Pretty simple ask: I want to move a page from one Figma to another. I don’t see a way to do it.
Select All + Cut + Paste is not a good solution as I might have locked objects that don’t come with the copy and there might be properties set on the page (background color, etc.) that I might lose.
+1 I really need this too
Yep, me too. This is a definite need. #keepingitalive

Is this feature at least considered to be implemented someday?
How has this still not been addressed? This is a huge oversight, and I have not been able to find a legitimate solution. I also don’t see a response from Figma at all, which frankly seems pretty unprofessional.
STILL NEEDED doing it manually breaks everything.

This is very needed
+1 Please add this feature.
+1 Need to be able to move hidden/locked layers and comments.
+1 Would be immensely helpful and is a surprising omission.
+1 for this - after a year of fighting it, we’re dumping Figma, primarily because of the Adobe acquisition, but at least partly because the Project/File/Page organization stuff is so badly designed and basically prevents any kind of useful reorganization of pre-existing work.
+1 for this big time!
+1 for this feature
+1 would love this to be possible
+1 for this feature!
+1 for this one!
+1 to be able to move pages (any everything within them) to another file
keeping the +1 alive. When files get to big and you need to break them up this would be a lifesaver.
Just another +1 in the wall
+1 wondering how this does not exist 🤔
+1 make this possible please
Funny how I needed this…this morning…
So I found a way around it…
The best way is to copy your main component and also design at the same time to another page… like that, the prototypes remain intact…
But Figma need still need to help with this feature…we really need it…
Definitely. Yes. Please! 🙂
+1! I would need this too. I don’t want to lose the comments
any news on this topic?
Ack, I was hoping for an answer… I to need to break apart a large file while keeping the comments.
