To help us figure out what's going on, could you let us know:
- Is this happening only in the Figma Desktop app, or in the browser, or both?
Let's try a few quick things to see if they help:
- Close any Figma tabs you're not currently working in.
- If you're using the browser: Force-quit your browser and then open Figma again in a fresh window.
- If you're using the desktop app: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and then restart it.
If you're still having trouble in the Desktop app after doing that, could you please try these steps?
- Completely uninstall the Figma app from your computer.
- Reinstall it using one of the download links under “Desktop app” on this page: https://www.figma.com/downloads/
If the issue is still there, please submit a support ticket through this form so we can take a closer look.
When you submit the ticket, please make sure to include:
- The email address for your Figma account
- A video recording of the issue (showing the full Figma screen) along with clear, step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the issue.
- If the issue only happens in a specific file, please send the file link.
