I’m unable to locate a file that I didn’t delete. I still have the shared link, but I can’t access it, it says the design file may have been deleted, moved, or is unavailable.Please, I need help resolving this.

My Figma Education Plan was renewed about one month ago, and everything was working normally. However, today my plan suddenly changed to the Free plan even though the renewal date has not ended yet.Is there any usage limit on the Figma Education Plan? 

I have paid for a Professional Full Seat license at £14 a month and I am unable to toggle and use the Design tools bar at the bottom of the sheet on slides and edit a doc my colleague set up. I also can't use the tools when I set up my own slide. Does anyone have any ideas why this tool work? I contacted support with the problem at 5.30pm yesterday and have still not had a human response or useful Tech bot one. Thanks!

Hello,I'm trying to embed a figma-prototype into our application where I need to use the Embed API to track the movement of respondents through the prototype.I need to read PRESENTED_NODE_CHANGED and INITIAL_LOAD.I need to set last visited node after LOAD.I'm having trouble getting the Embed API to work for unlogged users (no figma session, no figma cookie).Your example on the website do that. Currently Figma only allows scrolling to objects within the same frame. This makes difficult to hyperlink to a particular location in a different frame. E.g. when making the main navigation menu in a website to navigate to specific headings in a different page

Hello community, Currently, when I create strokes icons, I use the tool corner radius to change independently each rounded corner. But if I reduce the size of my icon, the rounded corners remain the same and do not adjust. I would like to convert it into an anchor point with the wrists. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, so I've included an example. At the moment, I use copy as SVG and paste on the right click menu but maybe an other solution more convenient exist. How do you do it ?

im tryna type in a link but the alphabet a just automatically gets squared???it doesnt happen to any other alphabetsdoes anyone know how to fix this thanks

I have a suggestion I'd like to ask everyone's opinion on. Why don't we create a public module in the community to showcase outstanding works on a website similar to Be, so we don't have to open Be every time? Wouldn't that attract more users to Figma? Or we could livestream our Figma creation process, allowing junior designers to watch the work of advanced designers, and then split the revenue from the livestream like on YouTube. Haha, just a suggestion, but I think it's a pretty interesting idea.

When testing out the new grid inside components, I noticed that there is no option to hug the content vertically. We use instance swaps in things like footer for our designers and it’s not ideal for them to have to manually resize. Would be great if this new feature hugged, otherwise we can’t really use it in a lot of our components in our design system we thought it would be good for.

Depending on the art the ruler guides are displayed on top of, the inability to change the color of the guides is also an issue. They seem to be a low opacity, which doesn’t make any sense at all to me with how I use ruler guides. Ruler guides are toggled on and off as needed. Why would I want the ruler guides to be unobtrusive and almost impossible to see? This is a real accessibility issue for designers using the Figma app. Figma needs to implement real accessibility controls by letting us select the color of UI elements such as ruler guides.

i tried to re-verify my education plan tied to the email- (redacted by the moderator due to PII)its been a long time and im still not able to access the features an educational plan has. its just like using a free plan. im getting this ‘successfully verified’ message but its doing nothing. Hello Figma Team / Community,I’m facing an issue accessing my Figma account.I originally signed up using my previous company’s Google account (which is now suspended because the company has shut down). As a result, I no longer have access to that email address and can’t receive password reset or verification links.Now I’m stuck because: Figma only allows email changes through confirmation on the old (suspended) address. Support replies are also being sent to that same old email, so I can’t see any responses. I still have full proof of ownership of the account (workspace name and other info).Could someone from the Figma team please contact me privately so I can verify my identity and update my account to a new email?(For privacy reasons, I’m not sharing my old or new email publicly, but I can provide both directly to the support team.)Thank you for your help! 🙏

Figma has stopped remembering the file sorting preference: It now always defaults to ‘Last Modified’ at the beginning of session, no matter what your choice was. Can we have it back?This is now default at the beginning of every sessionI am these days having to open this dropdown ‘Sort By’ → Alphabetical 30 times a day. Last modified does not work for us since it shows us whole new set of files every time because how many people work and edit files daily; Alphabetical works better for us since we use numerical naming and then every file is correctly displayed in the intended order of product importance (home, registration, features, etc)

As a user that uses Grid for designing tables (header, rows). I would like the option to add new rows or columns and change the order of the rows/columns. when adding a new column/row to an existing populated table does not mean I want the row/column to be at the end of the grid. The current design options (drag and drop) make it very hard and frustrating to introduce edits to existing populated table designs.Design idea: add drag icon to enable rows/column drag (change order) in addition to the number order of the rows/columns

I’m using Figma Make for a website that has both English and Japanese text as translation toggle.But the Japanese version keeps showing this text “ web3.intro.p3 web3.intro.p3.bold web3.intro.p3.rest” randomly. Why’s that?

Currently in text styles, we can assign variables to nearly all values except for list spacing, is there a reason for this?
