So - first of All, the button appears for a second, and thenb just disappears. I tried to check it up on different accounts. 2nd of all - When looking troughout all figma community files, why not to let person open few sources like links in browser? - its really frustrating that sometimes faster way is to re-enter the tab and write the same input in search field

 I created this tooltip box (union of a rectangle and triangle). It’s set so that the text width adjusts according to the width of the tooltip box. I also want the size of the box to be adjustable, but am coming across 2 issues:Box height isn’t changing to accommodate the text line number increasing Triangle pointer doesn’t maintain same width I’m not sure what settings are needed to fix this. This is what I have currently:Autolayout of whole component. The text itself is set to fill/hug.

Hi! I’d like to have an information about The Figma education plan.I got it few weeks ago , and I think in the formular, there was a question about when I was gonna be gratuated.I put october 2025, cause was the planned date at the beginning, but I postponed my exam, and probably not gonna finish my school before middle of 2026, or end of 2026. How does it work in this case please? Do i have to ask to extend now? I’m scared than my figma access got cut in the middle of my year ^^ Thanks a lot!

Hi! I’m working on a prototype in Figma and could really use some help with two things:1. Clickable avatars with visible selection stateI’ve set up a screen where users can choose an avatar, and that choice correctly shows up later on the profile screen — so that part works!The problem: I want to visually indicate which avatar was selected (like showing a border around the chosen one, or lowering the opacity of the others). But the component already uses a variable to define which avatar is shown on the profile, so I can't figure out how to also show a visual selection state in the avatar grid at the same time.2. Showing typed name on profileI have a text input field where users can enter their name. When you type and press Enter, the name gets stored — that part works.But I don’t know how to show that input value under the profile photo on the profile page.I’m not sure which layer to bind to the variable, or how to display the entered name properly.Here’s my file if you want to check

Hey guys, Is there a way to switch back to the old Figma UI? The new one doesn’t do it for me. I’m sure there are people who like it, but personally, I prefer the previous Figma look and structure. I really dislike the current look and feel of the new UI, not to mention its structture, the previous version was a lot more organized and a lot cleaner and more intuitive. Thanks, Chris

I received this alert for the first time today since working in Slides. It will no longer allow me to publish templates with components included on my slides. See the screenshot of the error. I don’t know if this is a glitch, but yikes! This is not good. Is anyone else having this error?   

Hello everyone , i have problem with my text - when i transfer text it breaks off at the word level , what i should to do ?

This area of the interface is currently registering actions on mouse release, even when the press starts outside and the cursor is only moved into the area before releasing. As someone using a drawing tablet instead of a mouse, I find this quite frustrating, since it's easy to accidentally release the mouse within this area after adjusting the gap on the side.Details:I use a drawing tablet instead of a mouse. When adjusting the Gap (on the right side), I highlight the Gap field with the pen pointer, then quickly move the cursor back into the design area. If I perform the action quickly, the pointer often slides over the alignment adjustment area before being released. That’s how I discovered the issue. 

Now I can’t set a cover. I followed the instructions to move the artboard to the top-left corner, but it doesn’t work. Please bring back the feature to manually set an artboard as a cover — without it, files are no longer visually organized.

I am trying to export an artboard with a video and I don't see the 'Export as Video' option. I have placed a video on the artboard and enabled the 'Playing' setting in the Prototype tab. Could you please advise on how to export this as a video file?

how to check mail id of collaborators on figma in latest 2025 version??

I’m trying to switch my team to using Slides, but when they export the decks to PDF they are reporting huge file sizes (over 10MB) even when setting the quality to “low”. Even with very basic slides, the files are large, how can we get decks below 5MB without having to use a 3rd party compressor? And why are they so massive?

Hello my team is on a professional plan, it is possible to access to the new features releases at Config2025? I’m able to see AI -generate an image and such, Figma Draw, Figma Grid, however I’m not sure how I access Make, Website and Buzz as I understand until those are out of beta they will be available for full seat members, thank you. 

My file was randomly removed from figma. What is gthe best way to locate it and/or restore it into my files? This cost me an my team a decent amount of money and I would have to have lost it forever. PLEASE HELP!

I cant seem to find the option of "variable width strokes" in Figma draw. I created a stroke and went in the vector edit mode, I see all option except the “variable width stroke”. Did anyone else try using this?

I know Slides has been around for about 5 minutes, but I can’t figure this out. Is it possible to add button interactivity to Figma Slides - like having a ‘overview’ slide with links to individual slides later in the presentation? Right now, it seems to only support linear progression. Basically, I’m looking for way to add a “jump to this section” button that skips around the presentation.

In PPT, I just start with the template file. How would I recreate that in Figma so that every new slide starts clean with our design? I opened my Figma today and saw the announcements of what launched at Config. However I could not read most of it, as the text was cut off.I use lower resolution (1168x755) to make text bigger on my laptop (MacBook Pro 16”), so I presume this is why the popup content was truncated. I often see this issue on the web in general – a button falls outside the viewable UI, text gets cut off, etc. Usually I need to temporarily zoom out in order to be able to access the button or whatever (although this is not an acceptable solution). In Figma I tried using the usual hotkeys for zoom Cmd +/Cmd -, and nothing happened (I have since discovered it’s called “Interface Scale” and uses different hotkeys). There was also no way to scroll, resize, expand this modal popup. The only solution, I presumed, would have been to change my screen resolution and I am not prepared to do that.There is a reason I have my settings the way they are – because I need them that way.  I should not need to compromise my
