Hi, From the doc, i understood that submitting a paid plugin that makes use of Figma in-house paid system is only available to accepted publisher, and that Figma is currently not accepting any new publisher, is that correct ? so the only way to make a paid plugin would be to do the payment via a 3rd party ? And if so, is it required to provide any specific information during publication, or just submit it under the Community Free Resource License ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Today I noticed that viewers were unable to copy from some files. However, when I toggle the checkbox, Figma doesn’t save the change. After a while, it reverts to untoggled. Some of my files belong to a published library and do not have an owner.

Hi!I keep pressing Ctrl + Q instead of Ctrl + A, and it ends up quitting the entire desktop app (on Windows). I looked into the keyboard shortcut customization interface but I could’t find this shortcut listed. Is it possible to remap or disable this Quit shortcut in the desktop app ?    Thanks!

Hi,I am looking into some docs to create a plugin … I would like to make another “Copy as” feature to match our component development platform. I took the tutorials (orange rectangle party), added webpack bundling and started exploring the API.When using getMainComponentAsync from one of the nodes it goes wrong, the function returns nothing, I get no exceptions and execution just stops.It’s weird ‘cause I can do this from the console in figma but not from my plugin, any suggestions?Is a plugin the right way to achieve what I want ? Oh, I have dynamic-page set … otherwise the asyncs wont work ;-) TxY.

We have 4-5 Figma files with different colours styles (because the maximum groups of colour variables can be just 4 in a Figma file). We whitelabel our site, thats why we have plenty of groups of colour variables.So we have 4-5 Figma files with different groups of colour variables. For one of our customers we did a unique screen design for a unique service (we created another Figma file for them, because they have unique colour combos as well). Now we would like if this feature would be in our general template as well, but when I copy the screen design (frame), it brings the original colour variables, that won’t be a big problem if I would be able to change that to the ones where I pasted it. But I can’t!!! This question was posted a while back, and never answered.  I’m having the same issue.  I’ve created a component with 3 variants.  From within a variant, I want to navigate to another frame in my prototype.  But, this isn’t working.  Any tips?  Or, maybe this can’t be done?

Hi Figma Community! Basically, I have a bunch of one size icons as variants in a component - they all have an auto layout frame applied to them. I want to use the icons throughout my design, but in different sizes. However, I don’t want to create varying sizes within the main component, as there would be too many icons and it would look messy. So what I normally do is: Create another test component using the icon with another element (for example, with a CTA here) Scale the icon using the scale tool (larger as an example here) Then instance swap it and it usually adheres to the new scaled size that I give it. However, recently, this method hasn’t been working and the instance just retains the same size as its original parent varient. *As a note, the icon starts scaling properly if I detatch the instance. Which ideally I don’t want to be doing, as I may have changes to the test component that I need reflected throughout the file. Can anyone assist in finding why this is, that would be

Hello,I just want to ask about the steps to sell on Figma community, when I start publishing the checkbox “sell this resource on community” is disabled, any ideas?

I’ve got variable strings where I need to display a portion of the string as a link, or bold. Normally I would just be able to select the text and style accordingly, but doing so with a variable string breaks the link to the variable. I could break the string up into various parts, stylizing the individual parts as needed, but when you are dealing with a paragraph of text it would be impossible to keep the various parts reading like a paragraph (unbroken) as string lengths change, and then I am also dealing with translations/localization which moves parts around.

When the container resizes the elipses should:retain their relative position (the way they do within a group) retain their absolute sizing (the way they do within a frame)How do you get both, as in this example of a plot, where the red dots should retain their size but still sit on the right point of the graph when the graph resizes? I had hoped that setting each ellipse to “proportional” and then “top+bottom/left+right” within a frame would do the trick, but no.And using a group, well their size gets wacky - they either distort into ovals, or, with proportional turned on, they get huge/tiny when adjusting the graph along one of the axes, none of which is desirable.

Seems like every feature/product they are releasing now is about expanding platform reach and pumping up IPO, not about refining and improving their existing products.When you look at the bugs, feature requests and other needs that long time users have been waiting months and even years for, it gets really frustrating as an embedded Figma user to see them not fix and enhance the basic parts of the software that we so desperately need.Am I alone here? Maybe I’m just letting it get to my head, but so many basic things are not being taken care of. Just gets frustrating.

Hi, The latest build of the Figma (124.7.4) was updated in my system last week and since after that, the app has started behaving too slowly as if a lot of load is on my system which somehow felt like it would crash in some time. I thought, this might be my computer so I kept checking on my Activity Monitor to see if something was going on in the background but there was nothing. Even though I tried it as the only app running and nothing was running in the background, the behaviour remained consistent. I realised this when I switched to the web version of Figma, and things got quite smooth compared to the app’s laggy behavior. The system that I am using is a 2019 Intel i9 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM, and this should not cause any problems. I am sure this is something with the most recent build. I hope I am not the only person experiencing this problem.

I have used variables extensively to create a prototype which is greatBut now I want to create some documentation showing various states of a page.Problem is that I want the visuals in the documentation to stay fixed, but they update every time I toggle a variable valueIt seems there is no way to tell a frame to ‘ignore’ all the variable bindings it has within it… any ideas how I can solve this problem?

I received an email that says I have two weeks left on the education plan. It briefly states what will happen and what you can do about it. However, I'm still confused. I’m not sure how it'll affect my account and what I can or can't do with my files. I would love more clarity. Right now, I have two teams and have drafts and projects in both. One is a free team and the other is and education team. I have the most drafts in my education team as it’s the one I have been using the most. The main question I have is:Does this mean I won't be able to edit any files in my drafts under my education team? Will I only have access to the "free" team and need to move my drafts from the education team to my free team? Or can I still edit in the other team because the filed are in the drafts?Thank you in advance to anyone who can help answer my questions! 

The checked state of my checkbox is only visible while hovering, and disappears when the hover state ends. I’m using a hover interaction in a menu prototype with checkboxes. When I select a checkmark, it gets selected, but when my cursor leaves whatever item I selected and I go to the next item the checkbox disappears. It seems like the selected checkmark is not persisting and only being applied to the hover state. Additionally, it seems when I hover on the item again, the check mark shows as selected, but only during its hover state.  What’s also odd, however, is that when my cursor leaves the menu and goes outside of the frame the checkbox will still be selected. Any solutions to this problem?  Checkmark selectedCheckmark gets unselected when I go to the next item.
