Figma flickers when loading or when switching between tabs or zooming. I couldn’t find how to fix the issue on the internet. I use the application on Windows. This is not visible in the screen recording. I have a video on my phoneaccounts.google.com

I am running into a bug only in the past 2 hours. Any instance of a component with variants that has text from a variable now won’t show the text. Is anyone else seeing this problem? I can re create this with a very simple 1 text component.

I designed a site design from Figma Desktop and then due to an app update, I couldn’t use the Desktop version anymore and had to use the browser version. This could be relevant to the problem. Now its time to build the site but I can’t export any images or text without changing the fonts to something else (which I would rather not). I select an image and shift command E or File/Export but nothing happens. 0 out 0 exported. Inconvenient because all my source files and text are handy within the FIgma file. For the fonts issue where I cannot extract text without installing the Font Agent.I have downloaded and installed “Figma Agent.app”, cleared cache and restarted browser and computer but still the same. The need for custom shortcuts remains: Customizable shortcuts Share an idea They are customisable on Mac but not all shortcuts work. E.g. you can’t CMD + 1 for “Zoom to Fit”. Instead it switches to the first Figma tab. You can’t override it. In the meantime, I’ve been using the System Preferences of MacOS to create custom shortcuts:

Hello! I am fairly new to figma so bear with me.I understand the click and hover interactions by using variable elements, but I was wondering if I could use one component as a button to toggle visibility of a separate component within the same prototype?I have attached a screenshot of the mechanic I am looking to implement - a button within a set of images highlights their location on a map when clicked.I have had some success following other forum responses by using conditional statements to turn the attributes of the target map marker from true to false - visible to hidden, but I am not fully understanding the process so when a problem arises I am lost.I will also include some screenshots of the direction I have been heading in for reference.Any direct help would be great, or if anyone can point me to a good tutorial I would be very grateful. Hello,I need to automatically import multiple local images into FigJam. Each image should have a text field above it containing the image's filename. Right now we are a team of 3 people and we are working on a design system. The problem is that with the Professional Plan we can’t share the styles and components between us and for the moment upgrading to an Organization Plan wouldn’t be the best approach for us since we are only 3 people. Is it possible to have one single account (for example designteam@company.com) and the 3 of us to be logged in and use that account with a professional plan? In that way any style and component created inside that account could be available for use it.

1. As a upgraded user, how long can we access the version history of our files? Can I see all the history since the file was created? Or just 1 year or 2 years?2. How long can we keep the history records we keep manually in the file Is it permanent?

I’ve been trying to create HTML email with the help of Marka Email Generator in Figma. I host the images on Figma itself. When I export the project as an HTML file and run it in a browser, I don’t get to see the images I’ve added. Instead I get to see broken images along with the alt text that I’ve added to each of these images.Until a few days before, the plugin was working fine. But now I don’t understand how do I fix the problem that is occurring.Seeking help to solve the issue.

I have an extremely simple prototyping example that takes forever to click through when using variables to manage select/unselect state for a layer.

I am a Webflow developer and have used Figma pretty consistently for 2 years. However, I am by no means a Figma expert. I’m pretty green.BUT… I’ve found it very challenging / annoying for a while now how painful it is to select a layer/group/frame, find the right one, etc. The most troubling is that when I am in dev mode, MOST of the time when I click on an element in the canvas …. then the Layers Panel on the left does not move at all to correspond with where I am on the canvas. How can this be? It just wastes a lot of time.If I EXIT dev mode, then the Layers Panel on the left moves correspondingly & immediately when I click elements on the canvas. This is expected behavior and Dev Mode should do the same.As a developer, I find Figma to be pretty frustrating at times UX-wise. Do other devs agree?

I am experiencing an issue when trying to load a library shared (be me) for my team. I am repeatedly adding this library under Assets, but still can’t use this. Is there smth I don’t understand? Does this workflow work for you?  

I can draw a straight line but how do I make it vertically straight. Can I also equally space out lines? TIA

Is it possible to export only part of a group? I’m in dev/view mode, so I’m not able to hide layers, and as far as I can tell cmd/shift+clicking multiple layers does not work. My current workflow is downloading as an SVG then opening in GIMP to remove the additional items.

Hi there.  I’m a UX and design system consultant.  I'm currently in between contracts and I'm wanting to put my time to good use by experimenting with plugins and Code Connect, but have just realised that in order to use Code Connect you have to be on an Organisation plan.  As a consultant (and the only one in my business), I really don't want to have to pay for 3 seats (which is the minimum for an organisation license).  I’m being quoted over £1,000 per year, which I simply can’t consider.  Is there anyone I can talk to about this?  I'm used to working with organisations and being on their Figma plans for this type of work, but as I'm between contracts, I'm a bit stuck.  Thanks in advance.

Hello, I’d like to share a prototype with people in my company who don’t have a Figma account and I’d like them to be able to add comments on the prototype without having to log in or create a Figma account. Is this possible or is this a new feature to come? I find the “start open session” feature on FigJam very handy for sharing FigJam files with people who don’t have an account, and it would be great to have the same for prototype files in Figma. Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has been able to create ‘Appearance styles’. I’m creating a site that has a range of opacity settings on images as a design system. I’m wanting to have ‘Appearance styles’ similar to ‘Colour Styles’ or ‘Type Styles’ so I can easily adjust these across the different images & have a clear system for development.  Has anyone been able to do this?

Hi all. I have an issue where i want to add semantic tags to my components, to be able to get the code in dev mode and/or VS code.Today i only get <div> in the HTML code. I have tried a plugin “HTML tags & Attributes” and i can see the tag and attribute in Figma, but it doesn’t show in the code… I hope for some help!Best regards

hey guys! I’d like some help solving a question about tokens in Figma and handoff to devs. On design view, we have the token applied with the semantics we created in the global tokens. But, on dev mode, these semantics don’t appear, only the token values appear, for example: “12px”, for the font size which we call “small” and “400” for the weight which is the default, “regular”. Do you know if there’s a plugin or some way to make dev mode show the tokens just like their semantics?

Hi, I’m trying to mask a frame with a vector shape (the shape of an iphone). I put the shape on top of my frame, then select both layers and click on mask icon on top nav. The result is the shape, becomes a fill on top of my frame, where I want the shape to be subtracted from my frame! I’m very frustrated and don’t know what to do. Please help.
