Figma AI tool availability on the Education plan depends on your Education account type:

• Higher education and bootcamp users have access to AI tools, including Figma Make and the Figma agent. Education users receive 3,000 AI credits per month, and AI actions, including agent prompts, use these credits. Some AI features have limited availability even for eligible users. For example, visual search in the Figma editor isn’t available.
• K-12 and high school users don’t have access to AI tools, Figma Make, or Figma Sites.

If you’re in higher education or a bootcamp and can’t access Figma Make or Figma Sites, make sure you’ve reverified your education status through the updated verification process.

You can check your credits by opening the Main menu in a file you have edit access to and selecting AI balance.
