centering multiple elements inside each frame separately i think it’s saving time but i didn’t find such behavior on Figma for instance i have a main container inside desktop frame and i changed the size of it and i want to center that new width to the middle of the frame i have to go one by one if i select all they will collapse inside each other the only solution i know is auto layout but it’s not applicable if working on a new design

Imagine want to move your Figma design file across team projects but unable to find the match of the file. The reason is that you need to type the team project name perfectly to find it. That’s what I found with Figma “move file” button. Can you at least fix your SQL query and change it from and add LIKE = “%SEARCH%” so I can search in between the text.

Can you please fix scrolling? One tick of the scrollwheel should always scroll the same distance. It currently doesn’t. Sometimes it goes way farther, causing me to overcompensate and look like a noob.

I am looking at my heavily-styled design system and thinking through my text styles. I have the general “Body/Regular/XL/Light” type of structure. BUT…what I am finding is that I have "four weights for each; Roman, Italic, Underline, and Strikethrough. Today it dawned on me that I do not have “Underline Italic.” Who does that??? I could go further down the rabbit hole. And online resources are pretty weak as far as best practices. So I ask…what do YOU do?

So I’m already able to add Colors, Frames with a Grid, and an Image via my plugin to a new Figma file. But is there an easy way to add a Component with variants etc? These would be my need: Is it possible to build the component in Figma, extract the relevant JSON data, and seamlessly integrate it into my plugin? Hi, I created a file yesterday and uploaded to Figma community and after a couple of hours it was deleted. How long does it take to review? Is there a possibility that after review it would be deleted?

I use fig jam for online tutoring and remote AP courses for homeschool students. I’m planning to transition to Fig Jam from Jam Board for next Academic Year and I’ve been testing it this semester. I’m concerned about access issues I’ve been having so please help me understand if I am doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with the application itself. Three times it has happened I share a fig jam with a student and they eventually can’t edit the board, even when I set the board to open session. Twice this occurred after 7 days so I assume the student didn’t set up an account. But they should still be able to access the board in an open sessions, correct? The third time was a student on his school email who had set up an account. Everything worked for about 2-3 weeks and then suddenly he could only see the boards I created in view only mode. Hello! I’m pretty new to Figma, I used to work with Adobe XD before. This is the problem i’m dealing with: I have made several groups of components within a frame. When i’m working in one of these groups and I want to insert a component from another library into this group, this component will always appear as the top layer of the frame. Then I have to find it in the layers and drag it into the right group. Is there a way to insert a component directly into the group i’m working in?

I have made a tile component with a nested slot, that slot yields auto layout and is set to hug for both width and height. When I swap instances the width and height doesn’t change. This has happened to be in the past and actually never found the solution.

I have been asked to prototype something like this in Figma. I need to be able to have all these variables interact with one another. I haven’t been able to find a tutorial for something this complex on Skillshare, or YouTube. Does anyone else have a tutorial I haven’t found? I started this morning trying to get variables going to simply set an active state on a swatch. I can not see how I can change component boolean property in the prototype. For example - On click an icon appears. The icon is tied to an on/off property. Am I missing something in the new UI? I think it was an option before. All I see now is a dropdown I can use to switch to other variants.

I’m building a very simple prototype to run a tiny user test. The prototype has 1 single flow, 1 page with a scrolling effect, and the rest of the pages use “on click” > “navigate to” > “artboard X” with a basic “instant” animation. The prototype works perfectly fine on mobile and desktop, but on iPad (both via the Figma app and via a browser such as Safari, Mozilla, and Duckduckgo) everything is broken. I have a vertical scrolling container with 4 cards inside. Each card links to a different page. If I touch the screen to scroll, but my finger touches one of the cards, I’m automatically redirected to the card’s link. So, it looks like 2 interactions cannot happen on the same area of the screen. This doesn’t happen on desktop and mobile. Any other elements outside the scrolling frame (within the same artboard) lose their interactions. I have set a simple top right button that I keep on clicking, but it simply doesn’t work.
