Hey @Jawad Waqas, this is an interesting issue
Can I get a little bit more info?
- Is this happening on all files you work on, or just one specific one?
- Also just to make sure: only happening on the desktop app, correct?
- Are you running any plugins or widgets?
I wasn’t able to replicate in both desktop app or Figma on the web, so I’m trying to brainstorm ideas on what’s happening separately for you.
If this is only happening on one specific file for you, can you try duplicating it, and then seeing if the issues travels to the copy?
Also - if you can, could you grab a screen recording that includes the entire Figma desktop window (so I can see your layers) and show the steps you’re taking that lead to the fill not working?
Thanks!
Having the same issue. Please advise?
In my case, I restarted the desktop app and created a new file. I redesigned the specific section in the new file and found that the issue was related to either layering or a mask. I was able to resolve the problem on my own. However, if the same issue occurs again in the new file, it may indicate a more persistent or underlying problem.
