It gets very messy having all the web pages placed on a single canvas, especially with so many components, CTAs, and fonts mixed together. Is there a way to separate them—similar to the Design page—so everything can be organized more clearly?
Hi Figma,Would it be possible to get an integration with v0.dev?My ideal workflow would be greatly streamlined if I could connect v0.dev to Figma and take my frontend prototype and import everything directly into Figma. This would save a lot of time for myself and my UIUX Designer that I hand off initial prototypes to.Thanks
Now that the glass effect has been released (which, by the way, is amazing), it's time to remember the 9-slice feature, which still has not been implemented natively. I'm talking about functionality similar to what exists in Unity. In this system, an image is marked with guides — without being sliced into separate parts — so that it can be stretched without distorting the corners. Unity, by the way, allows not only stretching the middle sections but also tiling them. Yes, it's possible to achieve this functionality now using plugins in Figma, but all of them work by slicing the image into parts, which makes updating these images complicated. It's often easier to create a new one than to edit an existing one.Since this functionality is very common in game development and mobile game design, it would be great to have compatibility with Unity for this feature. That way, the same image could be used both in Unity and Figma. This would greatly simplify the pipelines and effectiveness of gam
In presentation mode, it would be extremely useful to click on any image—or even a grouped block of images and text—and have it expand instantly into a larger, interactive view. This allows you to zoom in, highlight specific details, and truly engage with the people on the call, rather than being constrained to static slide layouts. Pitch already does this brilliantly, and it’s surprising that no other presentation tools have adopted such a simple yet powerful interaction. It transforms a passive presentation into an active, collaborative discussion.
One option that could be useful is to allow modifying the decoration of a text that has already been defined as a text style, because that way you do not have to create two or more text styles to simply add the decoration. As with alignment, it could be added below. thanks
Sometimes I am hesitant to use “select matching layers” in fear of affecting more matching layers than I intend to. While the scope control options that another user suggested would be great, a simple feedback message along the lines of “(X) matching layers were selected” would also solve this specific issue most of the time. This would give me a rough idea in most cases whether I’ve selected more than what I want to edit or not, such as layers that are out of frame. Thanks.
Good day,It would be great if:Admins could create a list of departments/squads Admins to select single or multiple departments/squads to get assigned to a User, User can assign single or multiple departments/squads to themselves In the Admin area > peoples section, part of the filter to include the department/squad, which an Admin can filter byAs our team scales it is becoming difficult to keep track of which departments/squads our people are in, and each squads/departments is responsible to contribute to the cost of Figma licensing. By adding this filler it will provide value in quick filtering to work out costs for licensing.
I present to you some simple yet very effective and intuitive improvements to the new paste functionality. Let me know what you think! Community feedback Let’s start with some feedback the community has about the new pasting features. (Note that Ctrl = Cmd on macOS in all the following shortcuts.) On the surface these are perfect additions! But when used in the real work setting, they seem to have some issues. The most problematic thing is probably that “Paste over selection” now has a very awkward key combo: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V. Four keys! Judging by the amount of feedback on this issue, a lot of people have been using it for their daily workflow. Did you know there was a Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V shortcut in Figma already? It allowed you to stack things vertically, it’s called “Distribute vertical spacing”. Nobody used it, but having two shortcuts doing the same thing is a bad idea. Now the stacking one doesn’t work. Ya’ll probably use Macs so you overlooked this. The majority of Figma use
I am an EDU account user. I used Make AI to design an interface for an educational platform. After less than 2 days and a total of 50 versions, I was alerted with 'You've reached your current limit. Your credits will reset on November 1, 2025.' This consumption of 3,000 credits per month is too fast. Moreover, there is no place in the backend where I can see the current credit usage in real-time, which is very unreasonable. The consumption data is not transparent. Now I have to wait until November 1 to use it again, which seriously affects my ability to work normally.
When Figma Make is processing something complex, it can take a while to complete. During that time, I usually switch to other design files to keep working. But there’s no indication that Make is still running or has finished.I often have to switch back and forth 5–6 times just to check if the process is done, which breaks focus and slows down my workflow. It would be great if there was some small visual feedback showing that Make is still building or has completed, even when I’m on another tab. For example, the Make tab icon could rotate or change state. This would make multitasking in Figma smoother and reduce unnecessary tab switching. Figma make tab icon
In the last days I noticed a change in the feature of zooming with Ctrl+scroll wheel. It used to be much smoother. Now it jumps from 26% to 100% to 381% to 1449% 😐 This is a feature I use all the time to navigate my projects and this change prevents me from having adequate control over the view of my canvas. I need more intermediate steps in zooming, just like before this change.
I guess it’s a tiny thing but it will be super helpful to have an option with each element to remove it from final exports. Like sometimes I have some elements which I don’t want to be in the final export when I am batch exporting multiple frames. For me, I faced this issue when I wanted the gridlines/safe-areas not to be visible in the final export. (I’m talking about the manual grid lines, not the layout grid row/column option from Figma) Maybe there is a way of doing that that I haven’t come across yet and as a learner, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could enlighten me.
Simple as the title : Allow components to be set as file thumbnails. We need that possibility in our company to be more flexible with our thumbnails, wich may change year by year.
To the Figma Team and the broader Community,I am writing with an urgent and passionate plea: please make Code Connect a part of the Professional plan. To gatekeep this incredibly powerful feature feels like a direct rejection of the modern, agile way so many of us build products today. The world is moving towards small, high-impact teams, single-person companies supercharged by AI, and freelancers who handle both design and development. We, the users on your Professional plan, are at the heart of this movement. We live and breathe the transition from pixel to production code. Why are you creating this artificial wall between our designs and our code? Code Connect isn't just a convenience for large organizations; it's a revolutionary workflow enhancement for the exact type of user on the Professional plan. It promises to eliminate the friction that we face every single day. To lock it behind a higher paywall is to create an unnecessary and painful partiality, sending the message that our
Hi Figma team,We’re running into a structural challenge in our workspace that’s slowing down collaboration within our creative team. As our organisation grows, so does the number of projects we manage in Figma. Each project gets its own folder, but because folders can’t be nested or organised into deeper layers, everything ends up sitting in one giant list. This creates a messy, hard-to-navigate workspace — especially when multiple teams and long-running projects are involved. We often work across different clients, internal initiatives, and design streams, and the lack of subfolders makes it difficult to keep things structured and find what we need quickly. Our request:A more advanced folder system that supports multiple levels (e.g., Workspace → Client → Project → Deliverables). This would allow us to group related projects, separate clients, distinguish internal vs. external work, and keep our workspace clean as it scales. Why it matters: Reduces clutter and confusion Speeds up file
Since it’s now possible to upload WOFF files to a Figma Sites project, i wanted to ask if you can also embed Adobe fonts? This would be such an essential feature for any brand work.
Our team uses Quasar Framework with Vue.js for all front-end development. Currently, Figma Make generates React-based code.It would be extremely helpful if Figma Make could generate code directly using Quasar + Vue.js, or at least provide an option to switch the output framework.
The help button blocks the prototype content, and it is suggested that the help button can be hidden or moved。
OAuth App does not have permission management functionality, so permission management functionality needs to be added, such as adding editors and readers-only.
Hi everyone,I’m running into a strange shortcut behavior difference between my work and personal Figma accounts. Platform: macOS (Turkish-Q keyboard) App: Figma Desktop + Web (tested both) Mode: Design mode, Move tool active, not in Prototype etc. Issue: In my personal account, pressing ⌥ + ⌘ + ↑/↓ rotates the selected object. In my work account, on the exact same device and setup, the same shortcut correctly changes the layer order. What I’ve tried (none fixed it): Cleared Figma cache (~/Library/Application Support/Figma) Removed and re-added both accounts The behavior persists only in my personal account, even in the web app. Switched keyboard layout between Turkish-Q and English (US) Disabled all plugins Tested in both Desktop and Web app Confirmed Move tool is selected and Prototype/Dev/Draw modes are off I’m stuck right now how to resolve this issue. I need a help. Thanks in advance!
I’ve been asked a couple of times if the font size can be made bigger by colleagues within the feedback panel because they can’t see it. We might be a bit older than most using this software but it would still be a helpful setting to include.
I wanted to share an idea that’s been on my mind: I think Figma could benefit from a dedicated design staging environment. Developers have staging to validate functionality before production, but designers don’t really have an equivalent space to validate design behavior at a higher fidelity. A staging-like environment in Figma would let designers build and test more realistic flows, interactions, and states — something deeper than prototypes but lighter than full development. It could help teams surface UX issues earlier, experiment safely, and hand off work with more clarity. I also think it would make it much easier for developers to understand the design. Right now, presenting prototypes in Figma can get messy, especially on bigger projects. For example:– Sometimes the Figma UI can get in the way when sharing previews.– Prototype links end up long and awkward to share.– You usually need separate URLs for desktop, mobile, and tablet.– There’s no true responsiveness, so everything fe
Bringing this up for visibility. I have a page for “components” and a page for layouts in my design file. These components have many states, so I try to keep things organized by separating project specific variations of key pieces in their own page away from the prototype mockups. I have a tooltip in these components - on hover it displays another component as an overlay. This works great in the component page - but use that component elsewhere in the file and the overlay doesn’t carry over. I can add the overlay, but have to connect each instance of the tooltip (it’s a quoter, so there’s lots of possible variations) on every variation of my component - which defeats the purpose. It looks like this is something others have asked for: ^Like this one if you’re interested.
Hi,I often need the super useful new “Translate to...” AI feature, it’s great, thank you!One way to make it even greater would be to save which language was used last and use it as the default selection. Now I always have to type “ger” to get “Germany” and press enter, bc “Arabic” is the default since it starts with “a”. Just like the cmd+P menu has a “Recents” with the last action on top, I would propose to introduce this for the language selection of the “Translate to...” tool :) Thanks for the consideration,Mikka
In Prototype, Conditional can be used when Trigger is set to None, enabling state monitoring.I believe this can lead to more convenient prototype design, reducing the extensive and cumbersome wiring in Prototype mode. At the same time, this approach will be more suitable for future AI editing, incorporating more code-oriented thinking.
