Hi - we are working on moving to Jira Cloud. In our data center version we have the Figma for Jira app. It’s worked great for those users who obtain their own personal access token and have our admins add those within Jira. However, not all Jira users have or need a Figma account, but would like to view the design specs in Jira.Our Jira admin team tried configuring according to this article for both data center and cloud, but users are still getting permissions related errors when attempting to add them. What could we be doing wrong? Do we need to have individual Figma accounts for each user within Jira? 

Hello, We have developed internally a decoder which decodes Figma files to generate ARINC 661 content from the Figma content.I know that this is not supportted by Figma because *the format can be changed in any time* , but are there any “patent” restrictions on this if we own the Figma files (which means that we designed the files ourselves).  I’m thinking of copyrighted content for example. We are thinking of open sourcing the generic code we use.

Hi, We’re experiencing issues with variable fonts suddenly switching to non-variable weights (example: from 550 to Regular) without anyone touching it. This has happened when: Multiple users are editing the same file Multiple users are viewing the same file, but no-one is editing There is only one user in the file As this has happened with several different fonts on several of our projects, is this a bug that has happened to anyone else?

I have started to create some styles with gradients. I have assigned variables to the individual stops. However, if you look at the element with this style as a developer, the variables do not appear but only the hex values for the individual stops. This makes little sense to me if others cannot see the variables that have been defined for the stops. Am I doing something wrong in the structure of the styles or is it designed so that you can’t see them?

Hi, I manage a Figma team with two other admins. The three of us have edit permissions on the team and the other eight members are view-only. I’m wondering if it is possible to set permissions at a file or project level, so that my other two admins cannot edit files in certain projects, or only edit files that they have edit permissions on.I believe an easy way of doing this would be to set their team permissions to can view, but if it is possible I would like them to retain their admin privileges of member management, etc. Is this possible? Thank you for your help.

I have been charged 15$ for each person I shared my file to. I have an annual account and I received an invoice for this for the past month’s activities. I’ve been using Figma only since February and I’m still just learning how to do things here. And not one person online talks about how sharing access to files is a charged service. I cannot afford to pay for this charge right now. I will have to look for an alternative service or create a different account and try to manage with that somehow. I have sent an email to support requesting that the fee be wavered. Nowhere in the app or online did it say this? And nor did it alert me while I was sharing the file that I would be charged for this. This is not at all transparent and super shady. I haven’t gotten any reply from Figma support regarding what can be done for this. I am yet to pay the fee because I simply cannot afford it and Figma is basically holding all my work hostage. I don’t know what to do now.

Hello,Thanks for checking into this issue. I have a component that has auto layout in it, however after applied the component, i can no longer use the auto layout feature in the component. Is it a setting issue?Let me give you an example.the purple zone is set as AUTO LAYOUT, and for the whole frame as MAIN, it is set as a component.After i apply the component into a new frame, the purple zone is no longer AUTO LAYOUT enabled. This is hard for me if i want to draw and drop something into this zone.Hopefully, i’ve made it clear. Does the communicaty have any solutions? Best regards

Hello! Please help me to figure out the problem. Autosave doesn't work both in the web version and in the desktop app. Every time after moving files into a frame or any other actions, I'm warned that the changes have not been saved. Plugins aren't loaded, there have been situations when I was able to load them, but then the page started to freeze. I've tried logging in with and without VPN, both through the browser and through the app, it still doesn't work. I've cleaned the cache and the memory on the PC. I've tried to create a new Figma account. I've tried to log in through another PC. I've also tried to change the browser. Tried the same thing with the wi-fi.Nothing helps.I really look forward to your help in solving this issue

Hi,After I have exported several sections into a PDF, I’d like to merge them all into one file using Adobe Acrobat. However when I try to merge the files in Adobe Acrobat, I see this weird vertical lines appearing. Why do do these lines appear?

The images created will not be used for commercial purposes, but will be used for company work, internal documents.That's all we are going to use in Figma. The Starter plan is enough for us. Is it possible to use Figma on the Starter plan for these purposes, specifying the company's corporate email in the account contacts?My company's tech support says that corporate use requires paying for plans. Are they right?

Hello,I recently upgraded my first team to Pro and gained access to the AI beta tools. However, after about a week, I was verified for the Edu version, so I created a second team under the Edu plan while my first team remained on the Pro plan.My question is: Why are the AI tools available in the Pro version but not in the Edu version, even though I am using the same email/account across different teams? Additionally, who should I contact to activate AI tools for my Education version as well?Thanks in advance for your help!

Is anyone else facing issue with Set Variable Mode today, sometime its working and at times it’s not.

My status of student was confirmed but when I tried to create a new team and upgrade to professional,  the option “Is this an education team?” is not showing, it only shows the monthly/yearly payment option, I’m following the help center guide so What am I doing wrong here?

I am working on a file that has 2 pages and 2 menus which are linked to the pages but when i click on the menu button(s) during my prototype presentation, the link opens the design file and not the prototype page. I am copying the link to the page and adding the interaction. My menus are part of a published library with components of menus and UI elements I have tried to swap out the page link and replace it with a link to a specific frame and still getting the same issue. This seems to happen only with page links, overlays etc work correctly. i notice the URLs for the page or frame links has a figma.com/design and the prototypes have a /proto url structure, is this some sharing settings issue that I am not able to copy the right /proto links ? I think i am missing something obvious here :( 

Just curious how people approach prototyping with similar interaction attributes? I’m playing with the local variables by components like tabs and navigation bars to juggle the state logic (e.g., when one tab is selected, the rest gets deselected). Since I’m using my personal account, I only have up to 4 modes from the local variables, so instead of setting everything up in local variables. I just have a set of initial states (e.g., tab 1 = selected, tab 2 = not-selected, etc). While I manage to get the prototype to work. I found the process of setting up the interaction using conditional very time-consuming. For each tab on click, I have set variables for every tab within the components (I was playing with 8 tabs). I wonder if Figma has any capability to copy and past the interaction attributes like transition type, timing, and conditional logic? Sort of like how we could copy the style (fill colour, corner radius, etc) of a layer and past it on to another one.

I just updated my Figma to the latest version and I have noticed that when I try changing X or Y position of a vector by .5 px, it also slightly increases the size of that vector (which I dont want).Am I doing something wrong here?

Case: I have masive design system using Variables. But sometimes, I have to change (for example) change the color MenuCategories/bg-color.I have to manualy open the Variable table, and manualy find the variable.Quastion: Is tehere any way, to automaticly open the Variable table and dont have to find the variable manualy? I cant do that via Right click, or click some button. Hi, guys, a newbie here. Just moved from Sketch to Figma, imported my sketch file successfully and got stuck on this step one. All of my pages show in Zoom to fit option, but whenever I try to zoom in or out (with mouse or menu) everything just disappears( No matter how far or long I scroll. I tried to import a file with just one page, and it’s the same - I can’t zoom in or out, I can see it only in Zoom to fit view.
