Figma Username vs. Figma Community Display Name

Hi I’m interested your community Post I need some information from you that I also want to do what you have posted. I am not getting the option to do community post. Please can you help me?

I just joined, realised it did this, and going to immediately delete my profile! This is a serious privacy concern, wth.

The Community Support team can either update your username or delete your account.

Just a heads-up:

• When logging into the forum for the first time, users have the option to select their username.
• If you'd like us to change your username, we can update it for you.
• If you’d prefer to delete your account instead, we can take care of that upon request.
  We’ll send you a DM shortly to proceed with the deletion if that’s what you’d like.

Hey ​@Devon_Skidmore , you can change your Figma Community Display name by updating your profile handle directly in your account settings.

Here’s how you can do it:

1. Open Figma and go to the file browser.
2. Click on your profile picture in the top-left corner to open the account menu.
3. Click in Account section, then ‘change name’ in blue (If you don’t want your full name to be displayed in your Community profile, but please note it will also change into your account).
4. For the Figma Community profile (handle): click in Community section, then ‘change handle’ in blue
5. Enter your desired handle, ‘xxx’ in the field provided, then confirm by clicking ‘Change handle’.

This will update your display name in the Figma Community. (see screenshot below)
