It’s something tremendous. I can’t leave “Present mode” (not Prototype) and in order to do that I ask about it on the forum. People scold photoshop, but sorry I never experienced so primitive problems there. It’s a big shame for figma.

Presentation mode opens in a new tab every time. Are you saying that you cannot close that tab or go to the editor tab? That would be really hard to imagine. Can you provide a screenshot? Or more detail?

Of course. In my case (I use last desktop windows version of Figma) a tab of presentation mode supersedes an edit’s mode tab (in the same tab!). And for instance if I push the cross button, Figma closes. If I press the home button, you can guess.. In the drop-down list we also can’t find any options for closing. It sounds like deadlock.

By the way I have been using Figma last 3-4 years from time to time. I quite seldom utilize prototyping that’s why it was like a discovery for me. I could ask chatgpt, but just realized ask here because it was as something radical one, when you just can’t do elementary operation through GUI (without hotkeys).

Yeah, Presentation mode opens in a next tab from Edit mode tab. But it’s a bad UX and unlike solution because visually they are the same except icons. I daresay the more rational decision locates it under original edit mode tab or on the right but with invert colors. I have 100% vision, work with code, read quite a lot and anyway I noticed Presentation tab the next day. If only couple tabs open it’s ok, but if open much more, then Presentation tabs with the same name look like dublication and commingle in your perception.
