Hi forum sorry for this simple question but i couldn’t find the thing i want and i am pretty new on Figma, i have created a dropdown menu and in my design i have few different places which needs listbox ( dropdownmenu) in fact, is it possible to not create another one from sctrach and just duplicate- change the list items- then go or any other suggestionsThanks in advance

Hi all 👋,I'm running into a frustrating issue and hoping others have found ways to manage this.My team built a design system for a large client that’s now being used across multiple applications and design teams. Our base typeface, for example, is Montserrat, but we’re noticing a growing number of strange visual bugs during design reviews and collaboration—text appearing broken, spacing/layout shifting subtly, font weights looking off, etc.After some digging, I suspect it’s due to different designers using different versions of Montserrat. Some may be using the variable font version from Google Fonts, others might be on an older or TTF/OTF version, and a few may have installed it from entirely different sources. This seems to create unpredictable behavior in Figma, even when the font name matches.So my questions are: Is there a way to standardize or "lock" a specific version of a font inside a Figma file or library? I’m working on a dating app prototype for a class.When connecting nodes to certain pages, it leads to a blank white screen. I have been playing around with variable prototyping, but sometimes when I assign a variable to a variant, I get this popup. Does anybody know what this means and how I can fix it?

Hello. I am looking for a way to copy frames with dozens of annotations attached to them into another file as they are. With regular copying, there's no way to copy the annotations along with the frame, so I have to manually copy them all.

When I import a new font to my computer (mac), it will only show 1 of the font styles (usually the latest one) in Figma. I cant access any other weights or styles e.g. italic, medium etc.. Any solution for this so that all the styles and variables upload to Figma?

Hi,I'm quite new to Figma, I've always had the free account but the other day I decided to create a new team and make it professional.  Now I have created projects (folders) and inside these folders I want to add files (design file) as you can do in the free version. But I create a design file and it says the following: “You can share and move your drafts in Figma Design for up to 3 days while waiting for an admin to review your seat upgrade request.” But I don't understand, if I bought the Professional license why can't I do it if I should be the administrator…Do I have to buy the Full seat? What happens if I have already paid for the collab seat?Thank you!

Greetings!I’m having a very weird issue where the links to components are taking me to the section and not the component. Sometimes it so happens that the same link will take me to the component and sometimes to the section. the same link would take us to the right component if we open it through an app like slack. my team finds it very annoying as we have spent a chunk of time maintaining a list to our components which is basically unusable now. Has anyone faced this issue? If so then have you been able to solve it?

As I continue to explore Figma for my students, I believe having access to this tool would be incredibly beneficial for our learning environment.A few of my students are eager to use this feature, and I would love the opportunity to introduce it to them. I currently have 4 annual seats and 2 monthly-billed seats in Figma. I plan to remove one person from an annual seat and convert the two monthly seats into annual seats.If I remove one person from an annual seat, will one of my existing monthly seats automatically be converted to an annual seat without extra cost? How will this affect my billing?

Hello Whenever I run a Find/Replace to remove some quotes ( " ), Figma identifies and removes apostrophes ( ’ ). And vice-versa. It doesn’t make sense as each character have its distinct ASCII code. Or am I doing something wrong here?

Hi everyone, I have noticed that Figma does not display a slider for the italic axis. This only happens if the font is created with a slant axis. Is there a reason why it is not possible to select a position within the italic axis on a slider interface? According to the specs, the italic axis allows a scale interpretation. Let me know, Céline

Hi Figma team,In the governance phase of design system works I will lock all layers of components, etc. I wanted to drop a note and suggest/ask for a way to lock/unlock all layers (or selected layers) with a single click.It’s time consuming to do this one layer/group at a time.

I have recently, seemingly, lost editing rights to the drafts on my profile. My Drafts folder contains only four, 4 year, old files.  My more recent Drafts are still available from the Recents folder, and I have all of them open in tabs, in the desktop app.  However when I right right click a draft, in Recents and try to move it I get the following error message: "Current location: Philip's DraftsYou can’t move files that are in another person's Drafts."  All of my Drafts are view only, and when I send a request to edit, I receive an e-mail request in the inbox of my login profil.  I am at bit of a loss as to what is going on? could anyone help me sort this out? I tried searching for similar cases on the forum, but haven’t been able to find anything that solves my situation. ¨BR Philip

How can I export all the frames from all the pages of a Figma project at once? I want to export the screens in JPEG or PNG.

This has driven me BATTY for like two years. When I select a component Figma, correctly, selects the same component in other frames throughout my file. But neither “select all with same variant” or “select all with same component” will actually select the other purple instances highlighted. What am I doing wrong? How do I select all of the instances Figma has identified?!

Is it possible to do an auto layout BUT move the elements within the autolayout?I added an sample of what I need it to look like.

Hello everyone. When I work with the Figma desktop app on Mac, the red alignment lines do not show. I don’t know why, because they only show in the Figma web app. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance!

Today I noticed that copy / paste of properties does not seem to work properly anymore for me. Whenever I try to Option-CMD-C stroke properties from a vector, it shows no effect on the other vector item after pasting it using Option-CMD-V. However it works with closed paths sometimes and fills are no problem at all. Works: Fills Rectangle to rectangle strokes Rectangle to ellipse strokes Rectangle to line Does not work anymore: Ellipse to ellipse strokes (???) Line to line Vector to vector This is blasting my workflow right now. Did anyone have the same experience?

I’d like to move every in the red square down to make room for another section. What’s the best way to do that? I’m completely new to Figma, no experience.
