Hello,As a teacher at two interactive design schools, I use two edu accounts (I also have a basic personal account). One edu account per school, as their educational programs are not the same, with the appropriate email address. I therefore received a verification message for both schools. One of the accounts has been validated, but when I try to validate the second one, it tells me that I have already validated it, or that I have exceeded my verification limit (while still showing me the countdown and notification to verify it). How can I resolve this?

I made a component of Text with Switch On/Off with variants and use nested instance to call it. It is working fine in main component but when i create an instance it switch off but the frame remain same and my bottom text is not coming upwards, can anyone help me with that?

Is there a way to create a page with multiple prototypes and each of those prototypes have different permissions?Example:File 1 is accessible by the enterpriseWithin File 1 is Page 1 that contains 3 different prototypes. Those prototypes each have different starting points.Prototype 1 is intended to be shared with the internal team so no password is needed.Prototype 2 is intended to be shared with clients or users so it needs to have a public link with password protection.Prototype 3 is intended to be shared with other clients or users so it needs to have a public link with password protection.From what I understand, the prototype links all change when you change one of the permission settings and i’ve experimented with branching the file but that feels like an extra thing to keep track of. Am I missing anything?

I can’t seem to reset the overrides / changes I made to a component instance in Figma Slides. This is a missing link in what could be a USP feature against other presentation builder software!

We wrote stories and linked it to figma components(via copy link to selection cmd+L) within the stories. We then did branching and started rolling out incremental updates, but now on merging a branch, the pasted Figma links are taking the users to a cover page and not the component.Is this normal? How do you work when the components are getting incremental updates? 

Hi,I figured out a bizarre behavior when I try to rezise instance of component.It happens after last Figma’s update Figma Desktop App version 125.7.5 (some days ago).I will try to explain it, in a short way :Legacy, I created a component Text which wraps a child instance of component Rte. This Rte component was created for utilties reasons : it display generic text for a bunch of differents others components.The 2 components Text and Rte by default use an auto-layout root wrapper and a fixed width (280px) which is define inside a variable. When I use instances of these components, I override the resizing from Fixed to Fill, in order to get responsive behavior with different viewports width.It worked fine, before the update.Now when I reset an instance of component which is wrapped as a child inside a component (screenshot 1)  the resize property is set on Fixed width using my variable of 280px (screenshot 2). Ok until then.And when I want to override the resizing property of my instanc

I have a full Figma Design Project for an app. Multiple screens, all annotated, and want to bring it to figma make. I have done it but the results are horrible (icons missing, backend like login functions not working). Am I supposed to bring in the chat only one screen at the time? all the screen are responsive, made up with components and annotated to explain what each field should behave,  both design wise and backend wise.Anyone with the same problem, or with suggestions?  

Dear all,I was facing the same issue with variables in mobile prototypes. The variables are working fine on desktop, chrome or safari but not working on figma mobile app  or mobile browsers.I found out that it is caused by custom fonts that I used. The fonts are not available on mobile so It crashes. When I set the fonts to Inter, It is working fine.I saw that many people are struggling with this issue. I solved my problem by changing to default fonts, If you are facing the similar issue, try checking if you are using a font that is available on mobile phones.

Hi all, I am trying to create localised assets for my company and using Figma Buzz and the Bulk Create feature.I paste in the template I am working with into Figma Buzz, upload the xlsx file with the format as attached but when connecting the items and clicking “Create assets” it’s creating the assets but it’s just duplicating them. It’s not replacing the text as per the spreadsheet. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug? 

Hello Community, I’ve been trying to utilize the Material Icons within the content of my web designs on Figma. The issue is that whenever I insert a Material Icon into a line of text with a different font, the icon itself is not vertically aligned with the surrounding text. Instead of resting on the same bottom line, the icon is elevated above the rest of the text. Even when I try adjusting the line height of the icon individually, no changes are made to its vertical position. Has anyone been able to achieve the correct alignment when using Material Icons within lines of text? 

There is a hover effect I’m using in my regular design files, but when I try to do it in Figma Sites, I can’t seem to replicate it. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here’s a Loom link to a quick video walkthrough of my issue:

My students recently had to reverify their accounts and I noticed that our listing still reflects our outdated branding and location.We are listed as “Creative Academy (Woodstock)” - old name and location.Today we go by “Cape Town Creative Academy” and we reside in the Silo District, Cape Town. We moved in 2022 and decided to be the one and only Creative Academy, bound the mother city.Can this be updated somewhere?I’m the current IxD program coordinator (head of department) as of 2022. My predecessor may have initially registered us so I’m unsure where to look to make this update.Please advise and thank you!

Our institute, Venturetech Computer Education, is based in Sheikhupura, Punjab-Pakistan. We want to get listed for Figma Education verification so our students and instructors can benefit from Figma’s educational resources. What is the process, and are institutes outside major cities (like Sheikhupura) eligible for listing?* I already contact with “education@figma.com” but didn’t get any response.
