I am developing an app that will be controlled by game controller. It works great on my MacOS Figma app and the iOS Figma app when I have an Xbox controller paired. On an Android device, the Xbox controller triggers events within the Figma app (e.g., B button exits out of prototype instead of triggering what I have wired into the prototype itself). Has anyone dealt with this?

Hi Figma community, I have a multiple checkboxes , about 16 multiple choices within a checkbox frame. and I want the checkbox frame to only allow one choice and if a user selects another choice, the checkbox chosen before goes back to “inactive” and the new choice to be “active” how do I do that without the tedious process. thank you.

I have received an email from UI3, but I have tried the following operations, but I cannot see the new interface: Log in again. Use the clear cache function in the help. Use the web version and try the privacy window. I hope to try the new UI3 soon, and I’m very much looking forward to it.

Is is called a canvas, as storyboard, or a frame in Figma?

[Introduction to Figci] A teammate, who was a designer, came up with the idea to solve some of the inconveniences experienced during collaboration with developers. When designers had to share updated design drafts with developers, they often needed to comment on or organize the changes, which could lead to communication issues. We wanted to find a way for developers to easily visualize these changes. In Git, code changes are highlighted in green or red, so everyone can see what has been added or deleted. Hi, I’m a designer and I’m authorized with a Figma student account. But when I create a project and share it to a developer, do I need to edit the permissions to “Can edit” to share it? Or can I just set it to “Can view” and share it? And then I share it to the developer, and the developer says in Figma Verification required / To edit this Education team file from, verify that you’re a student or educator. If I want to address the exposure of the above phrase, do I need to upgrade my account that created the design to a professional team account? Does the other developer need to upgrade their account information? I use a student account, and I’m not sure if I should upgrade. Does this mean I need to upgrade my account to a team account?

on mac m1 when starting an application, old projects are not loaded. Only skeleton is displayed. deleting the cache and reinstalling the application did not help

I need help finding my files. Today when I’ve opened my Figma account, all of my files were missing. It’s like somehow, my account was reseted, and all I can see is a project that I’ve been working yesterday. They don’t appear even in the deleted tab, so I don’t really know what to do. Anyone know what could have happened? Thank you!!

I set up some documentation of a design I made for a client and put some previews inside the pages. The documentation is made in Notion. To embed the right preview, I copied the link via the Share dialogue, while the frame was selected. The option ‘link to selected frame’ was ticked. After pasting the link, Notion ‘generated’ the preview inside the page. After the weekend, I wanted to update some of the pages. And what happened? The previews of the frames turned at once into previews of the whole file. 😦 Nothing really changed between Friday and Monday. Anyone any idea? Thanks, René

So… you guys just released a font variable support, which have a few limitations and is currently still not 100% usable in our design system. You guys allow only ‘Font Weight’ Variable for Variable Font Axis selection. What about ‘Slant’, ‘Width’, etc… Many fonts support them and without them we still can use font style tokens partialy since ‘Width’ cannot be assigned. Also Line-height… it only accepts number without suffix, in our system we use 2 line height variables. 130% and 150%, Figma supports these values without variables, but when i try to define them with number variables, percentage is not allowed and line-height does not accept string variable… I’m kinda dissapointed that this thing took one year for you guys and its soo basic.

Is there a way to change the top header while scrolling in Figma prototyping?

Hi, I am creating my 1st Dark mode and I am facing a visualisation issue. When picking component color in the Dark mode, I see my light mode colors in the dropdown. The preview once selected is right but it is kind of hard to have to pick something that does not relate in the dropdown. It there a way to change the dropdown preview?

Hello, Figma doesn’t seem to support Canadian Syllabics which generally render fine using Arial Unicode: ᣃᐉᐄᐆ However with the same font selected (Arial Unicode MS) those glyphs show up as empty spaces. Anyone had similar issues? Is there a way to get these glyphs rendered in Figma?

Trying to create a simple shape with Pen Tool, but one angle (on the right) has a nice point at the top, and the other side is flat, since the angle is smaller. Is there any way I can have 2 sharp points for my shape, and keep the angle that I need for the design? Thanks!

I cant figure out why my buttons perform any actions though I have followed multiple videos. All I am trying to do is get it to change colors and appear selected when pressed. I followed a more in depth video that had it do a hover, focus and then press before returning to the original. I have a clear link in the prototype settings. I named the property and yet every time when I paste the button onto a frame from the asset column it does not respond to anything. Any feedback would be appreciated

I was in the waitlist, but today I ran Figma and it came out like this. Is it out of the waitlist? If so, the menu for designing with AI should come out, but it won’t. Please let me know.

I KNOW this has been asked a million times. It is one of the hardest topics to search for. So forgive the new ask of an old problem. Basically I have built an numerical input field that allows a designer to increase or decrease a number by use of clicking an icon or by keyboard arrows. Great. but… You can see this coming a mile away. IF I drag in five numerical input fields to a design…changing the value in one instance will change them all. It is impossible to manage and create variants for a large product design with heavy data manipulation without the ability to manipulate fields independently. And creating a variant for 100+ fields is unacceptable. Especially when it will change frequently in the future. So there HAS to be a way to do this with variables and conditions right? Maybe? Hello, We have recently made changes to our Figma account in order to update the 2FA configuration. However it is blocking us from publishing the new update for our plugin. I tried emailing support@figma.com as suggested, then I received an automatic reply saying I won’t get any help because i’m on the starter plan: “Thanks for reaching out! It looks like you’re contacting us from a Starter account. Customers on this plan receive support through our Community Support Forum and Help Center.” Can you please unblock us? It is quite urgent as we have a product delivery tomorrow. Thank you for your help.

Hello guys, I have a problem in Figma both desktop app and web versionand I tried both my accounts and it was the same problem and the problem is whenever I try to select an item i cannot drag it, resize it properly, delete it, or do any other changes. And there’s like a double shadow mouse when the mouse is on whatever item. Help please!!!

Where should I save these keys on node.js? I thought I could save them on cookie. but realized that we couldnt use cookie on plug in… database? or what else? Thanks 🙂

So I was trying to do a hover effect on the button which I got that work but the other condition while pressing should change the variant (text box for player/team name) relative to the int button pressed(1,2,3,4…). So that’s the logic am I going for.

Any idea of how to export Mural boards to a FigJam file that’s not a PDF file? Thank you!
