I use a ton of arrows with descriptions whenever I am doing a user flow. I do a line for this, with an arrow tip. Quick and dirty by eye then go back and make sure everything is beautifully aligned and precise throughout the flow.I used to be able to select the anchor on Line A and the anchor on Line B and use the alignment panel to make sure those lines terminated in the exact same spot. I no longer seem to be able to do this and it’s driving me insane. With basic straight lines with only two points, I know I can just set the width evenly, but if the lines branch with out from straight lines I can no longer line the anchor points up.I want both of these blue lines to touch the pink line precisely using the alignment too. Not moving the entire line, just the anchor point of one to be aligned perfectly with the other. When I double click on Line A, I can only edit the anchors on Line A. If I hold shift and double click Line B after Line A is selected, there is no duel vector edit mode.

Hello ! I know that figma extension in VSCode is in beta, but when i installed the plugin in VSCode and then tried to click on the Log in button to login my Figma account, nothing happens. Does anybody else has the same issue ? Thanks ! Caroline

In Figma, how can I create a blurred rectangle behind a text box that expands dynamically as the text grows, while also being able to adjust the rectangle's transparency/effects separately from the text? I was trying to get chatgpt to help but it wasn’t working. Auto layout turns my rectangle into the frame which then has transparency and effects effect the text, which I don't want.

When I open the Figma app on ipad, it gives me a login page. I fill out the information, it sends me to my email for authentication, and then from there it sends me to Safari. If I go back to the Figma app, it remains on the screen that says “Check your inbox.” There doesn’t seem to get any way to get Figma to actually let me use the app. Is this an ongoing issue?

When I right-click on a page no menu appears in the Figma app. I only get a menu when I right-click in the layers panel. and I don’t have the top pane where the pen tool is (which I need), so I can’t make that panel appear without the menu.

Hi, it was always fine when i resize images in figma. But yesterday my images start to be smoothed on export. How to disable this? I cannot find any setting. I tried different browsers. Its a disaster

So my org has a pretty big requirement for presentations and lately we’ve switched everything to figma slides.Now what we wanted to do was mas the public URL of figma slides (the presentation) with our own organizations URL but it seems that there is some sameOrigin error that prevents this from happens and thus prompts the login screen on load. I’m not sure how to fix it and my dev team has also tried most options. Technically the public URL link should be accessible regardless of where it is hosted right or what URL is it masked under. I’m essentially trying to do the below thing:   If I load just the public link that I got from figma slides as it is in incognito (or a browser where I dont have figma logged in) - then the link loads fineBut as soon as I mask it in my own URL, the public link I got from figma slides starts asking for login. (additionally, if I allow cookies on the browser, then the login screen disappears) I’ve also tried using the public iframe link that figm

When copying a section, I want it to be copied downwards rather than sideways

So I have a component with a lot of nested hidden components within it. Is there a way to see the list of color tokens being used in the component all at once without having to expose those nested components in the master component?

When I use the new Position Sticky feature in Prototyping, the frame that sticks to the top always sits below the frames that scroll. This doesn’t make sense because the point of sticking a frame is so that it sits on top of all scrolling content. Do I have to re-order the layers somehow? Do I have to check an extra box to make the frame sit on top of all others? Thank you

Hi, i am not sure when this issue first started but here it goes. I have 2 variants, desktop (1440px) and mobile.(375px). Both of them are fixed width.When i put the desktop variant into an autolayout frame, the instance became Fill width. So when i change the instance variant to mobile, because it is now Fill, it stretched to the whole frame. Please see the video below for the issue.Hope to get a response! 

Hi everyone, I’ve noticed some changes in Figma’s UI recently (possibly after the latest update), and I wanted to check if others are experiencing the same: Dragging to Adjust Input Fields I used to be able to click and drag on fields like “X”, “Y”, “Blur”, etc., to increase or decrease their values interactively. Now, it seems that functionality is gone—I can only type values manually or use the arrow keys. Is this an intentional change, or a bug? Middle Mouse Scrolling Additionally, I can’t scroll the canvas using the middle mouse button anymore. It was a super handy feature for navigating around quickly. Has anyone else encountered these issues? Are there workarounds, or is this a confirmed change in Figma’s behavior? I’m using Desktop App on Windows if that helps. Thanks in advance!

Hi!Really hope someone can help me. I’m using Figma Simple Design System, specifically the component  Select Field under Inputs. Does anyone know how to add more items to the drop down list? I can’t seem to find any settings for amount of items and when I try to copy and paste an item it ends up outside the instance. There must be a way of doing this that I’m missing? Thankful for some help!Jonna

Hi everyone!I’m working on website campaigns where I create multiple assets. In the mockups, CTA buttons and text are placed on top of the images, but for export, I need two versions:One with the CTA and text One without them for the final assetRight now, I’ve set up components for the text and buttons, so I can hide them in the main component. However, since we’re working with many different formats, manually toggling visibility for each export is still time-consuming.Is there a more efficient way to handle this in Figma? Ideally, a way to quickly switch between both versions across all formats before exporting?Would love to hear your suggestions—thanks in advance! 🙌
