workflow and save designers valuable time.I believe this improvement would greatly enhance the user experience for many designers. I’d be happy to provide more context or a quick screen recording if needed. Thank you for your time and for continuously imp

Adobe Fonts and SandollCloud fonts suddenly stopped appearing in Figma on Windows. The issue started today. Everything was working normally until yesterday.Current behavior:Adobe Fonts are visible and usable in Microsoft PowerPoint, but completely missing in Figma.  I ran into a font issue while working with MCP use_figma and wanted to share it here. I have a font installed on my system (Pretendard) that works perfectly fine in the Figma UI — it shows up as "Installed by you" in the font picker. However, it's completely invisible to the Plugin API when running through MCP use_figma. listAvailableFontsAsync() returns around 7,600 fonts, but none of them are locally installed ones. It seems to only return Google Fonts.loadFontAsync() also fails, and trying to appendChild a component instance that contains text using the font throws a font load error — even into a non-auto-layout frame. Steps to Reproduce 1. Install a local font on your system (I tried both ~/Library/Fonts/ and /Library/Fonts/ on macOS) 2. Confirm the font shows up normally in the Figma UI 3. Run the following via MCP use_figma: const fonts = await figma.listAvailableFontsAsync(); const result = fonts.filter(f => f.fontName.family === "Pretendard"); return result.length; // 0 awa
