Hi there!By that i mean change it from left to right and right to left for rows, and top to bottom and bottom to top for columns. For example it would be helpfull for components with icon+text like buttons. Instead of making variants with icon on the left and icon on the right we can just apply property attached to auto-layout direction.
I keep receiving the following error message when attempting to run plugins: “An error occurred while loading the plugin environment.” I’ve cleared my app cache, restarted, and uninstalled plugins all to no success. When I open the console, it seems to stop at this point:
The footer has a component with an arrow that brings the user to the top. Is there a way to have the foot and above section connect while keeping auto auto layout? I know I can use absolute positioning. Just curious is there another way apart from having the above section retain the back to top component. Thank you
So If text overflows from one, it can show up in another textbox. This would be useful for two-column/grid composition and responsive layouts.
When I export (to png) any shapes with curved corners there is a little gray line on the edges.I’ve tried finding YT videos, snapping to grid, etc. But nothing seems to work.
Why was I charged $80 for my account with only one site? Me alone, this is crazy
When exporting Figma designs to PowerPoint, I’ve noticed a few issues that affect the final presentation quality: Fonts become smaller than intended Blurred backgrounds or transparent fills don’t render properly Overall, the visual fidelity of the export is lost In contrast, the Pitchdeck plugin handles these exports beautifully—fonts stay consistent, and effects are preserved. I’d love to see if there’s a way to either improve native exporting or perhaps collaborate/merge with the Pitchdeck plugin to make the export experience seamless. This would be especially useful for teams who use Figma for presentation design and want to maintain design integrity across formats. Would love to hear if others are facing the same issue or have found a workaround!
PPT file import feature into Figma. How do you preserve the fonts from your PPT source file after importing into Figma? I tried it and all fonts and its formatting fell apart. Is there are a way to preserve fonts when importing?
I’ve been a Figma supporter for years, but their new billing system is broken and unfair. I made a simple adjustment ONE DAY after my renewal date to adjust our team’s plan based in the new pricing model, and now we’re being charged for both the old and new seat, with no way to fix it. Here’s what happened: ✔️ My renewal hit on March 16 with 5 full seats. ✔️ On March 17, I downgraded 3 of those to developer seats since develpers don’t need full editing access. ✔️ Figma says my billing locked at renewal, so now I have to pay for both the full and developer seats. ✔️ Even if I switch back, I’m still charged the full amount. There’s no way to adjust it without extra fees. Figma support stopped responding after 20+ hours. So… anyone here working at Figma who can escalate this?
Hello. I am putting the finishing touches on my prototype but one thing is bugging me. The entire screen, including the status bar is pushed out when a new screen comes in. This obviously doesn’t happen on real phones but I can’t figure out how to do it. I tried choosing “animate matching layers” but when I do that, the screen that is sliding in has objects that don’t slide properly or stay visible when they should have disappeared, like some weird layer-stuff going on. I am sure this is simple to do but I can’t figure it out and it’s driving me crazy! I would greatly appreciate anyone sharing their process for making the screen move in/out from side to side (not scrolling) while the top status bar stays put.

Our payments tool does NOT support India, Africa, or any place outside of North America, South America, and the Philippines Must speak great English. Must use Figma and Framer Please send me your portfolio.
Dear Figma Support, I tried to renew my Education plan, but I was unable to do so. I am still a student and would like to continue using Figma with the Education plan. Could you please assist me in extending my access or provide guidance on what steps I need to take? Thank you for your support! Best regards,Malala Soifer
This is super scummy. Does anybody know where we can complain in the Eu about it? Maybe people would like to jump on a groups case against Figma. This is so low. I’ve been buying my motnhly single user subscription (18e), this month they charged me for 8 people + 5 FigJam seats. Lol, nobody asked for this, they did this on their own. This is mega unprofessional and scammy.
When I apply a string variable to the text that is not text property (of a component), it jumps to the current selection as expected, so that I can select the intended option right away after mistakenly selecting the wrong one, or simply, select one in the same folder as it is the whole point of putting things in folders. But if it’s a text property in a component, it won’t jump to the selected variable. (img2) Happens with every single text property. Why? Is it a bug, or is it a feature to drive me crazy?
Is there a way to auto-play a Figma Slides presentation? I created a Slides deck for use at a high school career day booth and I’d like to just start it and let it go through the slides automatically and then repeat until I stop it. Any built-in or creative solutions to achieve this?
Hi there, I have a simple layout in essence. It’s a ‘table’ that overflows off the horizontal edge of the viewport. The problem occurs when I try to main a section ‘sticky’. This won’t work when a horizontal scroll is introduced. You can see the basically layout and sticky scroll on this prototype . This is how the page should ‘work’. But when you scroll horizontally I want both the sticky element + table content to scroll at the same time. When I add the scroll to the parent that contains both the sticky section and table data, this happens . The scroll ‘works’ but the ‘sticky’ element is lost. Is there a way around this? Here you can see my Figma file (view only). I’m at a lose at how tor resolve this - maybe it’s not possible? As an aside, I want the table headings (in grey) to remain in view always. I couldn’t find a way for them to be ‘absolute’ and not scroll out the viewport. So I had to duplicate the text and put it over the top of the scrollable section so it didn’t move. You
