So I recently was designing a prototype of my project at college related to inventory management system. Today i was working it till morning. I had to go away and left my laptop on sleep like I always do. When I came back, my design file, which i created is said to have Not found error and is saying me to ask the permission of the owner. How am i supposed to do that? Someone please help !! 

If an organization on a paid Figma plan enables AI features, I understand that only members can use the AI features, while guests cannot.In this case, if a member of Organization B where AI is enabled is also participating as a guest in Organization A, can they still only use AI features within Organization B, and not in Organization A?(Organization A has also enabled AI features.)

Why share button is inactive? 

Updated to the new FIgma 116.10.9 and now I can’t change parameter values by clicking and dragging. This occurs on both the app and browser versions (Chrome on Mac). When I click a label of a parameter. The cursor (two sided arrows) grows a little wider but freezes in place. Any ideas?

Is there a plugin similar to “Batch Styler” but with the possibility to batch font details? I have many text styles in which the settings for ligatures and stylistic sets are not uniform or incorrect. But since these should be the same for all styles, I would like to adjust this once and not separately for each style individually, which would take a long time. Thanks for your input!

I have a component where I have built a workflow of 4 “views”, each a variant, where clicking in the right place does a “change to” to the next view. These all work fine. prob 1, you can’t have a button in a frame target a variant to open. So I worked around this by pulling an instance of the first view out, and that gets opened as an overlay. Still good. And the whole “change to” flow still works. Now for the problem. I updated the initial overlay call to position “bottom right”, which is ok, but now when the “change to” triggers, instead of changing in place, it shifts the overlay to centered. I’ve tried re creating the links, restarting, etc… no change. I tried manual position of the initial overlay, and it still jumps center when “change to”. This bug is a huge problem and limitation as I often need to create similar localized variant usage.

There is a bug in the copy link to selection function. When using the pop up menu and selecting “copy link to selection” it will copy the link to the exact thing that I’ve selected (yay!) The “copy link to selection” function also has a shortcut key, ⌘L (yay!) When using the ⌘L shortcut the link copied only points to the frame/section that the selected object is within, not the original selection. This means that the pop up menu option and the shortcut for that menu option will point to two different links (boo!)

Hello,We are in the process of changing our domain name, and we are currently using "Login with Google" for authentication. Could you please provide the steps to update this integration with the new domain?

I added another colour token to an already published file, but the new colour token is not reflecting in other files where I used the assetss from the published file.

Helo, as already discussed in the returned Variables[] are not the same as in the UI. Is there any update on this? 

I need access to a prototype in my environment that I can’t open. I can see it in my Shared Files but can’t open it to view or edit.  How do I retrieve that file or update the access? Nobody in my company has access to it but me. 

After the latest update, I think it has become impractical in terms of user experience. The old interface was more user-friendly.

Hey, I am trying to increase / decrease the dimension by using keyboard arrows in windows OS by keeping my cursor next to another object to find the pixel. Increasing/pressing up arrow is working fine, but if i press down arrow to reduce the pixel, i am getting Search along with libraries popup. How can i avoid this use like before.

Hi everyone!I have just started out to learn FIGMA, with a focus on learning UI and UX. I’m just lost in a sea of information and resources on Youtube and other platforms. Can you please help me with some straightforward channels and other resources that I could learn from without spiralling out and get lost. A consistent problem I have faced till now is that the tutorials seem outdated as in the creator/instructor teaching FIGMA is using a different version and as I follow along the buttons, menu and other layouts placed are different than my current versions and I end up spending more time on google for searching where this button is currently located in my version or so. Can you all help me with this with some good resources, I do  not want to learn from a bootcamp style courses, unless it has some really good social proof or review or you have personally went through the bootcamp and have benefitted from it.

I have a file with a single component. Every instance can be followed to the main component in the documentation present in same file. I want to publish the file library so later I can Cut+paste it into another component library.On the last step before publishing I have “Added (?)” message next to a few components (that work before publishing) saying:“This component was moved to another file. Publishing this new copy won’t update instances in other files.”The component wasn’t moved to another file. After publishing the library despite this message all local instances are detached and my only option to follow back to a component is to “Restore main component” - but the component was there anyways. When I click on “Restore main component” it places the same component on top of main component that was previously present.When I delete the one that doesn’t work and publish the library again, same thing happens. I’ve added 20 components like this but did not face this problem. Faced this pro

Hey guys, hope you're doing well.I am struggling to understand how this part of Figma works a bit so let me ask you a question.I hope I can explain it well:So basically you see the bottom element is icon and text. I want to be able to toggle between the different sizes I want to be able to toggle the icon next to the text to be big, middle or small as on the second row. I want with every size to be able to choose different color, for example I choose the small circle with the text I wanna see how it looks like with red, after with green and after with blue. And same for the middle and the big sizes. I guess the sizes must be component with 3 variables, and the colors should be instance swaps? I am lost please help and explain step by step so I can understand. Thank you in advance! :)(I know it would be easier if they were really just colors, but they are different elements I just used colors for the sake of my question to understand the functionality)
