I have a library full of color and text styles, but for some reason on one specific file they do not appear in the list (empty). However if I select any element it will display the correct style name i.e action blue, H3. So it recognizes the style value to the correct library, but the list will not show it when opened.


Sometimes it just shows one in the list, of whatever is selected (see image)


Things I tried:



  1. Restarted Figma

  2. Checked if the problem is happening with other designers in my org (Its not)

  3. Made sure the library has been activated (it has)


Some of my coworkers are also reporting facing the issue now

Same here… lost all links to our color and style library


We are seeing this issue here at Microsoft Design. Libraries (styles and components et al) are disappearing from files that have the library linked.


I think we should post this issue on adobe forum

After yesterday’s update, Figma has been acting out, Like my “Design” tab controls sometimes appears empty when I select a Frame.


Lastly when I have a Frame selected and clicking on the Color Dropdown menu doesn’t show me my color list nor does it show me any results after searching.

Well, I’ll add my voice to the list. Just stopped working, restart, etc., not resolving the issue, both web and desktop app.
