I’m not only one who facing the same issue but this getting really frustrated

Figma randomly copies elements.

The Select tool is buggyabout 20% of the elements can't be selected, even though they're not locked or hidden.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Figma has become unusable and terrible.

Hey @Bojan_Sandic — thanks for flagging this and for sharing the video. Sorry for the trouble — I see what you mean.

A couple of quick things to check:

  1. Does the issue persist on a different browser or device?
  2. From the video, it looks like canvas selection isn’t grabbing all elements — could it be related to nesting/layering? Are you able to select and copy all of the appropriate items using the left sidebar + the CTRL button instead?

If those don’t help, the best next step is to share file access with our Technical Support team. Please reach out with:

  • the link to this forum thread with your video
  • the link to your Figma Design file
  • edit access granted to support-share@figma.com

With that information, we’ll take a closer look and help get this sorted!

Hi @Bojan_Sandic , Celine from the Community Support team, I am working closely with Tom.

Our engineering team has released a fix for the issue. When you have a moment, could you please try refreshing or restarting Figma to see if that resolves it on your end?

Thank you for your patience, and let us know if the problem persists — we’re here to help!

Hey @Celine_  Everything works fine now, thanks for fast fix!

Glad to hear it’s working now! Thanks for letting us know 🙂

Copy paste tool does not work properly in many cases. I am unable to copy content and past into other obects or bound boxes as I previously could. Makes it difficult to work efficiently.

Hey @morgan young , thanks for flagging this! It may be related to a known bug we’re currently investigating. Would you mind submitting a quick report here so our team can look into it further your case? Submit a bug report here. Thank you!

@Celine_ , I’d like to add a couple of things to this list – one is to do with ‘crop’ in Fill > Image, copy and pasting into fill, and the other is an export issue. And a bonus bug…

Firstly, cropping an image within the Fill > Image – before this update if I selected ‘crop’ and tapped on my down or up arrow, the image would move within the crop space. Now when I do it, the drop down menu opens up again and I cannot move my image in the crop using my arrows, instead Figma thinks I want to change the fill to Tile or Fit! Please revert this option, it’s very annoying and counter effective.

Secondly, when I copy and paste multiple Images from one Fill to another object Fill (for example a gradient and a logo and a background image… all on one Fill), the order of these change. Why?

Thirdly, the export issue is to do with Figma introducing rogue pixels to my exports – when I first noticed this about a year ago, it was due to the positioning including decimal numbers. Since then those decimal pixels have been removed from my designs and all was working well. Three days ago however when exporting I noticed rogue pixels were being added to my export. For example I export an asset at 1200w, it’s now coming out as 1201w! No ideas why. My components have been air-tight for a year and were working fine, now the exports are playing up.

Also, finally (and this is the bonus ongoing bug) who wants to design in decimals anyway!? Can Figma remove this option entirely? Yes, I have ‘snap to pixel grid’ enabled, but this doesn’t eradicate decimals!
