I have a library full of color and text styles, but for some reason on one specific file they do not appear in the list (empty). However if I select any element it will display the correct style name i.e action blue, H3. So it recognizes the style value to the correct library, but the list will not show it when opened.


Sometimes it just shows one in the list, of whatever is selected (see image)


Things I tried:



  1. Restarted Figma

  2. Checked if the problem is happening with other designers in my org (Its not)

  3. Made sure the library has been activated (it has)


Is anyone experiencing this issue? I have the library turned on, but no styles show up. I have not idea how to fix this issue.

I didn’t update Chrome nor Figma. The styles list simply stopped displaying my styles…

Same thing happening to me on the app version.


Colors no longer work, Text no longer work. This is a Figma issue. Please fix or address a timeline this will be fixed.


Same problem here, recently starting to affect more users in my team.

Until now there’s no patterns in the libraries, files or users having the problem, kinda randomly chooses components to not sync - but they still appear in the assets left panel.


Having the same issue on the standalone…I thought I messed up my file. Glad it’s not just me. Hopefully this gets fixed soon - it’s disrupting my work ugh


Yeah, text and color styles no longer appearing, was just working fine an hour ago, dont think I did anything to cause it.


Ditto. And of course during the week of revamping and consolidating dark mode colors. Seriously Figma, stop releasing so quickly. Its an issue.

Same here. I think this is a new Adobe feature. Let’s just make it invisible and while at it lets kill type libraries.
