Just recently I noticed that text in the variables window is blurry. If I move the window around, sometimes it glitches itself back to clear text. But most of the time I can’t get it to fix itself. I’ve tried logging out and back in, and even restarting my computer. This problem is persistent. In the first screenshot you can see the blurry variables window adjacent to other UI text, which is crystal clear. In the second one, you can see where I moved it a little and it partially repaired itself. I’ve searched but can’t find a solution for this. My setup: Desktop Figma app 124.6.5 2024 MacBook with Sequoia 15.2 External Dell U2715H display On my MacBook’s built-in display, it’s fine. The blurriness only happens when using the external display. And for reference, no other UI text in any other app on my system has this issue. I’d love help if anyone knows what might be causing it. Hello everyone, We are a team, new to Figma, coming from Sketch. We have a design system organized in 4 categories as follow : Foundation Components Layouts Pages In Sketch with the Forward slash naming methodology (/Components/Buttons/Primary/…) we had no problem separating our 4 categories listed above. Here in Figma when we import the library, all those categories items are mixed up at the same level : We thought to split the library into 2 files : 1 containing Foundation and Components and the other containing Layouts and Pages Is there a way to make that appear cleaner ? How did you do it for your own design system ?

Hello, I’ve made some prototypes and have embedded them into my SharePoint site. I’ve been able to hide the Figma UI (white bar below) and the border, but I can’t figure out how to hide the loading screen. Is it possible to hide the loading screen (blue loading bar and white screen) before the site shows the prototype? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I’m looking for a way to track how tokens are used on my design system components. For this, I would like to be able to have a tool where I can click on a token and see on what other token it is used, and what on what component it is used. Something like that for example: (for some reasons I can’t upload any picture to illustrate… so I will try like this) color.bue.500 —> color.background.primary —> (component) Button —> color.border.secondary —> (component) Button —> (component) Link Is there any software to help me do that? Excel or anything? thank you

I have a Figma library (let us call this “A”) that is added to another library (let us call this “B”). In A, I have defined some variables, such as what colours to use when switching the design from light to dark mode. I have utilised the colours and tokens from A inside the designs in B and subsequently inside designs that use these from the B library. Variables in A ← B ← Designs But suddenly, I can no longer switch from/to dark mode using library B, although I can use the associated Tokens from within both B and its associated design files. Nothing happens when I switch from light to dark in either B or its related designs. But it all still works fine in A. I should mention that all files and libraries are up-to-date/exported, etc. Does anybody know why this could happen?

I’m running into an issue with a component that uses a slot. When I replace the slot content with an instance of a different component, the padding of the original slot component is preserved instead of inheriting the padding from the new component. I expected the replaced component to behave with its own padding settings, but it seems the slot’s container enforces its own padding. Is there a way to make the new component respect its own padding instead of inheriting it from the slot container? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Community, I was super excited to see this feature in a YouTube video. I checked my admin settings and made sure that it was turned on, and I refreshed my browser multiple times. However, the AI button is not showing up in the toolbar. Does anybody know how to resolve the issue? Thank you so much for your attention and participation. Sun

There are different ways to get to one page and I connected the “Back” button back to one of the pages. But then when I try to do another “Back” function to another page from the same back icon, it wont show me the “On Tap” / Instant option. It only give me the “On Drag” option for this new connection. But I need all the back interactions to look the same. Why cant I do more than one back connection from the same button? I don’t understand. It is the simplest thing. Back buttons re supposed to go to the page before. For example, let’s say we are on a “Biography” page but you can get to that page fro 3 different places in the app. How do you assign 3 “On Tap” interactions to the same button. Why wont it allow me? Help please.

Has anyone faced issues where the text style that is defined and applied to a text is shown in a different style in terms of name to the viewer or dev mode?

Hi friends, I have a boolean variable that I have attached to the layer visibility of a Group layer, which I turn on and off using radio buttons. For some reason though, the variable detaches itself seemingly at random. I have not identified what is causing this and am hoping for a little help. I am aware that variables are in Beta, but is this a known issue though? Thank you.

Hey! I would like to ask if it supports Mandarin system? Because when I used Mandarin in FigJam then when I created outline all the content changed into English version in Slides. Is there any solution? It would be very helpful to fix this as in Asia not everyone could understand English very well. Thank you so much!

It would be great to be able to pass the API access token to an embed endpoint for allowing read-access to the prototype (with a valid access token). Is this on the Figma roadmap or have you considered building out something like this? This would allow me to share prototypes for research with testers who don’t have a Figma account to log in with.

Can you just add some comma or rewrite this message so it is easier to understand? I dragged an instance from Assets panel to page. Seems the component was created, published, then has been deleted from this same file. Did I get it right?

Hi. I’m trying to create script, which will upload images from local pc storage to Figma file. I do it through token, but get error 403 “Invalid Token”. The token is taken from account - settings - security. It is correctly written, the token account and file account is one and mine. May be the issue with scopes, but how to check it… while generating token I extended all rights that I could. i cant select some elements like text boxes and pictures but i can also select other elements, this only happens to one file and its very important for me to finish this but this ruins my work flow, any help?

It’s hard to work on Figma since the last update. Give me back my old UI, This you can keep it to yourself. I can’t even find options which were right in front of my eyes in the old UI. I used to work really fast, Now the same work take 3-4more hours to complete. … Either change it back, Or god help me, I’ll better die working with adobe XD.

I’m on the last day of a massive deadline crunch, and while I’m thrilled to see the variables feature added thanks to the update, I am mortified that I have lost hours of work because some older font weights “are no longer available”. I’m here partly to just express my shock and horror, but also: If there is any way to recover my work QUICKLY, please let me know. Thanks P.S. Yes, many of the styles are in components, so fixes can be global. However, I am still rehearsing a call to the director to explain the delay. There will be a delay. P.P.S. I am using the Open Sans font family, and Open Sans Medium has been eliminated. I don’t yet know if that’s the only weight.

Why did the official delete my files? My plan is starter. After upgrading to the new version, why did you delete my data without my knowledge? I need to recover all my historical files quikly! Please get back to me immediately. 🙃

Добрый день! При сохранении пдф файла, когда открываю в браузере - всё отлично (с первого по последний слайд всё хорошо открывается). Но при открытии файла на компьютере, он начинается не с начала (где-то с пятого слайда). Уже и несколько раз пробовала скачивать, всё равно одно и тоже. В чём может быть проблема? Заранее спасибо 🙏🏼

Eek! Every time I type a letter with an accent (for example: Alt+130 =é) in my Figma file, it deletes the previously typed letter. The word “différent” comes out as “diférent” leaving my French document full of spelling mistakes due to the deleted letters. It wasn’t doing that before so I’m guessing it’s a new bug. Has anyone had this same experience and do you have a fix for it? Thanks!

As seen in the picture Figma variables userd as 3 collections by the name tokens, alias then semantic. Semantic variables have been assigned to element in design. With the time being, and while using many designers, there are unused variables in each collection. Is there a way to check them out, so we can safely remove from the collection/s.
