Why can’t you underline text styles? I get you could just have text underlined in your design system, but it would be nice to simply add an underline to text while you’re designing as well.

For sure, having the ability to underline text would be a valuable addition to Figma’s text style options. It’s a commonly used formatting feature that can help emphasize or differentiate text elements within designs. Implementing this feature would provide users with more flexibility and control over their text styling, enhancing the overall versatility of Figma as a design tool.

To style the text you can use ⌘ B to make bold, ⌘ I to make italic and ⌘ U to underline text.

this eliminates an applied text style though.

Thank you! Glad this exists now!
