Is there a way to use flexible variables in Figma, similar to how CSS custom properties allow for freely adjustable values in development?

I would like to enable both designers and developers to easily adjust and manage values like maxHeight. For instance, it would be ideal if we could define a variable for maxHeight that designers can modify directly in Figma, while developers can adjust it in the code — much like how CSS custom properties work.

If anyone has suggestions or best practices for implementing flexible variables in Figma, I’d love to hear them!
