I have added the Material Design 3 design kit to Figma. The device sizing is showing 412 x 892 for mockups. In Figma the large Android Device is 380 x 800.
How do you get these two sizes to align in Figma? If I just scale everything I lose the layout guides? Plus it is a pain to scale everything.
What am I missing?
Hey @Craig_Brookes_personal – so to address the size differences, Android devices have a wide variety of device dimensions. Within Figma, we’ve just gone with a 380x800 approach.
The Material Design 3 kit is made by a partner of ours (Material Design), so they likely have a different standard for what they consider ‘large’ in their kit.
re: scaling – are you referring to the default frame preset for prototypes – like it’s not sizing as you would expect in that view?
