Hi!I just opened my Figma and my file is showing “You can`t access this resource” on the desktop app.I am owner of this file and could access it yesterday.Who can help me?

Hi Figma Team,I hope this email finds you well.I’m facing an urgent issue and would really appreciate your help. When my personal email ID was removed from the work Figma system, it seems that some important personal files were also deleted as a result. One critical file I'm trying to recover is titled "Portfolio New".Could you please check if there’s any way to restore this file or if it’s available in a backup? I would be very grateful for your support in resolving this as soon as possible.

While attempting to manage components for use in our Figma Slides Templates, we’ve found that you’re essentially unable to view the layers panel unless they are  moved into a slide, which then means this “components” slide is surfaced as a Slide Page Template.Steps to reproduce:Enter Design Mode Create a component with multiple variants defined (icons with multiple variants) Enter the Grid View Drag the Master Component with variants off a slide into the stage. Notice the Layers panel disappears.Expected behavior:I should be able to house master components, variants, etc without publishing them. Ideally this is a self contained canvas for organizational purposes, but even if they simply live on the stage, these layers should behave like all layers regardless of context. The Layers panel should appear.

I’m encountering an issue where the content gets truncated after exporting to PDF.Adobe Acrobat displays the following error:“The dimensions of the page are out of range. Page content might be truncated.”Has anyone come across a similar issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

The prototype and design tab has disappeared and been replaced with Figma Slides - I really need to prototype what I am doing and create interactions - I am in a frame.

Hey guys,Yesterday the UI was completely changed. The options to create a component or mask were appearing above the  floating toolbar, the square of the FILL and STROKE were bigger, I remember seeing some sliders for opacity and something else, I think corner radius or whatever. Today these changes are gone. What in the world is going on? Are these bugs? Are you releasing things and then unreleasing things? I’m confused...

It’s getting frustrating and interrupting my work. I write a text but I can’t edit it anymore, Figma doesn’t allow. I can select it and delete inside it but I can’t write anything so I need to create a new text window and write all over again. This makes problems especially when I copy and paste element, or if I use material design kit, I can’t use it because I can’t rename the components. Very frustrating. Please look into it or tell me if I am missing something.

Hi all! Just wanted to have some clarify on Figma Sites different breakpoints. I’m currently creating different size breakpoints for my website.  I usually go with breakpoints that are something like:1600px > 1280px (Figma Preset) > 1024px > 800px > 360px Now that I’ve created these breakpoints, it appears that on published site it only shows one breakpoint size on different desktop computer screens, which is 1280px.  Doest the Figma Sites only have that screen breakpoint available on Beta version? Are the other desktop breakpoints useless? Since the design of the 1280px is too big for smaller laptops and too small for bigger desktops, how can I find a workaround for this? Thank you for advance.

I tried copying my design into Site. It looks good in this editor view with Gobold from Google Fonts: But there are still Missing Fonts notices: I replaced so many times but it could not show up in preview: Sorry that this is my private work so I cannot share the file, but I hope somebody could guide me to the solution, or explain what happens to the fonts in editor and in preview. I can describe the situation as detailed as you need.Do I need to do any extra steps to get these fonts showed up in my site?

The blue circle that appears every time there’s an library update keeps showing up, it tells me there’s updates from some years ago (which there’s not) and when I click it, it says “library updated” but the dot keeps appearing. This happen in all my layers and all my files.

This is painful that I cannot navigate when there are more tabs which overflows… Clicking “...” button on the nav bar’s left side is only let me showing “recently closed tabs” only… Any chance the desktop app can let the user (like me) to easily navigate tabs even those are hidden in small size of width of window?

I hope someone form the community support could send this post for developers. There are existing bugs that could break most plugins.Bug 1 - The plugin api can't be used to modify fills if there is a pattern fill. The following error message shows when setting the fill via `node.fills = fillsClone` :`in set_fills: Property "fills" failed validation: Invalid discriminator value. Expected 'SOLID' | 'GRADIENT_LINEAR' | 'GRADIENT_RADIAL' | 'GRADIENT_ANGULAR' | 'GRADIENT_DIAMOND' | 'IMAGE' | 'VIDEO' at [3].type`It seems that the validation of the internal `set_fills` is outdated, as it doesn't include the new type 'PATTERN'.This will break any plugin that modifies fills if there is a pattern fill among fills.  Bug 2 - The plugin api can't be used to modify fills if there is a video fill. Case 1 - Can't modify fills if there is an empty video fill (no video uploaded yet) :According to the type definitions for video paint : https://www.figma.com/plugin-docs/api/Paint/#videopaintThe `videoHash`

I have a hard time finding the corresponding Chinese fonts in Figma. I think fonts in other languages have similar problems. Can we add the ability for the software to read font names? The font name displayed on the current text font selection interfaceThe name of the font that should be displayed

I have a persistent issue that is driving me bonkers.  I have a design system (DS) doc that I include and use on all of our design files.  I recently updated some of the variables and re-published the document.  I then ran the update on the design file and it appeared to have updated however, one variable in particular says it still needs to be updated.  I have tried to update that single variable over and over but it never clears.  I can confirm the variable has been changed and I can use it in the design file but, as far as the system is concerned it still needs to be updated.  I have tried the following to clear it:Shut down Figma and restart Re-edit the variable and publish/update again Clear Figma cache (desktop)When I cleared the cache the issue was gone for a short bit of time but returned and I can’t clear it again.  I have included a screenshot of the variable in the update screen:Please help me resolve this as it is super distracting and frustrating.I should also note that if

the problem is with the colors interface, it's been a month now, but it still hasn't been fixed, what can I do???

THe issue seems to apply when i’m attaching either an image or a Figma component. Button to “send” the prompt is disabled. Removing the attached image or component makes the button functional again.

the drop shadow on my elements are very boxy and glitchy. it is creating an issue. Whenever I zoom, the dropshadows gets weird and boxy and when i export, they get exported in the same way like this

Hi Figma team, The component is 1195 × 560, but when exported as SVG the size becomes 1509 × 871. I’ve already verified that none of the elements inside the component use decimal values. Am I missing a configuration setting?  I’ve already seen a similar forum post and tried the suggested solutions without success:https://forum.figma.com/report-a-problem-6/svgs-are-exported-with-an-incorrect-size-37102?postid=151785#post151785Please help me fix this or let me know what I should do. Thank you.

A few months ago you released the feature to hold option to click and drag to tweak numbers in the color panel etc...This doesn’t work any more and the regular click + drag feature in the places where it’s always been possible seems a little flaky aswell.Edit: It was #19 in the little big updates from H2 2023.

Hi,I am trying to complete Stripe onboarding to sell community resources on Figma but it keeps giving me this error (attached)I’ve been chatting with customer support for the last few days and I was first told it could be an issue with the Postal Code (The UAE doesn’t have postal codes so we normally just use 00000). A couple days later I was told that the issue is because I need to submit it from a user account not a team account (keep in mind that this is a user account not a team account). Now I’ve finally been told that it’s because my country is not supported.I live in the United Arab Emirates and Stripe is supported here (https://stripe.com/ae/global). Figma’s articles say that it accepts paid resources from countries where Stripe is supported (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/12730712101783-Activate-your-Stripe-account).I've spent the past 11 months designing and building this resource to help Figma users streamline their workflow. As you can imagine, I’m really hoping a

When adding a new asset frame in Figma Buzz, it comes with a pre-baked drop shadow that can’t be removed since there’s no Effects panel. So when exporting for an instagram post, for example, it adds unnecessary space to the post.My only workaround is copying all my asset frames into a regular Figma design file to remove the drop shadows, and then exporting from that Figma design file.

The prototype looks fine on desktop, but when I view it on mobile, the fonts look strange and all the elements appear wavy or distorted.

Hey, when im starting prototype on my windows desctop app, my font looks normal , but when i am turning on the same file on android phone , or ios tablet the text appears distorted.Im using “Delight” fontThe font looks fine when I’m designing, but when I view the prototype, the text appears distorted or uses a different font entirely. I’ve tried clearing my cache, restarting Figma, and even reinstalling the font, but the problem persists.Has anyone else faced this issue before? Are there any specific settings I should check, or is there a workaround? I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this! Thanks in advance! 🙏
