Hi Figma Team,I believe this rejection may have been applied to the wrong plugin or build. The feedback says that PDF Export Compressor | Free asks users to provide an OpenRouter API key and uses a BYOK AI flow. However, this plugin does not contain any AI functionality, OpenRouter integration, API-key input, or BYOK flow. The plugin exports the user's selected Figma content to PDF and performs PDF/image compression locally in the plugin using bundled libraries. Selected design content is not sent to OpenRouter or any AI provider.Plugin: PDF Export Compressor | FreePlugin ID: 1683483530315268529Could you please re-check the actual submitted plugin bundle/version and confirm whether this feedback was intended for this plugin?Thank you.

It is impossible to annotate a parent frame that has multiple frames in Figma. If an auto-layout frame is made up of 3 nested frames, we can press “Y” and annotate only the nested frames. We can’t click on the parent frame to annotate the entire frame. See attached screen recording for reference.Annotations are an important feature for the dev mode that Figma charges a bomb for. This simple annoyance ruins the user experience. Does anyone know an easy way to annotate the parent frame?

So normally in Figma Design its easy enough to sort but for whatever reason in Figma Sites I just can’t figure out why content scrolls over the sticky header. I’m really just playing around for a small website for a friend but I’ve now rebuilt it 3 times :D

figma keeps on not accepting me as the education version while others in my class are accepted. I get this text “Your account has been succesfully activated. We hope to see you soon on the forum.” from figma forum comunnity but my edu status still won’t work

Hello, my team's project files have completely vanished from our account, which is severely impacting our active workflow and costing us money.I submitted a ticket on Thursday and already replied with the exact missing file URLs to help the engineering team locate the backend data logs. Since I am on a paid Professional Plan and this is an urgent block, could a community moderator please escalate ticket #2138453  internally to the technical support queue? Thank you.

Why is there no progress on my plugin review?

While establishing local variables for a dashboard with large-scale numbers, I’m finding that the value field does not support “,” (commas) as a character. This makes numbers beyond 3 digits much harder to read at a glance. It also breaks stylistic choices for typographic reasons. One solution that comes to mind is to have a global style mode for whether commas are auto-placed in numeric strings, either at the local variable stage for numbers or in type-setting options. This would reduce work on the user’s end for having to manually place every comma, and also ensure consistency from a calculation standpoint (so that Figma has an accurate number to reference in equations).

This is a weird one…I have a component in a library that has variants for sizes, in order from smallest to biggest:Component: variant property order When I insert the component instance in a different Figma file, the order is screwed up, and the smallest option appears at the end: Instance: variant property orderFun part: This only happens if the instance is inserted in a different Figma file. If I insert the component instant (via the Assets tab) in the actual library it is in, this doesn’t happen. And yes, this is the published version of the component. We only found out because a designer asked us to fix the order, but on our side it looked good...

SummaryI'd like to request a Plugin API method that allows plugins to visually highlight nodes on the canvas — similar to the hover highlight shown when hovering over a layer in the Layers panel — without modifying the document tree or populating the undo history.Use CaseIn the plugin I'm developing, there are several scenarios where I need to visually indicate specific nodes to the user:Previewing targets before modification — When a plugin operation will affect multiple nodes, I want to highlight all potential targets so the user can review what will be changed before confirming the action. Visual node discovery — My plugin UI lists objects that match certain criteria. When the user hovers over or clicks an item in the plugin UI, I want to highlight the corresponding node on the canvas so they can quickly locate it visually, especially in complex files with many layers.Current LimitationsSelection (figma.currentPage.selection) — This works as a basic indicator but overwrites the user

I’m experiencing a bug with stroke widths on some icons in my file. When I duplicate certain icons, their stroke width becomes smaller each time. For example, after duplicating an icon multiple times, the stroke visually keeps getting thinner and thinner.I can manually correct the stroke width value, but after reloading the file, the stroke width goes back to the previous incorrect value. The stroke width gets smaller with each duplication, and manual corrections do not persist after a file reload. This seems to happen only with some icons, not all of them.

I give prompt and  i didn’t get ouput /preview. But my credit also get lose. what will do

I’m currently on a higher education (University) account, but I don’t have access to Figma AI features like Remove Background, Make Designs / Vectorize, or the AI toolbar. However, several of my classmates who are in the same university do have access to these features on their Figma accounts. Here is what I’ve checked so far: Verification Status: I confirmed my status via figma.com/education/apply, so my account is fully verified as higher education. Eligibility: According to the Figma AI Help Article, AI features are available for Education plans beyond K-12. Since I’m on a University plan, my account type should be eligible. Upgraded Team Space: I know that Education status allows you to upgrade team spaces to the Education plan to unlock perks. I am working inside a team that is upgraded to the Education plan, but the AI features are still missing there. Since my account is verified and the team is on “Edu” plan, is there a reason why I still don’t have access?

I've always used the web version on my iPad. But after uploading my own font from my computer, I couldn't change the font at all on my iPad. I can't even access basic Google fonts anymore. I enter text, click on a font, but nothing happens. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Is your prototype mode crashing your pc

Dear Figma Support Team, I am writing to inquire about the current support for color fonts in Figma. As a designer, I greatly appreciate the versatility and creative possibilities that color fonts bring to my work. I have recently been experimenting with various color font formats, such as OpenType-SVG and COLR/CPAL, which allow for intricate multi-colored typography. However, I have encountered some challenges when attempting to utilize these fonts within Figma’s design environment. It appears that Figma currently lacks full support for color fonts, as I have experienced difficulties with the proper rendering and editing of these fonts within the platform. It would be immensely beneficial if Figma could extend its capabilities to fully embrace color fonts, enabling designers like myself to fully explore the potential they offer. Color fonts have become increasingly popular, allowing for more expressive and engaging designs across various mediums. With their ability to incorporate vibr

Hi, I’m an admin on our organization account and I’m trying to get Code Connect UI working. I’ve gone through the steps to connect to our GitHub organization and the admins there have confirmed that Figma is authorized and we select a specific repository. But every time I select Connect components to code, the window shows the green (or blue) Connect to Github button. I’ve been through that process several times. It seems as if Figma is not recognizing the Github connection. I had another admin user (also file owner) of our Figma team try as well, and they had the same experience.

Hello Figma Support,I need help recovering a Figma file that appears to have disappeared completely from my account/workspace.The file was previously available at this link:[file link redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]File name: byorion.ruFile key: fbwYNnc4LBiZa7uBsMWomsThe file is no longer visible in my projects, drafts, or recent files, and most importantly, it is not present in Deleted files / Trash, so I have no way to restore it myself. This file contained important project work, and as far as I know, it was not intentionally permanently deleted.Could you please check whether the file still exists on Figma's side, including any server-side backups, version history, deleted-file records, or workspace activity, and help me restore it if possible? Please also let me know what happened to the file and whether it was deleted, moved, transferred to another workspace, or became inaccessible for another reason.I can provide any additional account, workspace, project, or ownership i

Enfim.

Every time I use bulleted text, the actual bullet point is a slightly indented and doesn’t perfectly align with the left margin. Are there any additional way to have greater control text indentation and control hanging bullets? Plug-ins? Thanks.

Add the feature where Live Interactions (prototypes) automatically load in the background when they’re part of the next slide, while we’re presenting. This will save valuable seconds (yes, seconds matter!) of waiting for a prototype to load on every slide.

Hi,could some one take a look at #2138075 . i

I cant download make file after my ai credits are gone. I took 20 dollar subscription and generated the code with credits, no i cant just download it. This is very unfair. The credits got exhausted in a day with just 5 screens I have created, wtf is this, how can you guys charge this much. The results were very poor, had to iterate many times to get results and i exhausted my ai credits along the way.Now let me fckin download whatever i have built atleast

I should be able to right-click on a variable selected in a property field and get an “Edit variable” option, just like there is for styles. It would save time during iteration.

Hello Figma Education Team,I recently received an email confirming that my student status has been verified and that I am eligible for the Figma Education plan. However, the Education plan is still not reflected on my Figma account (it’s on my education email address).I am attaching the verification email I received for your reference. Could you please look into this and help activate the Education plan on my account? Please let me know if you need any additional information or verification from my end.

On Friday 1:35AM, I received the email about my education plan would be expired after three days. Therefore, I started duplicating and moving files to a folder to save my works, and planned to transfer the ownership of the folder to another account which I am going to subscribe the Professional plan. However, a notification about the expiration of Education status appeared suddenly on the screen when I was moving my files to the folder. It did not provide me the exact time and date about the expiration of my Education plan, so I thought it counts 3 days starting from Friday and ends at the end of the Sunday. Now, I cannot continue saving my works and transfer them to my other account. I would like to ask for a solution so that I can continue saving and transferring my works.A notification suddenly appeared when I was moving my files to a folder for ownership transferThe latest email told me the education plan would expired in 3 days but it expired before the end of the Sunday
