Let us know what would make Figma better for you.

Thank you Figma for releasing the Grid mode in auto layout. The problem I’ve faced is that I can’t set the height of the grid to Hug mode.
Give users the ability to set gaps between objects independently of one another, versus giving all gaps in an auto layout the same distance. For example, below is a component I am working on. I want the gap between the icons and their labels to be set to 4px, but I want the gap between the labels and the separator line to be 8px. Today, Figma does not allow gaps to be set independently, which, is unexpected and quite frustrating.
Pretty excited about the new layout grid option, but it would be cool to adjust columns/rows count on component instance. That way we can come up with flexible placeholder components for table and form rows, where we have baseline component set up, and by changing, let’s say columns count on such component instance - add or remove nested components, swap them with other basic components, such as text, input, label, and span them to the desired amount
The new hidden sticky feature is cool, but the implementation of the UI is not good. Multiple people on our team had issues using it, the fact that there is a sentence explaining what the X button does a great job at showing how unintuitive the UI is. Also it is overly click specific, you have to click the link to claim, then again to open, then again in the text box. It’s very cumbersome. A single click should do all of that. Also the Hide/Show buttons look unstyled and out of place. Also you should add the ability to share all hidden stickys - either my own or everyone’s. That way we don’t have to open each and every sticky note manually to show them. It would be nice to select an area of the screen and have it show as a bulk action.
Why if you can make something like this, you cant make same grid in layout panel? you dont need wrap only for horizontal, you have to make it for vertical to, or just for grid, or both
I wish it could have the private mode, not necessarily for main files but for branches at least. The collaboration is great in Figma, but I sometimes just need some space and privacy. Even turning on hiding the cursors, I still feel distracted and uncomfortable when someone is watching me work. I tried using the branch to create my own working space, but the same team members can still access all branches. Hope can see some sort of private mode in Figma.
Hey, first off — I LOVE this feature! 🔥 💯 🔥 Secondly, Im trying FigJam out on an iPad with the pen and would really need a eraser tool to be able to quickly remove scribbles. Preferably enabled with a modifier key. My thinking is; Have the pen selected Press modifier key (maybe alt) to activate eraser Release modifier key and go back to pen tool
People have asking such a thing for ages… It would make our design workflow way easier…
For years, I’ve been saying that frames (and maybe even groups) need a Click Through property. Now that we have not only Auto Layout but also grids, the outer frame essentially loses its priority in terms of click interaction. Yes, sometimes you need to select it to tweak certain settings, but in practice, the priority shifts toward the content inside the auto layout or grid — that’s what we need fast access to: adding elements, editing tags/buttons/descriptors/cards, etc.In this context, an “autolayouted” frame should, either automatically or manually, become a kind of meta-frame — a container that merely wraps and defines the behavior for the inner content, but is no longer treated as content itself.
Dear Figma Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share a suggestion for a potential feature enhancement in the Figma design tool that I believe would greatly benefit its users, including myself. As an active user of Figma, I have frequently encountered scenarios where precise alignment of objects is essential for achieving desired design outcomes. However, aligning multiple objects based on a single master reference point remains a challenge within the current feature set of Figma. To address this, I propose the implementation of a “Master Selection” feature in Figma. This feature would enable users to designate a specific object as the master reference point for alignment operations. When aligning other objects using Figma’s alignment tools, they would automatically align relative to the designated master object. Key aspects of this proposed feature include: User-defined Master Object: Users would have the flexibility to designate any object within their design as
First of all, love all the new updates. Figma Sites is just crazyy. There are few things which are just so better compared to Framer. Especially the parallax, scroll transforms and hover animations, just excited so much properly. One thing that I would prefer to have overtime is the ability to add transition effects to custom cursors like Framer. For now if I add a custom cursor to a webpage, the movement is plain and boring. By implementing transition, I can make the move much more dynamic by introducing bouncy or easing effects. Kindly implement this in the upcoming feature updates! Thanks
Why doesn’t figma support multiple language versions? I hope that a multilingual version will be released. A Chinese version and a font viewer version are required. I have been using figma for three years and have always loved it.
There used to be a drag icon (like the one circled in the dark UI image) for Paragraph Spacing. Now the only way to adjust the spacing is to adjust the numbers manually. Please add the original functionality back.
Hey, I have built my own system for managing icons in our design system. I have one single page that looks as below: I wrote a small script that automatically adds icons from FontAwesome, flatten, rename and position is properly inside the page. I have a Icon component that have different sizes and uses the icons on the above page as instances: The problem I am facing is, eveytime I add a new Icon, I need to go back to the Icon component and add that Icon to the instances. I think there should be a way to automatically add all the components from a page as an instance without requiring manual intervention. Thanks
I am not loving the new UI in general, but after using it for a while there are two specific details that bug me enough to write this rant. The new UI re-organized some of the controls which makes it makes it harder to do simple things. Please consider the following suggestions: Move “Corner Radius” into the Layout section. I have no idea why corder radius is grouped with opacity in appearance when it needs to be next to the “Clip content” and dimensions options. When I adjust a corner radios, i am 100% of the time going to then immediately click “Clip layout” so I can see that change. In fact, I think If a corner radius is added to a frame, then clip content checkbox should be automatically checked so I don’t have to do it to see it. Move “Alignment” options to the “Layout” section. Y’all moved the alignment options and the spacing so far away that it is really annoying now anytime I am tiding up my files. After I go to Alignment to tidy up selected frames (located in the Position sec
Hej Figma, thanks for turning Figma into the next Paint app, BUT from my POV Figma is a UI Design Tool for Designing Web + App UI´s run UX tests to follow Prototypes prevent fuckups.nd last but but not least connect UI Designers und UI Dev more and let them speak with one tongue. (closing the gap between Design + Code → People)Thats why I have a mayor pain point with Figma, let me try to explain- You are adding more and more features changing Figma UI overnight. - Features started half baked and are not evolving like Variables, eehm Tokens.- You ignore Web standards (Layout-models, Margins?)- Adding more or less useless Features, and let the essential ones stay in a beta forever. - Tokens/Variables:You ignore W3C standards, everything is max half baked. The Variables-JSON file which is only possible to export using third party Plugins or Enterprise License using API is complete messed up an not useable in Token Workflows like Style Dictionary or Tailwind-Variables released in 2023 st
The problem with Figma file organization becomes a nightmare when you have a full design team and your company’s workflow is based on a 2-week release cycle. In every release, each designer produces 2–3 design files — you can imagine how many files pile up in Figma. It’s incredibly frustrating that Figma doesn’t offer an option to filter files by creator. This would make managing and finding files so much easier. What else would help: It would be amazing to have an assign feature — something like what Jira offers, where you can assign a member to a task/ticket.That way, it’s clear who is responsible for what. Honestly, that would be a game-changer.

It would be very convenient and intuitive, if users could skip a whole Folder/Row/Chapter of slides with a single click on the first slide of the row. Right now the Skip Slide command only hides the first slide of a row. Thanks :)
An animation product in Figma would let designers create complex interactions without using external tools like Lottie Creator. After Config 2025, it feels like it would fully centralize the design process in one place.
Hi Figma team,I’m aware there are plugins like Batch Styler, but I really miss the built-in Figma feature that used to let you view all fonts and text styles used in a file — and replace them in bulk. That native function was faster, more reliable, and didn’t require external tools or permissions. As someone who works in complex files and shared libraries, this feature was a key part of keeping typography consistent. Right now, it’s noticeably harder to audit and clean up styles across a project without it.Please consider bringing this back — it was one of Figma’s truly great quality-of-life features. Thanks so much!
Hi Figma team! It would be amazing if you could integrate a feature to generate wireframes, similar to Relume. I believe this addition would significantly enhance productivity and streamline the design process.
Hey everyone, I’m working on a video streaming app development and want to make sure the user experience is really smooth. What UI/UX design tips or best practices would you recommend for this kind of app?
Hexagonal Gridmake it possible to create grids like this by analogy with fill setting in the form of a patternAdd such an option as setting wrap for horizontal, vertical, and grid, or only for grid. At the moment you have wrap only for horizontal
