When sharing a Figma file with view-only access, the code panel is no longer visible to viewers. Additionally, I am facing a 10–20 second lag while working, which is slowing down the workflow. Both issues are making coordination much harder than before. @Gayani_S @Tom Reem – requesting your attention on this.

I understand how the Embed Kit allows us to embed a Figma Prototype within a webpage rendered inside a standard browser. The authentication is handled via Cookies within this browser (as far as my understanding goes). I would like to embed Figma Prototypes that are not necessarily public in my mobile app using e.g. a WebView. In this case, I can not access the cookies from the standard browser. Is there a way (ideally similar to the REST API OAuth flow) to obtain a Figma session within my WebView so users can view their prototypes there? Are there other (secure) workarounds to allow my users to view their (nonpublic) prototypes within my WebView?
Can there be a way so that we can copy / view the text and color values without unlinking the style definition? See the attachment, it would be very helpful if I could see the properties of this selected text , instead of only the style name ( Same for colors )
I’m not only one who facing the same issue but this getting really frustrated Figma randomly copies elements. The Select tool is buggyabout 20% of the elements can't be selected, even though they're not locked or hidden.
Hi, on a ComponentNode (inside a ComponentSetNode) the node property variantProperties has been deprecated (https://www.figma.com/plugin-docs/api/properties/nodes-variantproperties/) but is there no other way to get the active variant properties of a component node? The doc suggests use componentProperties instead but that node property does not exist on a component node inside a component set node.
Figma MCP server worked great with VS Code version 1.101.0 but in version 1.102.0, microsoft has moved MCP configuration to a new file named mcp.json instead of previous settings.json file. After doing all the configuration, the Figma MCP server tools do not show up under tools and the agent is unable to use Figma MCP server. Has anyone had any luck with this version? Can Figma team please validate and update documentation for Figma MCP Server setup?
I have been using Figma Make since last 3 days for my project. I sent a prompt after which it showed 10+ warning. I clicked on fix these warnings and it is taking forever to fix those warnings. Also, it is not taking any other prompt after this. Please help me out in this.
I’m currently working on a file that includes components from a design library. I see the button to “ignore autolayout” for any components that I add locally in the file, but it is not available for components from libraries. The only way to get it to apply it is to create a frame or group around the library component instance, add “autolayout” to that frame/group, and then ungroup. But then, I also can’t remove the “ignore autolayout.” This seems to be a bug.
