Holaa, estoy tomando un curso para aprender a usar Figma y hay un momento en el que me pide configurar una instancia que nombramos como menú, pero al clicar en la instancia, no me da las opciones de configuración que aparecen en la segunda imagen, alguien sabe que error cometí al crear la instancia para que a mi no me aparezca esa opción de configuración?

Hi! I manage a team of designers with the professional plan.I’m aware that starting March 18th, a limit will be enforced for the use of AI credits. What does this mean?- Will my users no longer be able to use AI credit-consuming features until the monthly reset?or- Will they be able to use more AI credits than expected, which will then be billed at the end of the month? If so, is there a way to prevent this and limit credit usage?

Figma Make has the ability to allow users to make unique pages. I’ve used this in several projects. When I duplicated project, the function disappears from the top toolbar. Why is this? How do I get it back?  

I’m trying to understand how to help my designers produce Figma Make files that use our design system components and standards.If we were to enable Figma MCP server for my org, would that allow designers to constrain Figma Make to only use our design system?Or would we need to use an npm package or Make Kits for that?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to implement a tab-based navigation layout in Figma Sites below my hero section. I created the tabs in Design Library with component variants for active states and enabled them in my Figma Sites, but I'm struggling to make each tab link to and display its specific content section.Currently, the variants change visually, but they don't dynamically switch the corresponding content for each tab.What is the best way to implement a working tab structure in Figma Sites so that each tab loads its respective content when clicked? Is there a recommended approach using anchors, components, or another workaround?Would appreciate any guidance from anyone who has implemented tabs successfully in Figma Sites. Thanks!

I have never met a Figma branch conflict that I could resolve 😥 Not one.I’ve read all of the relevant help center articles (including this potentially outdated one that focuses on conflicts) and I’ve watched video tutorials, but none of them provide enough information. I understand what conflicts are and why they need to be resolved, I’ve done it in other programs, but I can’t figure out Figma’s particular UI for this process.I need help understanding this window: Is anyone aware of... anything anywhere tha

If the team owner is no longer employed and the associated company email address has been permanently deactivated, what documentation would Figma Support require to authorize an ownership reassignment?

How can I restrict access to pooled AI credits? The documentation says this will be possible, but I am not seeing the option in the admin controls.We are planning to purchase additional monthly credits that would be available as a shared pool for our team. I want to allow only certain team members to use the pooled credits while keeping others limited to their normal individual credit allocations. I do not see any way to configure this in the admin controls.Is this a feature that will only become available once credit purchasing is fully rolled out? I would like to understand how to manage access before we begin paying for credits.

Hey everyone,This has been driving me (and apparently hundreds of others) crazy since 2021: there is STILL no native way to properly move or duplicate an entire page from one Figma file to another.Copy-paste or “Select All” destroys page background/grid/rulers, breaks prototypes, loses comments, turns library styles into local duplicates, and forgets locked/hidden layers. Duplicating the whole file then deleting pages is the only “workaround” — but it’s a nightmare with 50+ page files or design systems.I’m a fellow designer who’s fed up and seriously considering building a free Figma plugin called PagePort that would let you:Export any page (or batch multiple pages) with 100% fidelity (layers, auto-layout, constraints, page props, prototypes where possible) Import into any other open file in one click Choose Move (delete from source) or Copy Smart remapping for styles/variables/libraries + basic prototype r

So I had a Site already made (I’m the owner) and then I upgraded to an Education plan courtesy of my college. Suddenly I lost access to the editing features of the site? The Site had already been shared with my group members and they can’t edit either.I checked, and I’m still the owner of the file and all of my group members have “can edit” by their name. However, all of us have exclaimation marks by our names with the popup “An admin needs to update your seat so you can edit”. Am I not automatically an admin as an owner? I went into the admin settings on my project and there’s no way for me to grant myself edit access either. Frankly, this is ridiculous and poor design on Figma’s part.

I have some buttons that have a hover effect and in the prototype there is slight movement of the content. I checked the position of the content to be the same in both instances (default and hovered) in regards to the margins and in between items I applied a “while hovering” interaction with instant animation This also seems to happen in between separate screens of a prototype for text in a header component that doesn’t have animation applied or any other interaction. Anyone has any idea?

The error message above prompt says : Files that are too largelarge files break figma make but i have deleted some of those files and it still stock on same message 

Is everyone around here ever able to use Template styles in Figma Slides? EVERY time we paste a slide from another presentation, it creates a ‘new’ template so we end up with a dropdown full of slightly similar templates styles and it is impossible to delete them unless I switch every culprit style to the ‘main’ style. But doing usually changes things around so we just gave up trying to use them 😭 Here is a screenshot of the dropdown in most of our slide decks: 

Hi,We’ve added videos for a presentation. But all the videos are cutting short and playing 3 seconds instead of the added file (different lengths)The added videofiles are in .mov. We also tried mp4. But no go.Should’nt there be at least a Duration tab in the right hand toolbar?

We are facing an issue on Hand-Off file (Dev Mode):When we changed the token spacing name (ex: from Sm to Md) and publish DS library. The main component on Working file is updated but its instance in Dev Mode isn’t updated , the developers still see it Sm. How to deal with this problem?I don’t want to publish working file as a library. As you can see, I am unable to export a library I have made for a project to figma make and I am not able to select the library from figma make either since it’s not listed there.Which is strange, since I also have a free tier team, and the library published from there is available to select from the figma make chat box, but the libraries published from my pro tier team are not there. Please help me understand this system. Also where do I check how many tokens I have left for this month?

Hi, I am trying to link a card to a specific section in another page. Is that possible in Figma or is it a limitation? 

I have a prototype, interaction is:From main screen tap on icon > icon opens up an overlay which has a carousel (4 in the set), you can move left/right between the carousel, and there’s a ‘got it’ CTA on each one for closing. It’s all working fine, apart from if you tap outside of one of the interactions (ie. you hit the background of the modal, not the arrows or CTA), in which case, the overlay reverts to the first in the sequence, the width expands to fit the entire screen, and the ‘got it’ CTA no longer closes the overlay. You can run through the carousel again, but you can’t actually close it anymore.I have checked EVERYTHING I thought this could be, and nothing seems to be leading to this issue.

Hey Community. It’s my first question here, so lmk if this is the right approach/format.Here’s my use case:I have two icon component sets consisting of two sizes each I want to use the icons in a button component The icon instance inside the button component is exposed as nested instance I change the icon instance inside the button from checkmark to xClose When changing the button size, it resets the icon instance to the defaultI can’t set the icon instance inside the button as instance swap property either, because I’d have to do it for both icon sizes in both component variants, and then it still doesn’t persist when changing the size of the button component. Any clue if and how this can work inside Figma? I know simply sc

Context: I’m creating a prototype in Make and want to rebuild using Claude Code.  Currently I download the Make file code and put in the project file and have Claude review it there.  Or I copy the design for a specific screen and paste into a Figma design file and have Clause review via MCP.  I’ve tried using MCP to connect directly to Make file but that isn’t currently supported (from what I can tell) Question: Is there a better way to do this?

Hello Figma Community and Support Team,I am the IT Coordinator at Çözüm Koleji (a K-12 school in Turkey). I applied for the Figma Education plan for our school domain (cozum.k12.tr) about 12 days ago but haven't received any response or verification email.We are in the process of rolling out our centralized design environment. We currently use Microsoft A5, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud. We urgently need the Figma Enterprise features to set up SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning via Microsoft Entra ID, just like we did with our Canva integration.Without the education verification, we cannot proceed with a secure, centralized deployment for our K-12 students. Could a Figma staff member please look into our application or escalate this to the SheerID/Education team?
