Just set up my first Figma site and am really impressed how easy it was. However, I want to be able to add some custom code and host on my personal site. I tried copying over the code, but the folder structure of files is crazy. Is there any way to do this?
Hi
Glad to hear you're enjoying Figma Sites! If you're looking to customize your site further with code or host it on your personal domain, here are a couple of Help Center articles that may be useful.
Please check them out to see if they meet your requirements:
-
Guide to code layers in Figma Sites
Available on all paid plans (with edit access to the file). You can describe what you want using AI or write your own React code — or both! -
Manage a custom domain for your site
Also available on paid plans. This lets you publish your Figma Site to a custom domain you own.
Thanks,
Hello, thank you for these links but unfortunately neither of these solve my question. My goal is to host the site on my hosting, not on Figma’s host. For instance, if I want to set it up with a CMS. Is that possible?
Just looked through the documentation and this is not available. Too bad, would have been such a game changer. Curious if anyone has any hacks to make it work?
Also, if I stop paying for Figma, do I lose my Figma sites? Or just edit access to them?
