Hi Figma team,I’m using text styles bound to responsive typography variables with Desktop and Mobile modes.Example:Desktop Headline 1 = 60 / 72Mobile Headline 1 = 48 / 56When I switch Responsive mode to Mobile, the selected text layer updates correctly to 48 / 56. But the Text styles panel and style picker still show 60 / 72.This is confusing because the style picker shows the desktop/base value instead of the active Mobile mode value.Expected behavior:When Responsive mode = Mobile, the style picker should show 48 / 56.When Responsive mode = Desktop, it should show 60 / 72.Please make the text style picker mode-aware, or show both the base value and the active mode value.
Hi everyone,I wanted to share some feedback as a solo user of Figma Sites.I’m an individual artist, and I created a small personal portfolio website using Figma. I really enjoyed the process - the design tools are amazing and it felt very natural to build everything there. However, I ran into a problem when it came to publishing. For someone like me who just needs one simple site, the requirement to have a full paid seat feels quite expensive and more suited for teams rather than individuals.I don’t need collaboration features, AI tools, or advanced functionality - just the ability to maintain and publish a single portfolio site.I believe there are many creators in a similar situation who would happily pay for a smaller, more affordable plan designed specifically for solo users. It would be amazing to see an option like:a single-site plan limited to one user without team features at a lower price pointFigma is such a great tool, and I would really love to continue using it without having
I use find more like quite a lot and I find myself searching by screenshots from the product I am building in order to find the corresponding Figma file this reminds me a lot of google’s search by image, so I would expect to have this option also in the cmd+k / search menu rather than pasting the image and performing the search It’s a small improvement but I see this also as very useful for engs and PMs since they it can get them to the correct Figma file in a matter of seconds rather than going through slack, linear tickets, or worst navigate the actual Figma structure
I’ve created a Figma plugin to get the state of local variables then trigger external API’s based on that state change. I’m trying to have a prototype instance of the file communicate with the Figma Plugin I created so when I click a UI element in the prototype, a variable changes which triggers an external API. Right now, there’s no way I can find to ‘listen’ for the variable state change in a prototype because it does not ‘write’ to the original variable value.
We raised it in the past: Hi,We are integrating with Figma as part of our SSPM solution and need access to an API for organization settings and accounts, similar to the one used by the UI. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find documentation for this API. Is it possible to use a PAT (Personal Access Token) of an admin for this purpose? If not, do you have any plans to support this functionality? Thanks! Can you please give us some sort of roadmap for it?
Summary A way to merge two or more Figma Make files together — similar to how video editing tools let you combine, split, or cut clips on a timeline. The problem When working on complex SaaS prototypes and flows, I often end up with multiple Figma Make files that each contain useful generated content. Right now, there's no way to bring them together without re-prompting from scratch — which means repeating context, losing time, and risking inconsistent output. The idea A merge or "stitch" feature where you can:Select two Figma Make files and combine them into one Preview the contents of each file (like a video timeline view) before merging Choose the order, split points, or which sections to keep — without having to re-generate anythingWhy it matters For product designers working on multi-screen SaaS flows, being able to build up a prototype from modular Make sessions would massively speed up the process. It would make Figma Make feel less like a one-shot tool and more like a composable
Hi, I hope Figma's product team can prioritize shipping these features. They are all quite simple and practical — I believe in today's era, they should be relatively quick to implement. While using Figma for component library and token management, I've encountered some UX pain points. I'm also surprised that such straightforward things weren't done completely from the start. Here are my optimization suggestions for Variables and components: Icon as a distinct component type — I'd like Icons to be treated as a unique component type so that when configuring Variables, icon colors can be mapped independently without being mixed with text colors. Transparent color overlay via token references in color tokens — I'd like the ability to reference other tokens and apply transparency overlays within color tokens. For example, supporting rgba expressions, or even better, upgrading to support oklch. Gradients as tokens — Currently, there are many gradient styles that can only be managed th
Hi, is there a way to copy the properties of a shape in FigJam and paste it onto another shape like we do in Figma but I have not found a way to do in FigJam or maybe there is a plugin out there that can do that?
Hi everyone,I’m trying to figure out the best way to download design specifications from a Figma file for offline use. In my current workflow, there are situations where I need to access specs, assets, and design details without an internet connection or outside of Figma.I’m specifically looking for:A reliable way to export complete design specs (spacing, typography, colors, etc.) Options to download assets and measurements in a structured format Any tools, plugins, or workflows that help replicate Figma inspect mode offlineHas anyone faced a similar challenge?Would love to know how you handle this or if there are recommended plugins/workarounds.Thanks in advance!
希望文件筛选按钮可以根据喜好固定,我跟喜欢创建时间这个分类,但每次一刷新就没了
My team and I like Figma very much, but not everyone can adapt to the pure English version.
The Figma app for Microsoft Teams is fantastic! But unfortunately, it doesn’t have compatibility with shared channels. Please consider adding it, so that I can share my Figma designs with external clients more easily.Full list of supported apps:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/shared-channels#supported-apps-in-shared-channels
One important feature is missing = Merging cells 😦 Is this feature included as an improvement in the near future?
Figma is a beast and provides everything you could possibly need, yet FigJam is like a tool designed for babies. Can we have an advanced mode that presents the tooling in a more professional manner. Shape tools should support more granular control over look and styling. i.e. i want a solid white square with different coloured border and border style. I’d like to be able to control the skew amount on rects. I’d like to be able to set the stroke width and have more stroke styles. I’d like to be able to create components in Figma and bring then into FigJam, that resize and scale as they do in Figma. I’d like to be able to have preset line styles so i can quickly change them. I’d like some auto layout tools that create spider diagrams etc. Just like in Miro. I’m sure there are some plugins that do elements like this, but i believe this should be defacto standard within FigJam.
Tables in FigJam are great, but I’d like to be able to change the color of the text font within a table, for certain rows, columns or cells. For an example use-case, I’m working with a customer journey map, and I’d like to be able to color-code text along the journey based on various criteria, such as red text for negative sentiment, green for positive, etc.I know that I can copy and paste the table from FigJam into a Figma design file to change font color, but when I do that, I’m not able to use other nice table-related features in Figma at this time, such as adjusting the width of individual columns. Thanks!
Hello, I’m trying to work out if it’s possible to change text colour within a table cell on FigJam. If I choose a change of colour it is only allowing me to change the background colour. I’ve tried hacking it but to no prevail, any ideas? Thanks Please search for existing topics before posting! Press 🔍 at the upper right to search.
Does anyone else find the pink for slots and the purple for auto layout too similar? personally it feels so close (I use dark mode and don't have great vision) I find myself having to bend over my computer like a cocktail shrimp to tell which is which. can I edit this color? does anyone else have this issue?
I wish there is a native “embed” option in FigJam where we can embed any links from photos and videos without having to download and upload them to figjam. Canva has a simila feature which is really convenient.
Ai suggestions are turned off in the menubut I’m still getting this every time I copy and paste a text frame
I wondering if someday I will be able to create a custom format within Figma Slides. I need to create presentations for a huge format, as the screens for Google CEO with the size of 6240x2160 pixels. As I can't do using Microsoft PowerPoint I have hopes that I will be able to customize the size at Figma Slides using images and videos in 4k and working online with my team. It's what I'm dreaming for.
The Issue: Currently, manual file organization (uploading/moving .tsx files into folders) is only available at the start of a project. Once a history is established, the UI forces users to use the AI agent to move files. Why this is broken: Credit Waste: The AI treats "moving a file" as a full generation task, often rewriting the entire code block. Using AI credits for basic file system management is inefficient and costly. Workflow Friction: Manual uploads are restricted to the root directory, preventing users from maintaining clean project architectures without burning through their prompt limits. Requested Fix: Enable a permanent manual file manager that allows users to upload, move, and organize files across folders at any stage of the project without invoking the AI agent or consuming credits.
Hey folks! 👋 I was using Figma’s Swap Library feature recently and came across a little hiccup that I think could use some improvement. You know how it works: when you swap libraries, Figma tries to match styles between the old and new library based on the token names, right? But… when there’s a name change or a slight difference in naming conventions, it just says “None found,” and that’s it. 😅 You’re left with elements still tied to the old library, which can be a bit frustrating, especially when you’ve spent time updating your naming structure to make things more organized or meaningful. What’s the Ask? Can we get an option to manually map these “None found” tokens to styles in the new library? Why This Matters This would be super handy for situations like: You’ve changed alpha/black/20 to opacity/black/20 in the new library. Sure, the names are different, but it’s still essentially the same style! Being able to manually link these would save so much hassle. You re
Mind map in theory is amazing to visualise complex dependencies and structure but lack of functionality like turning lists into maps, exporting maps into text etc. Changing the direction of the map? Currently nodes are spreading from left to right, not right to left, top to bottom etc.and on top of everything - AI SLOPPPPPP. Let me work, not generate some meaningless content...
It would be super cool to be able to work on slides both in Slides AND in the FigJam where most workshop content is in. I imagine some kind of widget-y solution, where you can add one or more slides to the FigJam, for both viewing and editing directly in the FigJam. That way we don’t have to shuffle between numerous files, but can gather everything related to the project in a repository kind of format. That’s all. On my wishlist ✨
In our organization we use Figma on an Enterprise plan, and we manage a large number of users coming from a broader international company structure. When users request a paid seat (Full, Dev, or Viewer with collaboration), they can currently add a note for the admin, which is helpful on their side. What is missing for us is the reverse: a way for admins to show a short configurable message to the requester at the moment they ask for a seat. This message could: Indicate who to contact (e.g. a specific Microsoft Teams channel or an email address for our design tooling team). Provide a short checklist of what to verify before sending the request (correct account, correct workspace, business justification, cost center, manager approval, etc.). Clarify how the approval flow works in a large enterprise context (for example, “Your request will only be processed after you or your manager contact us on Teams with X/Y info”). Because of the size of our company, we get a high volume of seat re
