In Figma, how can I make the rounded part of the vectorized version of the "R" on the left of the below image more closed like the one on the right? 

Hi All, I understand this matter has been reported as fixed. However, I just moved around 30 files to trash and only ~ 10 appeared. They are no longer where they were moved from (“Recent”) either. Should I be concerned? It’s been approximately 10 minutes with various site/app refresh attempts/methods.

 I added a new change in Figma make, my credits got consumed but I do the see the change in the UI nor the version got updated nor can i see my last request in the chat history

I have 3 libraries. One is a component library, second is more complex components, and the third is page templates. I have separate design files that I import any changes from the libraries. The design files are where the prototype interactions live. The problem i have is that some of the interactions on specific components will consistently disappear every time i update the design file from any of the three libraries. Some component interactions will only sometimes disappear after an update. And some will always remain. Why is that? 

I’ve tried for about 2 hours to get this to work and maybe it’s me.But when I go under Settings and attempt to change the email, it confirms that an email was sent. I wait long minutes for Gmail, and then it comes through about 50% of the time. Then if I do manage to click on a message that’s not expired, I get an error message saying it’s expire, unable to execute because the email already exists, or from Figma giving me a string of numbers that doesn’t make any sense.I got back and froth, back and forth. I no longer have access to the previous account. I have no way to change it.

Not sure if this is a consequence of the updated auto layout behavior. If I have 2 children frames with widths set to fill inside an auto layout frame, the expectation is that their widths would be equal. If one of the children frames also has auto layout with padding, the widths become unequal. The child frame with padding becomes larger than the other, but the width of the content within it equals the width of the other child frame. If I enclose the child frame with padding within another auto layout frame without padding, the widths become equal again. It this a bug?Example file

I’m trying to push an update to a Figma Sites file I started a few weeks ago and continue encountering the same error over multiple days. I’ve tried:addressing all critical non-accessibility errors in the meantime I will work on any accessibility errors checking all video files are under 10MB and not using any non-Google fonts (as recommended in this post) checking my components (this post) all components live in the Figma Sites file directly rather than a separate Figma Design file I’ve read through a number of other posts related to this error and am at a loss, so let me know what I might be missing. In the future a more robust error message that specifies the cause or next steps would be appreciated. 

I have been trying to cancel my subscription and transfer to a new email account but I cant cancel and I cant change the email. The old one is no longer accessible, so i dont have access to the pro-plan despite paying for it. I have emailed them and all i get is a robot reply. Wtf figma. Horrible support.

Hello Figma Team,My original Figma account is currently suspended, and I urgently need to regain access because I have important ongoing work that I need to continue and update as soon as possible.Many of the files in the account are also shared files that I created and work on with other people. Because my account is suspended, I cannot access or continue working on them, and some of my collaborators are also unable to edit these files normally. We are all waiting for the account issue to be resolved so that we can continue our work.I have already been communicating with the team through Support Request #2038166 regarding the suspension, but I have not received any further update since August 14.I completely understand that the Support team may need time to review the case, but the suspension is now affecting active work and collaboration with other people. AI credits used up no output - I've tried couple times, and each time it has consumed AI credits and no produced any output and now I'm out of my credits. It did say a lot about plan and working on screens, but then after 15 or so minutes, it just goes back to prompt - i.e. no output and the prompt input is back in the input field and credits consumed. Now that means, I’m out of monthly allowance and it’s been a waste of time too. Seem like pushing people to pay for it even though the free plan exists. I’m quite disappointed In how that’s been working. It used to be fine and I’ve got good progress, but now seems broken. I do like the feature and would appreciate if you can make it work and provide me some credits to get my work done. 

I have a design where I would like to completely remove part of the border with an angled edge. I have tried using the pen tool to create a vector over the area I want to remove and then removing it using booleans but none of the options seem to work. I just want to erase part of it but can’t seem to find a simple way to do this. Can anyone tell me how I could achieve this look? This is what I am trying to achieve. The border connects all the way around and in this pic I have just used some white rectangles covering them to try to show you what I’m after. Any help would be much appreciated 🙂

Hello, I used to be on the Pro Figma plan and already had some files in my Team. One day, my account was switched back to the Free plan, and I noticed that I can no longer create new design files in my Drafts.Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I believe the Free plan still allows unlimited design files in Drafts, but I’m not sure what happened with my account. Has anyone experienced this before? 

i recently moved a design from projects to trash and now i cant seem to find it anywhere not even in the trash folder

I’m working on a small word-puzzle interface and have been thinking about how much information should be visible on the first screen. A typical puzzle can have the main challenge, instructions, input controls, feedback for correct or incorrect attempts, and sometimes things like hints, a progress indicator, or a history of previous attempts. Putting everything on one screen can make the layout feel crowded, but hiding too much can make the interaction less obvious.For example, with a Letter Boxed  styled interface, the central puzzle area needs to remain visually dominant while the surrounding controls still need to be easy to understand. Figma Mirror on the iOS app no longer updates in real time when I tap on a frame in the browser or desktop app.I can load a different artboard if I switch to a different file, but within the same file, Figma Mirror gets stuck on the first artboard I select. Before starting Mirror, I can see the artboard name update on the iOS app when I switch between artboards. However, once I start Mirror, it stops updating.

How other designers deal with ongoing requests from clients once a project is underway.I’ve found they tend to arrive through a mixture of email, WhatsApp, Slack etc, and keeping track of what’s actually outstanding can get messy pretty quickly.Do you use a particular tool/process for this or just manage it through messages?

Hi,I recently starting using the Figma Make. I am currently evaluating it using the Free version, however the usage of credits seems to have a bug.I was working on a screen from last week. I created the Version 1 using prompts. As I began updating it, I started noticing the usage of credits as well. Up until Version 2, it seemed fine.However, when I started working on Version 3, I noticed something unusual in my AI credits balance and its usage. I continued with the previously selected model (Gemini 3.1 Pro like selected in Version 2, Version 1 was with the default selected model).Firstly, it took more than 10-15 minutes to provide a feedback, and then the prompt returned (failed) without any result. Prior to sending the prompt, I had more than 80 credits (daily), however those credits were used but I did not get back any updated version or artifact. Hi. I logged into Figma yesterday to find that every single one of my files and projects are missing, my education status is not longer showing, and all of my teams are gone too. More than 5+ years of work, just gone. My account looks like it was reset, however the recents contain files which were public that I accessed months ago, but that it is. As in the screenshot, I am not a part of any team. I was on the Education plan too and I cannot see that team anymore, and I was not emailed about needing to re-verify either. I am not part of any team, and this is all that is in my Recents.Nothing is in the trash. I have not deleted everything—that would genuinely be crazy and I did not do that. No one else has access to my account. I am logged into my only Figma account. Partial names of files are not showing in the Search I had a file open in a new tab that also reloaded and I do not have access to that, even though it exists (see screenshot)  This is my file and I made and I cannot access

What’s going on?Figma UI has updated today and I can no longer access my variable library to apply values to things like padding or radius. Existing components are fine - menu still appears - but new items only have manual controls. That’s really annoying. Is it a bug?

Hey everyone,I need to vent because I’m genuinely at my wits' end with the recent updates. It feels like Figma is getting worse day by day, and basic, foundational features are being completely ruined or hidden in the name of "sleek redesigns."Out of nowhere today, the "Apply Variable" gear icons have completely vanished from my properties panels. I’m trying to link padding, gap spacing, and border radiuses to our design tokens, but the contextual hover icons just aren't appearing on the settings inputs anymore. Please fix this ASAP, Figma. Stop breaking core functionality for things we use every single minute of our workflows.😡
