Report a Problem

I’m trying to merge changes back from a branch and I’m being prompted to resolve conflicts first. However when I hit “Resolve conflicts”, the dialog just closes and nothing happens. If I try again, I get the same screen with the same message so I’m unable to merge anything. Is this a known issue?

How to fix this issue ? it’s literally glitching or bug

I try to use the text shortcuts for making text bold etc. but only the underline option is blue and available in the text shortcuts. Other shortcuts in other tabs are available. I am using the German keyboard layout but also changing to US qwerty or other layouts does not work. I am on windows 11 and tried it both, inside the desktop and browser app.

I don’t know if this is a bug but why is there this random dark pill at the bottom of my canvas… it doesn’t do anything when I click it. I refreshed the page (I’m using Figma in my browser) and it disappears. But sometimes it comes back.

I’ve noticed that lately when there’s a shape with constraints (e.g.; sticking at the bottom of the page), it works when you drag and expand the frame but if you hit the “Resize to fit” button it won’t stick to the bottom. This is annoying because you need to adjust manually the corresponding shape to the right position after using the “Resize to fit” option. You can check it out in the video above 👆

Figma is starting to drive me insane, the amount of bugs is ridiculous, I usually find workarounds because I can’t wait for 6 months for something to get fixed, but I’VE HAD IT! You release some crap UI nobody likes, INSTEAD OF FIXING WHAT WE ARE ALREADY USING AND LOVING MOST OF TIHE TIME. Did Adobe infiltrate employees and they’re trying to sabotage you? Why the hell of all hells can’t I edit a color in a variant of an instance of a component, without all the other variants of that instance to change that color? I mean it works sometimes, but not always. In the same instance of the component I mean, not in different components. Sometimes it might work, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes some of the changes might work, sometimes none of them. And God forbid I try to change the stroke in a variant, that never works, all the strokes will be updated in all variants of that instance. I feel like I’m playing cups and balls near the Eiffel tower with a bunch of gypsies. Maybe I’ll find the ball

Hey guys, When I preview screens, or even when I send screens to my clients for feedback, I usually have a row of screens and I cycle through them, in preview mode, using the left/right arrows, or the arrows in the bottom center of the preview view. However, if I have a prototype in that page (2 or more screens linked with interactions), this feature seizes to function in the screens that are just regular screens, not prototypes. Like if I have 30 screens which are not prototypes, so there are no interactions between them, after I hit PRESENT, I can simply cycle through those screens using the arrow keys. As soon as I add an interaction between 2 screens, cycling between the rest of the screen, which don’t have any interactions between them, no longer works. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks, Chris

There is a small bug in Figma’s rendering engine - it happens frequently after zooming and panning. I took a screenshot and added a zoomed region to illustrate: If you look closely, you can see what appears to be an interpolation or rounding error running vertically across the entire screen. It’s not clear to me when this happens, but it happens frequently enough that this issue shouldn’t be difficult to reproduce - pan and zoom around a document for a minute or so, look closely and you will see it. The workaround is to simply zoom again, which I suppose causes a full rerendering. Of course, then you pan again a moment later, and the issue returns - zoom to fix it, and so on. I’m on a Windows 11 PC with the latest version of Chrome - but I tested in Firefox as well, and the bug occurs there too. (FYI, I already submitted this issue via the bug reporting form in the app, but it didn’t have an option to attach a screenshot.)

I am not able to change the width after new UI modifications. For example: from 4px to 8px

I have a background contrast issue with the new UI3 instance switcher: Could it take the container background color by default? (My icons are stored in another file)

I’ve clicked on the “Actions” button in the new menu bar in the new UI and the “All” tab is selected. I’ve searched for a component in a library, but the component isn’t being shown until I switch to the “Assets” tab. Is this expected? I would expect “All” to show results for all tabs. If it’s not a bug, then please note this is a pain point as it’s one extra click vs the old UI when I could click on the “Actions” button in the top nav and instantly search for components. Now I have to always click “Assets” first. As far as I can tell, there’s also not a shortcut for “Assets”.

Hi! I am a problem on my end, I woke up today with my project broken, button labels are misaligned (they are centered in my design system but are now aligned to the left), and I have also broken a bunch of columns in a report I am currently building (again the cell is aligned to the right in this case and they are aligned in the opposite direction in the file, basically the components have been changing the alignment property), another things is the content fit, that property is also broken. I have restarted my computer, cleared cookies, reloaded the file and nothing, this is a VERY frustrating experience as I am currently working with a large design system and using it in my project, imagine how many hours I have to spend right now to fix it, because the weird thing is that if I click twice the problem is fixed. I hope this description can help, and the issue can be resolved immediately.

Hey, I’ve got an issue with one of my projects regarding exceeding memory usage and I’ve been trying to use components as much as I can to reduce the file size but it’s not helping! I’ve been following the same logic for years now and haven’t seen this issue before. Is there a way of fixing this? What should I do?

I am calling a POST API for OAuth authentication which is blocked by the google chrome browser, looks like the issue is of site isolation/CORB. While the same request is being properly at the network level (checked in fiddler and postman).

1. Describe the bug/issue you’re running into? When I switch back to a tab running FigJam, sometimes my screen turns off / turns black for a second or so. It tends to happen when I haven’t viewed the tabs for at least a few minutes. 2. Are you able to consistently reproduce it? If so what are the steps? No, but it has happened at least once a day so far. 3. Share a screenshot, recording, console log, link to the file, etc. It seems to happen on every file I open in FigJam. 4. Is the issue only happening in desktop app or a specific browser , or both? So far I’ve only used FigJam in the browser on my laptop. 5. What OS/version and/or browser/version are you using? Chrome: Version 89.0.4389.82 (Official Build) (x86_64) MacOS Catalina, version 10.15.7

When I open an Asana Task with a table in the description in FigJam it converts the table in Asana as text and the table is lost.

Hi there! For my organization, I am an administrator of Figma. We have the Professional Team tier for our organization. Yesterday, I assigned a user a paid FigJam seat (this user does not have a Design seat). So far, this user is unable to create FigJam files. Another user in my organization has the same setup: no Design seat but does have a FigJam seat. This user can create and edit FigJam files without issues. See image below. First user is the already excisting user and the second screenshot is the new user. How can I ensure that this new user is also able to create FigJam files?

Hi all - I have a presentation in slides with an embedded prototype. Any prototyped modals do not appear in the audience view, so I have to stop mid-presentation to open the actual prototype to show. Unfortunately, that means my notes are separate from the prototype too, so it makes it difficult to keep my place. Has anyone figured out how to get modals to display in the audience view of slides? They show up on the presenter view, just not on the audience view. I apologize for all the blurring in my screenshot, but I wanted to show the two views without divulging confidential info.

Even that my AI icon appears on the toolbar, I am unable to use the search tool with images, as this option does not appear to me. Is anyone having this kind of trouble? 🤔

Hey, I find the compare changes to previous versions incredibly valuable BUT I’ve noticed some inconsistencies that holds me back with recommending that to the whole team 😉 If I inspect frames marked as Ready for dev in that new Overview page for developers the available history ends on the first event of marking that frame as Ready for dev BUT if I go into Compare changes mode of the very same frame directly from the design page (meaning not visiting that Overview page) I can see states since the frame got created PRIOR marking that frame as ready for dev the first time. I would be interested in being able to compare changes back to the creation of a frame no matter of how I access the comparison view.

Why is it that every once in a while, I will open my assets panel and every single asset group in every attached library is fully expanded? Why does Figma not put together menuing like they are run by UX people? 🤬 </rant>

I’m trying to use the bold/italic command in FigJam and it just doesn’t work. I have tried restarting Figam and my computer and neither worked. I have also tried both in shapes and in post its.

Hi! To cut to the chase, we have a main project where we’ve created our Design System using Local Variables. These Local Variables were then published as a library to use in other projects, however, when adding this library to another project, no collections show up in the Local Variables panel. I have checked and all variables have the “Hide from publishing” option disabled. To add insult to injury, they do actually show up in the Library panel but that’s it. Different Variable collections that were published: Same library added to another project: The Local Variables panel is empty but somehow the project has access to modes, even if the variables themselves are not available anywhere. What can we do?

My team is having some problems pulling some components out of the library. It is not all components, though. We get the following error: “Unable to load. Something went wrong. Try closing this window and reselecting the component.” Closing the window and reopening does NOT fix the problem. I have done to following so far to try and fix the issue: Checked the component in the component file. No errors here. Republished the component. Did not fix the issue. Unpublished the entire library and republished. Did not fix the issue. Note: I was able to publish with no issues. I’m at a loss and not sure what to do.
