multi variables

I have one Figma file that includes multiple projects.
Each project has its own set of variables and design tokens.
I noticed that even when I use different collections and scopes, the tokens are still visible across the entire file.
Is there a way to completely separate or hide variables between projects inside the same file?
Or should I create separate files/libraries for each project to manage them cleanly?
