It would be helpful if pressing the ESC key could cancel an ongoing drag operation when a user accidentally clicks and starts dragging the wrong object.
Currently, the only way to undo this action is to use Ctrl+Z, which adds an unnecessary step. Allowing ESC to immediately cancel the drag operation and restore the object's original position would make the workflow faster and more intuitive.
