For the past number of weeks, I’ve had issues exporting in Figma. I have to refresh the page every time in order to export any files. When I click File>Export, it has all the frames selected, and not just the one or two frames that I’d like to export. I had no issues until I updated my arc browser recently. Has any one else been running into these issues?

I'm having a little problem making a sticky element so that it is at the bottom of the screen when scrolling until it reaches the end of the auto-layout it is in.I have this block diagram, and I'd like to get an effect where the green button is scrolled and pinned to the bottom of the screen until it reaches the end of the auto-layout (Section 2 in the picture) in which it is located.Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I did the sticky at the top of the screen with no problem, but with the version at the bottom I have a little problem :) 

Hi everyone Figma file I’ve been editing for months as file owner. Now I can’t seem to be able to edit it. I can’t click on any item on the screen, only on item menus and menus, but none of the design stuff. Please can someone help me urgently? thank you!

First I created a component of the Description header and paragraph text and then I added in the calendar. Whenever i select the component the square only goes around the text part. I unchecked and then checked the clip content box and nothing works.   At the first the purble box was going over the “Event Managment” also in the beginning but i was trying to fix it to go over the calendar too but it didnt work and made it now go less.I know i could start over on this component but i thought about it and there going to be times where i create a component and then i might want add something to the original component like a calendar icon for this example. So I want know how to create a component correctly and add in something correctly and when i select the component the purple square goes over the whole thing.

When I assign an action to a nested instance in a component which sets a variable it doesn’t seem to work. The component’s variant changes, but the variable is never changed. There are no warnings or errors. When assigning the same action to the outer component it does set the variables. An example:Figma – 26 Jun 23 This somehow feels related to the following limitation: Variables can only be applied to top-level instances, and are not available for nested variant instances. On Figma it looks like without thin lines. But when i view it in browser it looks like this, there is some lines appearing: How can i hide the lines?

Hi everybody!I don’t know how to automatically (when the user is not on the Figma file board) load SVG.Specifically, it should look like this:1. Send a request with these svgs2. All these files should appear on the board as separate frames, each with its own content.There is no methods in docs that would allow me to manipulate the Figma document in the background  Thanks a lot!

I’m creating a login prototype in Figma and need the user to type @ using Key/Gamepad to make the prototype experience more realistic. However, Figma doesn’t allow using two keys simultaneously, so I can’t trigger Shift + 2. I haven’t found a solution to make this work. Can anyone help me?

Some are ok, some got broken. How do I identify them? Currently, I’m using the plugin design system organizer. I paste the components and re-swap them. Works for that part. But I’d like to validate if all instances got restored. Any plugin or a Figma native function that shows broken instances?

I created a Boolean Local Varible for a radio button component and used this radio button in a lot of frames, in the prototype the trigger is on click to change from false to true but in my prototype when i click on one of the radio buttons all of them change to false or to true.  I don’t know where is the error. Can you help me? 😥 

I share a lot of prototypes with clients who I don't want to access the workspace.Previously, there was an option to share only the prototype. But now I see that they can access the project without the administrator's permission.Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, i have a problem with smooth animation of my navigation bar. There is this “Red” Part, which i want to make transparent. So that when you click on “Home” or “News” or etc. the Blue Bubble together with this “Red” Part moves to the direction of the chosen Title. I need the “Red” Part to be transparent so that it doesn’t look bad on the background picture while the SmartAnimate runs. I tried to subtract the “Red” Part with the Blue Rectangle of the navigation bar - and it worked but only wlihe being static, not during the animation itself. (which is the problem)

I have just had a nasty shock with my Figma subscription so wanted to flag to the community so other people have been warned. After having read through the forums it seems like quite a few people have had a similar experience. If you give some edit access to a file, Figma will charge you add it to your bill at the end of the month without telling you. I have an annual subscription that I thought was a fixed price (why would I not as that’s how it’s communicated) but instead of getting notified that something is out of your plan and will cost you more allowing you to decide if you want to spend more money, Figma will just automatically bill you without you knowing. The result of this is I have been paying for a huge number of seats, most of which are for users that don’t even use Figma anymore! In some cases people have been inactive on Figma for 2 years yet i’ve still been being charged. It feels hugely shady from Figma and not something I expected at all. The premise seems to be let p

So I have been using the Figma monthly subscription since last three months, I then cancelled my subscription in the middle of the coming month (not payed for that month hoping the subscription is cancelled automatically)Now if I decide to revoke my subscription, will I be paying for the whole month even if it is the last day of the billing cycle?What happens in these scenario, help is much appreciated!

I want to be able to use a single variable to control multiple elements of a component instance as per the following scenario.I have created a header component for a suite of apps that has the following elements -Primary colour (Lightest) Secondary colour (Darker) Tertiary colour (Darkest) App icon App nameHere are two app header examples - Each app in the suite has it’s own set of colours, icon and name. So what I want to be able to do is simply set a string variable when launching an app from a home screen that contains a list of the apps and have the header of the app change name, colour and icon in the header component.Eg. Set variable ‘App’ to “App 1” so that the header updates it’s name, icon and colours.Right now I am simply using many component instances and creating lots of pages. There’s a lot of redundancy that I’d like to remove from my file. I know this was an issue on the old Spectrum forum that doesn’t seem to have any ground here, and it still is an issue. See quick video with imported complex vectors and a simple heart made in Figma. Any idea when this bug will be addressed? Dropping it into Illustrator is not an appropriate solution.

Bonjour Je rencontre des difficultés pour créer un design responsive:Si j’organise mes frames en auto layout avec fill contener lorsque je glisse un auto layout dans un auto layout il se positionne automatiquement au dessus ou en dessous alors que je voudrais qu’il s’ajoute par dessus ou par dessous (les superposer).photo 1Alors j’ai essayer la solution de la positions absolute qui donne le rendu désiré mais le design n’est plus responsive….photo 2Sinon les contraintes mais ça ne fonctionne pas avec les auto layout…Le problème est que si on ne met pas tout en auto layout sans utiliser la position absolute le design n’est pas responsive…En espérant que quelqu’un comprend mon problème et puisse m’aider a trouver une solution merci d’avance. bonne journée 

Hello, I’m having trouble using the number vars for line and letter spacing. For some reason (why??) percentages are not supported. So i tried using the rem and em values from our codebase. But it seems thats not the right unit, because as I apply the variable i can see the text move slightly. Also, it seems number vars do not support 3 numbers after the decimal. Why??? Variables are definitely not ready to be out of beta. The UX of editing&applying them is also bad. Keep working on it please.

I had months back enabled a library for my files but I soon deleted the file (which was a community file - "Wireframing Starter Kit’) but the library is still published and I can’t unpublish it or remove it from appearing in all my design files. The library doesn’t show up in the enabled library settings too. The problem is the deleted file still appears in my recent files section but I can’t see any option to delete it. Also when I enter the community file and try to unpublish it, there is no such option and neither can I select the library for more options. My problem is similar to this solved problem on the forum: [SOLVED] How do I remove libraries that appear in the "libraries" modal? But in my case since it is a community file, I can’t change the access settings of the file. And I am stuck with this very annoying problem.

How can I set the prototype to display to anyone (without login) and display the file only to emails I invite?Is it possible?Thanks

This update is really difficult to get used to, now if you entered the change in only one dimension and then selected ‘Constrain proportions’ icon, the second dimension would resize automatically. Now with the recent update it doesn’t resize automatically and you would need to press Cmnd+Z not 1 but 3(!) times to get the change back. I think it was way better initially before the update.
