Hi,I applied for Figma for Education for our school using our official school email/domain.The application has already been submitted, but I have not received approval yet. I wanted to ask:How long does verification usually take for a school? Is manual review required for school domains? If the domain is not automatically recognized, what should I do next?Our school is in Nepal, and we applied using the official school domain email.I would appreciate any guidance from others who have gone through the same process.Thanks.

[Figma Make + Supabase] 게시글이 새로고침하면 사라지고, 다른 기기에서 안 보여요 (Claude와 같이 해봐도 해결이 안 됐어요)제가 원하는 것학생자치회 통합 플랫폼을 만들고 있는데, 누군가 게시글을 올리면 그 글이 사라지지 않고 계속 저장되면서, 다른 사람이 다른 기기/브라우저로 접속했을 때도 똑같이 보이길 원해요. 지금은 새로고침하면 방금 올린 글이 사라지고, 다른 브라우저로 열면 그 글이 아예 안 보여요. 즉, 데이터가 여러 사람/기기 사이에서 공유되고 계속 남아있는 게 목표예요.지금까지 시도한 것Figma Make 설정에서 Supabase 계정을 연결했어요. Figma Make AI에게 "게시글을 슈퍼베이스에 저장하고 모든 페이지에서 공유되게 해달라"고 요청했어요. AI가 백엔드(서버 쪽 로직) 코드를 새로 짜줬고, "이제 Edge Function을 배포해야 한다"고 안내했어요. Figma Make 화면에 있는 배포 버튼을 눌렀는데 "배포할 코드가 없다"는 메시지가 나왔어요. 그래서 슈퍼베이스 대시보드에 직접 들어가서, Edge Function을 새로 만들고 AI가 짜준 코드를 그대로 복사해서 붙여넣고 배포까지 완료했어요. 그런데도 여전히 게시글이 새로고침하면 사라지고, 브라우저 콘솔에는 CORS(브라우저가 다른 주소로 요청 보낼 때 막히는 문제) 관련 에러가 계속 떠요. Claude(AI 챗봇)한테 상황을 계속 설명하면서 같이 시도했는데도 해결이 안 됐어요.궁금한 점Figma Make의 배포 버튼이 원래 자동으로 해줘야 하는 걸, 제가 슈퍼베이스에 직접 들어가서 수동으로 배포한 게 맞는 방법이었는지 잘 모르겠어요. 이렇게 수동으로 배포한 경우, Figma Make 쪽에서 추가로 다시 연결하거나 설정해줘야 하는 게 있는 건지 궁금해요. 비슷하게 "게시글이 저장 안 됨 + CORS 에러" 겪으신 분 있으면, 정확히 어떤 부분이 원인이었는지 알고 싶어요.

I’ve read Figma’s documentation, but I still don’t understand how a new developer becomes eligible to sell plugins through Figma Payments.My publishing form only offers the Community Free Resource License, and I can’t find any application form—or even a way to ask Figma Support about seller approval.Can I publish on behalf of a company, and may I handle subscriptions through my own payment system instead? In other words, does Figma want its 15% or not? 🙂

I have a header in my web application with a search icon. When the user clicks the icon, the search bar should expand from right to left.The problem is that the animation works, but the expanded width is incorrect. I've built this type of expanding search bar many times before and never ran into this issue, so it's strange that I can't figure out what's causing it now.I've already tried setting the constraints to Right + Top and Right + Bottom, but neither produces the expected behavior.P.S.: It works well when I manually expand it in header component, it’s just the prototype where it just doesn’t workComponent set Header Prototype 

 I really liked the new check design tool, but I believe I encountered a problem.When I find a color and try to replace it in side, it doesn't find the colors in my library. My design system is published and normal, it should appear, right?I've already selected it to just base it on my library, but it still doesn't find anything.I also noticed that the colors in the switch menu only appear if I create the color as a variable, but I should use it from the color styles library, right?Would you have to duplicate all colors as variables? it's not so practical if that's the solution. 

 I have a sidebar in my web application design, and I've created it as a component set with Expanded and Collapsed variants.  The issue I'm facing is that when I switch to the Collapsed variant in Prototype mode, it doesn't match the actual Collapsed variant defined in the component set.If you look closely in the image below, you'll notice that the Dashboard label is still visible in the prototype, even though the Collapsed variant in the component set doesn't contain any text. Am I missing a setting, or is this a bug? I've attached screenshots of both the component set and the prototype for reference.

I'm a design student in Russia IT TOP and would like to apply for the Figma Education plan. I know Figma doesn't currently offer paid plan upgrades to new customers in Russia, but I wanted to check if student verification is handled differently or if there's any exception process.I can provide my student ID and a link to my college's website as proof of enrollment.Could you let me know if this is possible, and what the next steps would be?

Hello everyone, I notice that Figma’s font picker includes the original Baloo font, not just Baloo 2.The font appears across multiple figma account and devices, so it seems to be a Figma-provided web font rather than a locally installed font. However, i couldn’t find official licencing information for the original Baloo. Google fonts currently lists Baloo 2 only, not the original Baloo. Could anyone help me, especially a figma staff to confirm:1. Is the original Baloo in figma’s font picker is oficially provided by figma, if so, is it licensed for commersial use? (Including branding and logos)2. Is there any official documentation confirming its license?Currently im using it for my university project that will also be included in my portfolio, so i’d like to make sure i’m using it correctly! Thankyou so much!

Hello! I am somewhat new designing stuff in Figma, and I have an issue with some animations.I animated a velocimeter in the Motion section to play just when clicking on it, but every time I open an overlay on the same page it triggers the animation to start all over again. I don’t really know how to stop it, and need some help because I couldn’t find any info about this issue.

The ProblemFigma's selection colours panel is one of my favourite features — select a frame, see every colour used inside it, click one and change it everywhere. It's fast, visual and incredibly useful.But it stops at colours.As a designer, I often find myself in situations where:- A client wants to change all button fill colours after 150 screens are designed- I notice some buttons have a corner radius of 13px instead of 12px — but finding them all takes forever- I inherited a messy file with inconsistent font sizes (14px, 15px, 16px scattered randomly) and no design system in place- I need to audit opacity values across a large file and fix the inconsistent onesRight now, the only tools available are:- **Selection colours** — colours only, no other properties- **Find/Replace** — text content only, not design properties- **Design Lint plugin** — flags issues but cannot batch-edit- **Variables** — only useful if you set them up from day oneNone of these solve the core problem: **there

Hi all,PDF.Link has been the most reliable plug in I’ve found for exporting for both hyperlinks AND page jumps. I’m running into an issue each time I try to export my 56 page document. I can export it in chunks but of course then the table of contents and page jumps will not work. After talking to chat it looked like the plug in was crashing because of how large the file may be. I scaled down all images and tried removing any empty frames or text boxes but I’m still running into the same issue. I can export this document into two parts which prooves there is not just one problem page causing the issue.  Can anyone help decipher what this error from PDF.Link means or how to fix this from crashing? Best,Alex

Hi all,I’m having trouble finding a reliable plug in that will allow interactive PDF export for both hyperlinks AND page jumps. Most of the plug ins I’ve tried either work for hyperlinks OR page jumps. Any suggestions? PDF. Link and Interactive PDF Export have been the best so far. However PDF.Link is not working on my larger file and Interactive PDF is now breaking ever hyperlink after exporting.Has anyone found a reliable plug in for this or found a work around? I’ve tried everything to prevent PDF.Link from crashing.

How can I escalate a ticket that was opened more than four days ago? How do I escalate it?We have the Enterprise license and therefore have a few questions. Even after sending several emails, we haven’t received any support. Our official contact person says he has left the company. The new contact person he gave us isn’t responding to any emails either. What can I do?

Anyway to declutter the right side panel by just removing the little titles before each button? Was looking for a setting in the Preferences Tab and wasn’t able to find anything.

I have set my plugin for review its been a week but there is not confirmation or anything no followback from the team im confused if they have even received my submission or not. Last time when I submitted the plugin it was very instantly followed back and published I dont know what is happening this time if the submission has been received or not if yes then there is still no update or followback mails to mail it go live 

Hey guys, I’m not even sure how to look this question up here. So apologies if it’s repeated.I recently started Figma, but I still use Photoshop as I’m more fluent at it, and slowly transferring my workflow (what can be transferrable) to figma.And one of those projects is using this shape in different contexts and sizes. Is there a way to make this on figma so i don’t have to manually grab each square and resize the lines every time? 

I’m experiencing a very strange and specific bug with the Layers panel visibility toggle. What happensI click the eye icon on any layer to hide it, this works normally. After that single click, if I simply hover the mouse over other layer names (not on their eye icons), those layers also turn off one by one. The only way to stop it is to click anywhere on the screen. It feels like the “click and drag to multi-toggle visibility” feature is getting stuck in the “button still held down” state after a normal click.It happens in every file (not file-specific).A friend checked on his machine and does not have this issue, so it appears to be local to my setup. When it startedI was working normally. I left the computer running for about 2 hours (no updates, no crashes, nothing unusual). Why animations start by their own, how to control them in prototype mode? I just wanted to create opening menu, but how - OK, placed animated menu component inside main screen, and then it starts to play indefinitely - I just expected simple “Pause at load” feature :/
