Is it possible to add comments in Figma, I shared the prototype to few folks wondering if there is a comment feature.

Hi @pingpong,

This is currently a feature request — but you're not alone in asking for it, and we understand how useful this would be.

To help surface this feedback, I’ve passed your post along to the team. I’ve also moved this thread to the Suggest a feature category so others who feel the same can show their support.

If there are any updates to share, we’ll be sure to post them here.

Thanks again for the thoughtful suggestion!

I have been using the Beta version of the comments feature in Figma Make - when I used to use Adobe XD, the commenting feature was essential in addressing content, design and feature updates.

As Adobe XD prototypes were based on the original designed pages it allowed teams to comment on a page by page basis during several iteration and review phases, it was also useful being able to generate specific links for specific stakeholders who may not wish everyone to view their comments before decisions have been made.

As Figma Make works in code the screens are overlaid on top of one another causing an issue when multiple comments are added, it is hard to see which page they are on without closing down the comments pane, entering the page via the prototype and trying to work out which element they relate to. Although it allows for a snippet of the element to be included in the comment pane I still found this difficult to track.

It would be easier if the comments were grouped according to screen.
