In the past, there was a way to export selected framers into a single PDF, as described here:  Since a recent update, this doesn’t anymore. And I can’t figure out how to make it. Any idea?

Hi guys! i wanted to ask that I am a student and i was hoping to get the student discount but I am from india so my school doesn't provide with the student mail id. So, I emailed figma and asked them if i could provide with my report card, my transfer certificate, fee reciept, anything that could prove i am a Student but it's been 5 days since i mailed them but they haven't emailed back. Is there anything I could do to contect them or anything?

i had an account with a subscription that i lost the password to and anyway of retreiving it, how can i cancel this subscription, the gmail i believe is (redacted by the moderator due to PII)

It would be great if we could put the properties in the order we want in the variants. With drag and drop like layers. Have a good day 🙂

Hi, I have a side panel with buttons, and when clicking on one of the categories, the main screen slides to the correct categories. This works great. The buttons are in variant components with three states (default, hover, and selected). When I click on the button, I have two interactions set up in the prototype: ‘scroll to’ (to scroll to the section) ‘change to’ : state = selected My issue is that I want the button to go back to the default state when I click on another one. Is there a way to do that? (for now, they all become selected when I click one after the other). Thank you in advance, Anaïs

I just can’t extract an image using Figma MCP.As you can see its successful, but it gives me a url like this, which doesn’t point to anything hence the images do not get rendered.Also attaching my Figma MCP settings.    And before anyone talks about it losing context etc because of the size. This is what I’m exporting, just this…Because I just want to find out how to do a successful export with an image.

I am unable to do anything on any file in Figma Make - hoping I can restore functionality - of course I am pushing a deadline - so the “try again later” part is a) frustrating (try it now… try it now… how much later? and b) is this the only remedy? 

I tried searching for this specific animation or tutorial but couldnt find one.. all of them are simple animation. Any help would be highly appreciated !!

I created a prototype on the free plan.I was able to upgrade to the education plan due to the course i am taking.I now have no access to edit my prototype. Nor can I downgrade to the free/non educational plan. I can see that there is no functionality from previous topics to move people - weird function to exclude, especially as being the main program for UX/UI. why cant i use the prototyping tool on the education plan how do i downgrade to free without education

Hello Figma team,I have suddenly started seeing red lines and a red dot on top of any object I hover over in a Figma file. Since this change, I am unable to move any objects with the move tool. I'm not sure if I accidentally clicked something that enabled a feature or changed a setting.

Hello,I can’t manage to make a button inside a frame (display) replace an image [1] with an image [2] when clicked.What I would like to have in a frame (display) is this:On click → button [A] changes to button [B] → changes to button [C],and at the same time, clicking on button [A], [B], or [C] replaces the image in the same frame (display) with another one [1] → [2] → [3].In detail:- Inside the frame (display) there is button [A] and image [1].- When I click on button [A], it changes to button [B] and at the same time replaces image [1] with image [2].- When I then click on button [B], it changes to button [C] and the image changes to [3].- When I click again on button [C], it goes back to button [A] and image [1].Does anyone know how I can set this up properly in Figma?Thanks a lot in advance

How can I add a collaborator in the Figma Edu plan?

Is there a way to remove all interactive behaviors from components in the library? I’m working on a prototype and need to avoid giving the impression that anything is clickable. At the moment, the only solution I have is to remove them one by one, which is very time-consuming.

Hi there,I’m creating a plugin that:lets you pick a ‘from’ variable collection and a ‘to’ variable collection runs through your selection swapping any variables in the ‘from’ collection to the same named variables in the ‘to’ collectionIt’s going pretty well, but I’ve run into a strange issue when trying to swap colour variables. Using the code below, when I run the swap on a frame with:a fill bound variable – it works fine ✅ a stroke bound variable – it works fine ✅ both a fill bound variable and a stroke bound variable – it doesn’t swap the colours ❌I’ve tried individually removing the portions of the code that tackle the fill and stroke and the same problem occurs. I’m trying to understand the process of sharing a Figma project file with another agency that I’m collaborating with. I’m a sole designer, working on my own professional plan. I don’t want to incur additional editing fees for someone needing to edit or work on my file. So, I want to understand how I can allow someone else the ability to edit or utilize my design without incurring additional costs to me personally. Is there no ability for someone outside of my plan who has a paid subscription of their own the ability to edit or use my project file without adding them to my account? How does someone go about sharing a project file without incurring costs personally?

Hello, Anyone using Magic Mouse while using figma? The scroll is extremely sensitive it captures even the slightest touch when I’m using figma. It certainly doesn’t happen on safari or any other app though. Anyone had this kind of problem or do I have fat fingers 😅

i have been using figma make for my recent project, i have used it around 2 days . but now when i send a prompt it throws an error “ something went wrong try agin after some time” i have tried duplicating the file and waited for more time still the issue persist note: ( i am facing this issue after 2 days of usage it mean i have made around 300 prompts and more)

Hi all! I searched Figma forums all over for an answer but couldn’t find one. The issue I’m having is with icons becoming distorted when using instance swap in a nested component. Here’s the context: I am working on a design system that utilizes 4 different icon sizes that are all square (14x14px, 24x24px, and so on). We are using Font Awesome icons, and the vectors of these icons vary in size, meaning that two icons with the same height may vary in width. My ideal vision is that we make the icon frame sizes components, then place the icons (also components) inside of the square frame and set them to scale. This is so that if we ever decide to do a global icon resize (say we decide 14x14 is to small and want to move to 16x16) that we can do that on the master component level and avoid manually updating all the affected components. However, the issue I am having is that when I swap one icon for another in a child component, rather than maintaining its proportions, it takes on the size o

I have text styles defined inside a library file. All my components are using these styles. When creating the designs using the components and styles in another file I always make sure to use the text styles and if I paste text I use Shift + Cmd + V to esnure I’m pasting text without any formatting (verry annouing tho). Recently I was just going thorugh already done designs to check something and noticed that all the text layers in some of my pages are with the correct color variable, correct size and etc but they have no text style attached to them. Now I have to go layer by layer, copy the text, click Reset all changes (if it is a component) and paste the text. This is rediculous. So few questions: Is there any way to make the default pasting of text be without any format? Is there any bug that caused this dettachment? Is there any way I can only reset the style of the text layer inside component instance and not the text color and etc?
